Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Running as fast as she could, Giselle managed to reach the water, just in time, as the next arrows came her way. Tidecaller helped her, as she saw the sheet of water freeze before her, and then she let loose her scream. She watched as it tore into the trio, and shattered their eardrums, throwing them completely off balance, and outright killing two of them with her next watery attack. Seeing the last one so crippled, Giselle called up an lance made of water, and hurled it at the remaining one, to finish him off so he didn't tell his superiors what had transpired here, and then washing a wave up to wash them out to sea.

Once she had done that, Giselle moved into the water, and made for the temple as fast as she could manage, surfing like Terra had done on their way to Garellia. "Buddy... I think they want me... us, dead," Giselle said under her breath as she surfed them along to the temple, where Terra could treat her wounds hopefully.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

I think you're right. He answered. The surfing trick wasn't all that hard now that she had actual control of the water around her. What the tricky part was, was rolling the water in a swell behind her. Once she had that down she made good time. Wasn't as good as on horseback but the horse was dead. No changing that.

What was more interesting was how they'd gotten ahead of her. Someone sold her out? not impossible.

Seeing her bleeding however she was immediately fussed over by priestesses rather then being able to head straight for Kylie who she Knew would still be underground in the pool. Terra cut through it pretty quick however and just slung Giselle over her shoulder, swatting her ass and ignoring the blood, and the arrow.. walking her downstairs. Run into some trouble My fine cockbearing sack of potatoes? she asked, bouncing her way down the stairs intentionally painfully. Mom's mad at you for somethin.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"There's no way they knew I was coming without some help on the inside. Someone had to have told them I was coming somehow. The question to ask there though, is which one," Giselle said as she surfed them along, which took her a few minutes to get used to, but eventually she got the hang of it well enough.

Once she got to the temple though, she went through the doors and was soon thrown over Terra's shoulder, and received a swat on the tush. "Eek. Careful you don't hit my leg. And yes, I did. Three someones shot my horse out from under me, and then shot me, twice, as you can see. I... fed them to the fishies though, after I got to the water," Giselle said, yelping as she was spanked, and groaning in pain as she went. "S-Something the matter, Terra? Did I make you mad, maybe?" Giselle asked curiously as she was bounced quite purposely, after Tidecaller mentioned what he did about her being upset with her for something.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

I got a Visit. From a certain cat and dog you might remember. The dog was fantastic company. very sweet. The cat, less so. I have 40 priestesses with everything from missing jewelry to enchanted underwear. She said, bouncing Giselle again.

Strangest thing. The Cat would NOT shut up, about much of anything, I know we all met at the bar, and they were to find some fruit from Kylie's belongings But. See for yourself. she said, Carrying Giselle down to where Kylie was.

Kylie was still in the pool, and her condition hadn't improved, if anything she looked paler. Kylie's belongings had been strung around. Arrows, poisons, knives, coin thrown around everywhere. The odd thing was that the water had changed color to a happy bright orange color, and Kylie had been graffitied. "Kuna was Here" and "Dick goes here" and "Plants gone wild!" scribbled in various places with paint as well as whiskers and a cat nose painted on her

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"W-Well I'm sorry about that. I didn't know they would be that mischievous though," Giselle grunted, wincing in pain as she was bounced again.

When they arrived at the bath, Giselle saw the state of the room, and she sighed softly, giving an apologetic look at Terra. Though, when she saw Kylie, and the graffiti on her beloved, she couldn't help but laugh a bit, though the paler look worried her greatly. "How quickly can you treat these, Terra?" Giselle asked softly, gesturing at her wounds.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

What? These? Terra asked, snapping the arrows and pulling them out of her leg and shoulder, causing her to howl before Terra started on the magics. Cammy may have been muddled but I ne'er was. So If I see the cat again, shard of her or not, I'm gonna beat it out like a rug. she said, closing he wounds. Who the hell colors a fuckin healing pool. They found yer damned oranges by the way, left a trail of peels a mile long and we're still dealing with the damned enchanted clothin sneaking around the temple. she complained, getting Giselle healed up in about 10 minutes and back up to shape before looking at Kylie and sighing.

Strange taste wave singer, strange tastes. but I like her. her inner guest said, laughing softly. Least they know where Dick goes. Everywhere wet and warm.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle cried out in pain as Terra snapped and pulled the arrows out. "I... I'm sorry Terra. Seriously, I didn't know they'd do that. And you'd better not do anything to her shards Terra, if you want Kylie back as Kylie. She won't be the same if all of her isn't there," Giselle replied as Terra patched her up, looking up at the priestess with tears in her eyes, not entirely from the pain, and less from that, and more about her words on beating the hell out of Kina... or Kuna... whichever the damned cat was.

