I already said I didn't have a problem with you taking the story where you wanted it to go, my problem was with the way you were going about it (ala. by ignoring the votes that were cast). It wouldn't have taken 2 minutes out of your story to have Zoey walk over to the zombie, derp around with him and/or his erection for a couple minutes, either get it off or get bored trying to get it off, and then move on.
How do you respond instead by not getting the votes you wanted? You rage/quite the CYOA and kill off the character, for no reason other than to shove our votes back in our faces.
If you don't want to continue the story, that's fine, but don't pretend that it's my or anyone else's fault that you're not continuing it. I've explained multiple ways that you could have handle the situation better and continued on without any lingering problems (in this post, even), but you chose to simply quit because of a disagreement.
Now, if you come back a while later cooled off and want to continue the story, I'd be happy to see it continued. I even hope you do, because it was actually fairly enjoyable up until now, and I'd be disappointed to see it ended so abruptly because of a mere disagreement.
