I've been wanting to try this ever since I saw the Let's Play of Snatcher by Retsupurae members Slowbeef and Diabetus.

What is Neo Kobe Pizza, you ask? It's a dish featured in the cult classic game Snatcher. It's a piece of pizza dipped into soup, presumably chicken. I am in no way the first person to replicate eating this dish, but I wanted to try it for myself.

If it's been taking you nine minutes to stomach through it, I doubt it could be all that good, or is your slice not coming back up xD?

I recorded it and was watching the video to make sure I wasn't a complete idiot when eating it. Will edit it and post it on Youtube later.

However, my verdict is in. NEO KOBE PIZZA IS A PRETTY COOL GUY.

Obviously the pizza didn't come back up. Disappointment abound.

Edit - Er. Never mind. Also, you're are awesome for having those Fritos. Those things are the dominant species in the snack kingdom.

Edit 2 - So I checked Kotaku, apparently other people used miso soup. It doesn't sound too good when you imagine the taste of miso instead of chicken soup.

Yeah, I dunno why they used miso soup. The game doesn't specify what soup is used. Guess they wanted to be more MOE~ about their attempts and ended up eating something crappy.

I will say that the soup sharpens the taste of the meat and cheese. Adds a little flavor of its own but the main strength of it seems to cause a flavor explosion of what is already on the pizza. Not bad at all.

I'm really hungry for pizza now, it's good thing I don't particularly like Chicken soup.

Regarding the type of soup I'd say it's simply down to the fact that Neo Kobe City is in Japan, and that by far the most common type of soup there is miso soup. Even when they're making other types of soup, the lazy man's method is to simply add different meats and seasoning to normal miso soup. While it's unstated in the game, in all likely hood miso is a good guess for the type it was meant to be.

Makes me wonder though, if a lot of Japs are missing out on a good creamy chicken soup. And what are you talking about Cappy!? However do you survive colds without it? When ever I used to wake up feeling ill, it never took my brain long to figure out "Yes! I get to eat chicken soup today!"

Look out Obe! You've fallen into his ingeniously laid out plan in which he'll immediately point out that he came back just to annoy you! And the fact that I pointed it out means I've fallen into his other ingeniously laid out plan in which he was waiting for someone to point out his initial plan so he can point out that it was all according to plan!

Although your American pizza hut looks notably more like food than what we have down here.