"Heh, they are a part of her after all, so they better know," Giselle thought back to Tidecaller, chuckling a bit.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Fuckin Cats. It's all cats. Not just Kylie-Cat, and I tell you true that girl deserves a whoopin now and again. Terra said, shaking her head before going about carefully cleaning Kylie up, raising a hand to spear an enchanted pair of panties with a piece of stone grown straight from the ground. 1 down. 200 to go. she muttered, washing the paint away.

You gotta get back on your feet hun, sooner then later, everything's going to hell. she muttered, tending to Kylie carefully before going about refreshing the magics of the water, causing a little color to flush back into her skin, doing her good.

I hate to say it, but Tidecaller ain't no healer. She's right, I'm not a good healer. I'm a really good smasher though. Great smasher though. Cmon, here's you're next exercise, it'll seem pretty difficult but I think you can manage. Meditate here next to Kylie, and draw the water up into the pool. She's drawing it in. Terra said, giving Giselle some instruction.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Giselle sat there, panting softly, as Terra went about helping Kylie out some in the water, where she breathed a little easier to see some of Kylie's color coming back to her. When Terra told her to meditate next to Kylie and draw the water up into the pool, Giselle nodded and slipped her clothes off and waded out through the water, to Kylie's head. She sat down in the pool, leaning down and kissing Kylie on the lips lovingly, and then sighed softly as she tried to relax in the water.

"I can meditate well enough though to be honest," Giselle said to Terra as she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath and letting it out slow, as she sat back.

Then, Giselle did as Terra had told her, and trying to draw the water up in the pool, without disturbing Kylie's unconscious/semi-dead form before her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Doing her meditation thing, Giselle found that the sanctuary of her own mind seemed to be consistently not that thing that she hoped it was, you know, sanctuary. And more a conduit through which everyone and everything who didn't have a physical body on her plane of reality could use to fuck with her.

Tidecaller didn't bother her this time, but two people she desperately needed to talk to did. Aria and Idris. After a few moments and with the rising of the water, she opened her eyes and found Idris lounging on the other side of the cavern, while Aria rubbed her shoulders. Her very own, very familiat water and storm there.

Hey hun? You doin alright? Aria asked her quietly, just rubbing her shoulders and perching her chin on her head, sighing, while Idris seemed as crackly as ever. Why in hells bells would she be alright? We were shot. She's probably losing her fucking mind. And then the priestesses tried that body swap thing and almost you know... Died until Kuna's chaos stopped them. Giselle honey, love, heart of hearts, my eternal. You have to get Hecate back here, to Us. Idris said, Aria sighing. Is that really the time for this? And how? Those two idiots stole the oranges, and she needs a break. We have time Idris, calm down, I know you're worried about Kalt. Lord knows I'm aware of Ichor causing absolute Bedlam when she's not reading, but let her rest. Besides, who's gonna take up our spots here? We'd need well, Luna and Sola could do it but they're not coming. Hecate could do it but she'd be pulling in so much power that let's face it, that bitch of a halfling god would be here in no time flat.

Spoiling this touching reunion was a new voice that Giselle wasn't aware of until Just now. Their lost little Kylie was poking her head out of hiding. You're all idiots. I'm hiding in the fucking throne room because Calinsi is hunting all of us for fucking Batteries. You need to get out of there and help Giselle. You're all thinking of the wrong things. You need Kina. So I can send a message to Ashera and get her here. SHE can do it. she said, a feeling of well... absolute control coming from this new shard that was making itself known to Giselle.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

As she sat there and meditated, Giselle sighed softly once again before she felt... odd. she was sinking deeper into her mind, and she found it to be not exactly what she had expected. Instead, she found herself without Tidecaller interfering for once with her mind, and she saw Water and Storm, right there with her. Giselle's eyes teared up at the sight of them, as she knew they were struggling to maintain Kylie's body as it is right now.

Sniffling, Giselle wiped her eyes before she shook her head a bit, at Aria's question. "N-No hon, I'm sorry... but really, I'm not. I'm trying my best, but... it's really hard without you there, t-to support me. If Delilah and Tina were here, it'd be different. Because then I'd have people that I know, and trust. But right now... I can't truly trust anyone it feels like. I'm even scared to trust Cosimo and Terra, and Vos too, even though he claims to have been your friend. And Diana who said that she'd help," Giselle said, covering her face with her hands as Water, or Aria rather, hugged her from behind.

