Can't believe I'm doing this, but I think I'll just delete my save and start all over when the game is stable and hopefully more content gets translated.
I went ahead and completed the Imp Mine early so I could turn in the Pickaxe quest (spoiler alert: I've obtained another pickaxe later in the game, so you don't need to hold onto the one from the quest).
As a result, my party is too op and it feels like I'm now outleveling the story content, to the point where I can't even see the barbarian or tentacle enemy H-scenes without losing on purpose because we wipe 3 full rows of enemies in 2-3 turns.
It was a fun run and I learned a lot, looking forward to applying some of the knowledge in the next run.
For anyone that's interested here's what I did for my run:
Did not create any other characters since they don't keep the high stat roll if they respec, instead played with the ones offered by the story:
Sapphire Town first party: recruited all except Blacksmith.
Front Row (everyone ended up dual wielding because it seems to be the best action economy):
- MC: did the escape reroll trick and landed on 39 attributes. Maxed out Str, Vit, Speed and dumped the remaining points into faith (for the status resist)
- Rim: Human Fighter
- Sylph Thief -> I used to ignore her my demo playthroughs, but then Polaris treasure chests were too brutal without a thief. Replace with Max when you get him back
Back Row
- Muse: Gnome Bishop give her one of the Flails that have M range or a Holy staff so she can attack in combat.
- Liesel: kinda there for story purposes, look to give her a sling/magic bow
- Claire: Elf Mage/Wizard, look to give her sling/magic bow
Midgame:
Front Row (give everyone most borderline OP weapon in their main hand and a Stiletto in the off hand):
- MC:
- Rim (Human Fighter)
Interchangeable (back or front)
- Max (Front with dual daggers / Back with dual wield sling/boomerang)
- Elf Valkyrie you recruit from beach town guild. I actually had her as a Back Row spear user, but accidentally sold the spear thinking I was going to replace it with a Greataxe, which turned out to be incompatible. So I gave her Max's daggers and moved her to Front, while Max moved to back row with Ranged). Really good utlity for exploration, mostly in the form of Torch and various cure spells. Also gets Banish Undead later to (attempt to) delete entire rows of annoying ghosts. Dual wield also works great on her because she stuns enemies like crazy.
Back Row
- Muse: Gnome Bishop give her one of the Flails that have M range or a Holy staff so she can attack in combat. Ends up becoming a good source of Holy Damage via autoattacks and can easily one shot Wraiths and other Undead or Demons.
- Claire: ElfMage/Wizard Hunter. At some point I got an elven bow, saw the damage numbers on it were crazy and I kinda needed something to reach backline priority targets. Good thing is she retained all the spells she learned as a mage so now I had a Hunter with great utility like 6 casts of Wizard Eye (minimap spell, name varies depending on translation) and some Blizzard casts for those rows of incorporeal enemies. The slime pet is really good, set its Tactics to "Skill Only" and he will end up spamming 2 abilities: one that Protects a party member and intercepts an attack for them and the other one is a self heal.
During the Imp mine I swapped out Rim for the Evil Sylph Sorceress from snow town. (to keep them busy H-ing her instead of spamming "call friends" and confusion/poison on my party)
Man, I didn't realize how much great utility that class brings to the table: 3 schools of magic (elemental, holy, alchemy), 9 casts of jump, can Appraise, can learn various cures and other debuff clearing spells.
I ended up keeping her just because of that (and the fact Muse, the Bishop accidentally ended up equipping a cursed piece of equipment that costed 1M + gold to remove, which I hindsight I just realized I had a bunch of Remove Curse scrolls in my stash)
Anyways, Final party as I restart the game due to being too OP.
- MC, Fighter: best weapon for the situation in main hand and some holy damage blade in off hand. (Main hand candidates at my point in the game: Stilettos, Ice Blade (vs incorporeal), Thunder Axe (vs water)
- Rim, HumanFighter-> SpellBlade: Moonblade in main hand and Stiletto in offhand. Respecced for change to apply death (although redundant because she one-shots most enemies)
- Blue-haired Elf Valkyrie: I actually forgot to update her gear and she's wielding dual Stilettos.
- Max, Assassin (accidental, but turned out to be worth it): sling + chakram, just proc death on random targets, mainly here cause I can't get rid of him
- Evil Sylph Sorceress: like I said, Elemental/Holy/Alchemy - amazing overall utility pocket knife class, just throw whatever staff allows her to attack from M range or above.
- Claire, ElfMage-> Hunter, ended up spending 2M gold to identify and repair some Evil Bow that now gives her a chance to proc Petrify on hit and basically instakill random targets (if they survive the 200+ damage of the initial attack). Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure if Petrification is killing them or just the regular damage. I really wanna add Summoner to my party since it seems to be needed for a completionist run. Plan would be to respec Claire as Mage->Summoner->Hunter in my next run instead. Not sure if Hunter gets access to all the summons if I do this.

Some people get off on implied NTR behind closed doors, so it's probably catering to that preference.very disappointed in the ntr and inn ntr. 2 images with no variations and then no more fucking images after the 2 initials inn ntr cg for characters. would it really have killed the dev to continuously use the same damn picture but with different facial expressions and reuse dialogue each time the characters fuck in the inn instead of a black sex screen? fucking horrid.
