Glad to see it's not dead and progress has been made. Not that I know what, or how much, progress. But it's something.

Hopefully the dev gets better at least at communicating with their supporters going forward. Delays happen, a quick note saying something about it could go a long way.

Anyway, hope this update is good. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

Yeah but a real developer doesn't get paid until the game is finished, so we can take it on faith that they're doing everything they can to release a product. With Patreon it's not so straightforward.

How do you activate the fred scenes?

I guess they are not implemented yet. One of them happens randomly, if you have saved in the gym, where 0.6 ended, try it again, it worked for me.

True, but how many Triple A games were garbage because they had to hit deadlines and wanted to get paid? If you use Patreon you're giving the author room for mistake and more time to get an actual good product on the table, if you ask me I'd rather some games came out 2 or 3 years later (IE Final Fantasy XV) than having to release a forced story and incomplete gameplay because the previous director wasted a fuckton of time and since the board of directors was getting tired of spending money and wanted results, voilá, a game that is a shadow of what it could've been.

You willing to play 60 bucks every year, to justify the delay of the game?
You should write to SE, I'm sure they wouldn't mind taking your money.

I think that creators have to show respect to their patrons first.

There are too many creators whom make a lot of big mistakes and this will only ruin their trust for us!

We are nothing without patrons, but I see many creator behave like: "I'm the boss, I'm always right, I work and release when i want so I don't care what you say". It's not exactly like this. Comunications with our patrons is the first important things.

My patrons can see a post with a real time progress of my work, for example. I don't tell lies: They always know if I'm stucked or If I going on with the program for the nex update.

For other people: You don't know how many efforts and problems, creators can have! So try to make a game by yourself, and you can understand what I'm saying. And maybe try do create a game in a different language! Many creators are not english, like me. It's hard! And many creators are alone and not a team! I'm alone!

So use your good sense!

I'll be honest, I don't follow that many Patreons, usually someone brings a game to my attention and tells me the game is good and I check the game out and what not and, well, honestly right now I only follow 5 or 6 Patreons, so I'm pretty sure there's a huge list of scumbags out there, but sometimes people DO have problems, and creating games is not the same as serving burguers at McDonalds, sometimes you might not feel inclined to write porn or story or hentai scenes or whatever it is, and it sounds better saying "I'm sick" other than "I'm demotivated". I dunno, I just like to believe people are good after they put out a passionate project, but some games, oh boy... All you need is to play the first version to understand it's a cash cow.

He/she earns nothing at all. A novelist gets an advance for a first draft, a second paycheck once the story is finished and accepted and finally once it's published. Not if you're on Patreon. You get a monthly paycheck, even though maybe you had a "bad month" of not wanting to write anything at all.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing. As long as the author is honest about it.

Martin can take all his remaining time to write his next book and when it's done, it'll still pay his bills and then some.
Patreon gives the chance to non highly productive and not very qualified people to create some niche stuff, that wouldn't get funded using the usual channels. As long as their audience is happy, the process works.
Sadly many of them are lying milkers and their behavior throws shade on the whole model.
