VN/TEXT RPG Active NTR [Makura cover soft] Dungeon and Bride

Spoilers never bothered me, and i'm not even here for the ntr!

They have no power over me!

And i'm not even gonna look because i don't even care!

Non-spoiling information is that the marriage thing will be (as the game's title suggest) a big part of the game. The marriage quest line seems to be quite big and impactful.
Some lore things, as we can see in the demo already, are real world things redefined. Like pubic hair visible and pregnant-like nipples as a sign of sex experience (a girl is "used"/"seasoned").

Another thing which is not a spoiler, it is in the DEMO already, look:
After this, the protagonists are unable to stay here in Bravetown for various reasons.
On the way, they meet a veteran adventurer named Schwartz, who leads them on an escapade to a town called Sapphire City.
In the demo version, you start again from the point where you left town to escape your pursuers. From here, aim to reach Sapphire City.
Pursuers, huh?

And finally, the pictures from dev's blog/webpages - in the DEMO we had easy-difficulty INNs...

CAN'T WAIT

I was actually hoping there'd be some visual changes to the character models, not just a stat increase in a log somewhere.

I think some of the earlier demos already showcased what harder Inns would look like. I remember the previous demo where you could visit Amazon tower had more difficult ones than the latest curated demo from last year.

@Xebit if you could translate dev's comments next time too please, I would be extremely grateful. And every potential modder too!

I've read through the prologue story, since it was in a previous version of the demo, although inaccessible in-game (I think the latest demo removed those files).

It's... long. Long and text-heavy, with small amounts of gameplay interspersed. Which should not surprise anyone who has played the dev's earlier games.

I hope we can have an option to turn off dark nipples if that's a thing.

Also i kindof thought the inns were basically just freebie mode in the demos, and i kindof wished the "reserved" rooms would've changed around occasionally.

I just hope we don't even up having the chance of softlocking right out the gate when our team is tagged "beginner" and can't room with dudes and the rooms just don't have enough space, plus somehow the exhaustion lv is above 50 which doesn't let you leave town either. unless we can stable everyone together, i never did try that, because i wanted my spell slots to recover, lol.

Yeah, I've found a file the dev mistakenly shipped with the older demo. And it is quite fishy. I mean, it answers how Theo met Max and how he met Blue. However, the "pursuers" part is fishy. It is cut or/and altered. First of all, they had no reason to flee, they were not "pursued" story-wise. There was no reason for urgency in the leaked file's story. Also, in Seagull village, the demo (artificial) part was about being pursued by [redacted] while non-demo part said nothing about pursuing, they were swimming happily etc. So I expect some surprises anyway.

BUT! What the fuck does the dev think the saves can be carried from the demo? A big part of the story is skipped. Players continuing the game will probably not know where Blue come from and whats is his relation to MC and Max. When I read this statement I was surprised, it does not make sense. The demo is not a "clean cut".
I advise everyone - do not carry any save, play from the beginning in the final version. Btw. I botched classes anyway, so my party is far from optimal anyway.

EDIT: It looks like the import save feature imports characters and items (only). I did not check enough :(

How to load trial version characters
You can load the characters [and items] you trained in the trial version and use them in this game.
To use this function, copy the trial save data (the file named "data○○.bmp" in the savedata folder) into the savedata folder of the full version of the game, select that save data on the next screen, and then select Load.

I agree. I never understood why people were so eager to carry over the saves, when the narrated bits in the demo imply content is supposed to go there.

Also who knows what unique missables or rare items (not necessarrily strong) might be in that section, might just be diddling in a house or on the way, but there might be some dinky ass weapon or armor pieces that has some ass 1% drop chance. Or some goofy ass face someone makes that you screenshot end up using for a reaction image for years afterwards...

I wonder if the game will feature the NTR genre staple:
- Intervene
- Believe in girl

Been a bit on an NTR binge recently and couldn't help but notice that every game has this trope hahaha. Perhaps people who played Leanne can tell if this author used it as well.

Guess I'm not sure what trope you're referring to. Like, you have to trust the girl at some point in order to avoid NTR?

Sounds like you're talking about another demo release. The older demo I looked at had the full prologue text in it (well, up to Sapphire City) and explained the "pursuers" as well as why Theo/Max had to flee.

In my opinion, the carried over save file will either be
- an incorrect/not-precise statement ( perhaps the dev was referring to something else? )
- or will be full of bugs/inconsistent data
or it might actually works flawlessly, though considering how the game have been developing over the years... yeah...
Anyway, good thing I don't have powerful memories (sadly), I can relive a somewhat fresh feels replaying this game after about a year away from it.

ok, it is about characters and items only it looks like...

Release 211, data\scnenario\main02.scn? The dev realized mistake and released patch with this file 6 bytes long ;)
EDIT:I've read it again. Hmm, the "pursuers" are not pursuers. They may be back to the city, that's all. No info on them trying to find MC's party - a contrary. And in Seagull village there is modified file indicating the "pursuit" thing is DEMO only...

A lot of NTR games feature the trope where the girl is alone with antagonist in a "dangerous" situation and the Male MC is given two options: intervene and rescue the girl, or don't (and go further down the NTR route).
Most of the times when you pick the NTR route, the MC will say something along the lines of "I choose to believe in <girl>". (which obviously results in total failure)

Yeah, but in most Makura's games NTR is...

Well, ask yourself guys. Who: is taller, has broader chest, more muscle, has bigger penis, bangs other women (especially your beloved one), has more money, is more manly, acts more like a man, etc.?
Yes, your father was. Makura's games touch that topic indirectly, metaphorically (Leane1/2, DnB) and directly in some older game I will not mention...

I wonder if those small icons were dropped during the development or are reserved for the full version.

they look like they correspond to the room letter, number of people in said room, and which gender, which probably was dropped to simplify the inn-shenanigans to deal with in the demo. I'll bet they're changed to something else on the full vers, because it looks kiiiiiind of cluttered on the character portrait.

I also get the feeling that keeping up with all of those variables is what will make inn stays tougher, and might not actually restrict where you can put people, but instead lower their loyalty to the group, since that never really got messed with if you avoided losing anyone to a rival group, afaik.

Do you know what is written next to Blue's portrait?
BTW. Loyalty is de-facto always 100 for me. AFAIK it goes up by 1 every time a battle is won with given NPC in the team (it is easy to win ~100 any battles). And drops gradually in case of NPC not in the team.

Top: Blue's Happiness (or "Love", it changes every time it translates again)
Bottom: Conditions: No men allowed in the same room, 2 people or less, A class or above
