Usually for me, it would be the damn wagon breaking down. Why I always took carpenter in the earlier versions. Of course, then the oxen would die. Or we'd drown in the river.

damn. I remember Oregon Trail 2, haven't played that shit in ages.
I remember this one time everyone was gettin the flu, getting sick and all. And then out of the blue the people get pissy at me or something. THEN it comes to I get every OKAY and then boom, mountain lion eats me.

Oh no no no it was they got sick, then two got rattle snake bites (wtf did they play with the same snake?) and then THEN the lion came got me after I healed their snake bite wounds. I'd perfer the snake bite >.> Thats healable....being eaten isn't. XD

That's true. Being eaten, in the most traditional sense of the word, doesn't really make it easy to bounce back right away.
And I only ever played it in school. We'd fight on game day to get that one first. Second choice was Jeopardy. If those were out, I'd settle for the old TI game "Hunt the Wumpus" (which was a very basic strategy type game) and did surprisingly well on it *laughs*