As the two spoke, Giselle listened, feeling better already by just hearing Kylie's voice, even if it was coming from two different people. When Aria mentioned not being able to use Hecate and why they couldn't, Giselle looked up and was about to speak, when another voice chimed in. "C-Calinsi... who's that? And Wee Jas can't come back in here where Kylie's at... it's protected by Melora, and... others... at least, I believe it is anyway," Giselle asked, looking around for the source of the new voice, whether she can find it or not. "And I can get Hecate, and Gale both in here to take your places, so that you can speak to Kalt, Idris. The biggest problem we'll have now is Ichor I think... because I really don't know how to make her follow me without... you know, killing me," she went on to say with a confident look.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

You might be right on that one, and if Gale was here it'd be safer then just Hecate. Don't count Wee Jas out though. we're pretty sure there's nothing stopping her from just Walking in the old fashioned way. Idris said, smiling at Giselle. We know it's hard hun, we know it's not fair either. Calinsi though is a problem. I'd wager my left tit that he's behind 90% of this. Bet your sweet ass he is. He's been chasing me around since I left with a box to shove me in. Kylie piped over all of them. Not gonna let anyone here see me either. I can't. The moment he figures out what form I'm in, I'm hosed. Stay away from the royal guard though Giselle. They've figured out who you are now after you wandered out of the district with Riss. Look, to sustain the body and the kids you need a positive and negative aspect. Gale and Hecate, Aria and Ichor, Idris and Kalt, Kina and Kuna, or Sola and Luna. It's why we're fading faster. Idris and Aria have us in stasis instead of healing so if you can get Gale and Hecate here Together to take over Idris and Aria can get out and our body will actually start to heal. There's a problem though if Hecate is the negative, and that's the energy demand. Hecate doesn't have any of her own, she takes. You need something with a lot of power in it for her to use. Priestesses could swap out, she could use the Sky net as well. If anything the best thing we could get ahold of would be one of Cosimo's cannons... just... drop it down here. Kylie explained, muttering while Idris and Aria sighed and cuddled Giselle, idris laying her head in her lap while Aria cuddled from behind, listening to the disembodied voice of Kina and Kuna's aptly named Bossy.

I'm in the Palace Giselle, you'll need some kind of big distraction or serious muscle for me to get out. So... you know... take your time. The other two are right, get a rest. you know we all believe in you, well... not Ichor, she doesn't believe in anything. That's her problem

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Well, the last time Wee Jas came in here, she got flung against and pinned to the wall, and almost slain. I don't think she'll come back in here so easily without one helluva plan, and then there's the Raven Queen wanting you now too for some damn reason. If I can get Hecate and Gale here long enough to take over for you two, Idris, can you convince Kalt to come back? Or, better still, can you convince her to help me and listen to me in getting the rest of you back? Or even better, unleash hell on this... Calinsi, without destroying the entire country, or more? And Aria, you're Ichor's opposite. How best can I fight her, or at least subdue her long enough to force her back into Kylie's body, so you and her can take over? The more I know, girls, the better chance I'll have. So anything you can tell me will help, even if it's just words of encouragement," Giselle replied when Idris, Aria, and Bossy as Kina and Kuna named her, all finished speaking. "Also... can Cosimo find this Calinsi and kill him? Or can Terra, maybe? I'm strong with Tidecaller now, but even still, I don't know how to use this power very well yet, and I'm running out of time. I was ambushed just before I came in here and shot twice with arrows, after getting thrown from my horse. And does Calinsi control the royal guard then, is why I should steer clear of them? O-Oh and one last thing. Did Kina and Kuna have to color the pool and all that other stuff, and make Terra mad? She was not very gentle with me on the way down to you and bounced me all over the place, and I'm already in enough damned pain without you," Giselle asked after a few moments, wrapping one arm around Idris and the other around Aria, not wanting to let them go just yet.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

They all sighed collectively. Calinsi is the kings steward so until the king becomes an adult Calinsi rules the country more or less. So yes. he's trouble. As for Ichor? Aria would know better then I would.

Drown her. If you're looking to incapacitate her. You need to be somewhere that her variety of poisons and acids can't reach you. So... drag her into the ocean or the sewer or something and drown her until she stops trying to murder you. That's all I got. Nothing I'm gonna be able to say is gonna change that one's mind. She's free to learn whatever she wants as much as she wants. This is paradise to her, this freedom. Aria said, Idris sighing.

