Actually, according to the blog (as much as I can gather from it, anyway), the latest version is 0.55, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to play it/download it.

From what I can tell version 0.55 has a working HP bar now (once it's empty it takes you to the game over screen) and your fire attacks deplete too.

Also, I didn't realise an instant game over was implemented in version 0.50
