@demidemon, I don't think it'll be hard to do what I and Krappa talked about. All they have to do is remove the requirements from the events and everyone can play the way they want. Your expectations are indeed more complicated.

Lily OTV is one of the game I like most.

I don't like corruption/adult games with virgin/faithful route and slut/cheating route. I prefer many routes with different partners or more at once... but I'm thinking something different... I want the possibility to DO or NOT every sex scene. Ok,... maybe, in future, some scene required some "corruption" points (and this is very logical), but I want the possibility to chose what to do in every situations, without lose too much scenes (or maybe none of them, why not?). I think is more near a "real" life and it give me more freedom.

Bloody hell! I actually forgot about this until I just went through my web favourites. At first I thought perhaps they were just racking in cash and releasing each quarter, but it doesn't even seem like they do that now.

With all the other games that have come out ( a vast majority being shite though), Lily of the Valley now feels like an interactive movie instead of an adult game.

I wonder what year they plan to release the final version

Read on another forum from someone who's suppose to be a patron that they said they would release the next version in May, so if that's true they've already missed the time frame for their release date.

Anyway, delays can happen and that doesn't bother me, but it really sets me back as a potential patron to see the lack of communication on their part, specially considering that their last post on Patreon was on the 23rd of April, which is one month and half ago. That, at least for me, doesn't inspire any kind of confidence in a developper...

The lack of communication was one of the major things that made me drop my support for them.

Apparently after them being silent for months on end with no contact ti paying patreons, other sites started to get pissed off with these guys. Eventually they are supposed to have posted on Patreon saying something like 'Still here'.

But thankfully instead of that making people stay, it just pissed so many off and loads of people quit there paid subscription to them.

Big tip to P & P who in this thread mentioned how important marketing is to projects like this. 1: Update you customers. 2: Don't take the piss out of your customers. 3: Don't take money from people for a product you have no intention on giving them. Pretty sure that last one comes under fraud or theft or something. Could be wrong.

But thats the issue with Patreon.Your funding the artists, not the projects. Even the rewards/incentives/tiers are not legally binding.

Yes Patreon is for risk willing capital, that's it really, you are investing money in hopes of getting a ROI in form of what you invested in. I can tell you many people get screwed big time while investing in product in the industry, only there they may lose a serious sum of money. What we are risking are peanuts. But remember I'm not defending them, I just say like when you play EVE Online, every time you undock you risk losing your ship, so all the money you invest on patreon consider it lost until proven otherwise. You are taking a risk after all

Best to forget LotV. It had a good start but the devs went all scammy. They can't be defended for their lack of commitment to either the game or the community, and those that are still paying I would suggest you stop.

You work hard for your money to buy the things you want. Don't just give it away.

I wish I could find out what took them so long to release an update after 4 months?
seriously... It's been 4 months since the last one :|
I as a fan can't accept any reason for such late work.
and it'll be a big disappointment if they stop the product and leave everything unfinished.

Its probably just speculation, but I read on another site, theyre suppose to release the next update at the end of this month.

The authors stopped communicating with their patrons a couple of months ago. Since then the money started dropping and they've made an occasional comment or two, saying they are still working on the game.
Make your own conclusions.