Convincing Kalt to help isn't hard, convincing her to do it without exploding everything is much harder. So. I wont know until I see how badly she's degraded without us Giselle. Don't know what to tell you. What I can say is that me and Aria would be more help to you then we are here right now. We were necessary here in the beginning but now you can trade us out with Gale and Hecate. We don't know what else to tell you except we love you. You can do it. Idris finished, smiling up at her.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Ah, gotcha. So the true power behind the throne. And I doubt he'd give up his power when the king comes of age," Giselle said softly when Bossy had finished talking. "And I don't want to kill Ichor. If I drown her, won't it... you know, do just that?" she replied to Aria, glancing over to Idris and smiling to her.

"Alright hon. Soon as I'm healed up, I'll head back to find Hecate and wait for Gale to come back. I... kind of told her to help find the shooter so we can get rid of him, so that we don't have to worry about him anymore," Giselle said after Idris was done, deciding to do just what the two had said about switching them out.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Ok well..... see you when I see you I guess. Kylie said, the others nodding before the meditation finished and Giselle found herself opening her eyes in front of Kylie's body, the water back up to full levels and swirling a bit, the color back to normal.

Didn't want to intrude. Seemed to be a private thing.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

"Of course hon. You stay safe and hidden, and... I'll find you, somehow," Giselle told Bossy, blowing a kiss in the general direction she heard the voice coming from.

With that, she hugged Idris and Aria goodbye, and her dream soon faded out, with her opening her eyes in the pool again. "Thank you buddy, I appreciate it," Giselle told Tidecaller through their mental link.

Giselle looked around for Terra, before she sighed softly. "Kuna did what he did to your priestesses, to save them, Kylie said. Well, not the panties thing, I don't think, but... the rest... I believe was to help them. And I believe that I'm going to need a new disguise, Terra. I'm known, and without a better disguise, I'm not gonna be able to move without getting attacked or anything very easily," Giselle told Terra when she spotted her. "Now, I need to go find Hecate, which will be tougher without those oranges I had, but I'll make do. And then I need Gale, as soon as possible. Terra, I have something important I need to ask you. If Hecate comes here, and Gale, they're going to take over, where Idris and Aria are now, and with them inside of Kylie, her body will begin to heal somewhat. But they're worried that that... Wee Jas person, thing, will come to try and take her again. Are there protections on this sacred place of Melora, that will prevent any other gods from entering without her say so?" she went on to say.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

I have no idea how gods do wardings. They're magic is beyond anyone and if a priest or someone says otherwise they're lying. I honestly can't say if Wee Jas can get back in here. I wouldn't discount it. As for the Cat, uh huh, sure. she said, raising an eyebrow before looking Giselle over.

Disguises are not my strong suit, that's Cosimo's thing. But you should know, Diana was killed last night... Vos is in bad shape, and Cosimo isn't seeing anyone, he's on his ship. Apparently the Okami's sprite was a shard and when it didn't recognize him...well.. he snapped. Terra said, looking worried.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Hearing Terra's words about Kuna made Giselle chuckle a bit as she shrugged, but what she had to say afterwards was very... sad, and depressing news. "D-Diana was? Oh gods. I barely got to know her, but... she promised to try and help get Kylie back," Giselle replied, hanging her head a bit. "We need to find that okami then, the one with the sprite. That sprite... had a shard of Kylie, and if Cos was trying to forcibly take the sprite from the okami, then that may be why she didn't recognize him... maybe, or she was protecting him for some reason or another. We also need Cosimo in his right mind right now though Terra... like, badly. There's more to this than meets the eye, and... the steward of Garellia may be involved in the shooting, perhaps... I'm not entirely sure, and I can't say more right now, but Cosimo holds some of the strongest power in Garellia right now, and if he's off his rocker, then he's not helping us, nor is he on our side. Soon as you're able, can you go with me to talk with him? Maybe he'll listen to both of us together," she went on to say, standing up and getting out of the pool to dry off and get redressed.

"If you have any wigs here, that would be helpful, but if not, I'll make do with my magics, just need to change them around a little so I look different," Giselle said as an afterthought, as she got her clothes back on.

Re: Kylie (Courage Wolf)

Well.... there's another problem. Someone melted a Pelor temple last night, it's in ruins, the paladins are all angry, 1 of them is missing. The cat and dog were seen. So was a crazy green woman who apparently had fangs like a snake and could spit acid named Ichor. And the king is getting mercenaries ready on the northern border to storm the harbor once they're through the abandoned districts. So you know... Pick a problem I guess. Cosimo might still be the right play considering... Terra said, just giving her the bad news all at once it seemed while heading for the stairs.
