Mei-Lien and her slimes rushed forward, and she quickly set upon one of the weaker looking soldiers who was running for his weapon. He didn't stand a chance, and she easily subdued him and smashed his head in against one of the nearby bedposts. As his body slumped to the ground the battle began to rage all around Mei-Lien, some of the men having recovered their weapons, a few having been caught up to by the slimes before getting there. Of note to Mei-Lien was the man who was being double-teamed at the end of the barracks, who seemed to be handling the two slimes rather well. From his dress the demon could tell that he was the commander of the group, and was probably quite skilled.

Having caught the group of men by surprise, Mei set upon ome of them while the rest were still reacting to the sudden invasion. With the slimes zipping past her to engage the others, the redhead easily overwhelmed her unready adversary, a fierce punch to the gut knocking him sprawling. Before he could get up properly, shre had grabbed the back of his head and introduced it to a bedpost up close and personal. Letting the unfortunate guy fall to the ground, she turned attention towards the chaotic hassle of a fight happening inside the outpost. Singling out the person who seemed to be the commander, she beelined towards him in an effort to bring the fight to him.

Mei-Lien's initial rush proved fruitless, as the man swung his sword such that she could barely avoid it, much less continue her attack. The slimes attacked him, having some difficulty getting through his impressive defenses. Still, eventually one of them did, engulfing his legs briefly before he slashed into it. At the same time, his focus on the slime allowed Mei-Lien to give him a harsh blow to the head, but he seemed far more resilient than most of the soldiers she'd fought so far, and barely flinched at her punch. Just as he was about to turn his attention to the demon, the slimes attacked him again, engulfing him once more for a short time before being slashed off of him. "Damned worthless subordinates" he cursed, barely audible as he watched his men fumble around incompetently against the slimes.

The entry attack against the outpost commander was pretty useless, his sword swishing about far too dangerously to enable the redhead any real openings. But the slime helpers were up to the task of distracting him, allowing at least one strike to go through. After hearing the man swear at his troops, the demoness continued her attack relentlessly. The combat was at it's early stages, and she had the energy and daring to keep up the assault on this person.

The commander quickly slashed at the weaker of the two slimes, cutting it easily, though he also took another right hook to the cheek from Mei-Lien for his troubles. Soon the more badly weakened slime engulfed him again, and he easily chopped it away, leaving it to squirm back, significantly smaller than it had once been. Mei-Lien didn't let up, landing a left hook this time, as the soldier took another hit from the slime and chopped it away, hopping back until his back was against the wall. He was starting to look tired now, and his subordinates were faring quite poorly at the same time. There was a fire in his eyes, though, and he took a deep breath as he looked to Mei-Lien. "I'll defeat you yet, demon. You and these worthless slimes of yours."

The commander person showed clearly that he had skills to manage himself, even in a battle against multiple opponents. Still, Mei's hit and run tactics proved to be frustrating, causing him to make mistakes and leave wide openings for the fighter and her gooey allies. After taking a few good strikes and slimings, he began to get seriously pissed. "Getting serious now? Should have done that from the start..." the redhead taunted her opponent, feeling a modicum of dissappointment about his half-hearted initial approach.

The commander was silent as Mei-Lien attacked him, and with a swift move he cut open the underside of her arm. The stronger of the slimes made up for the demon's inability to hit, engulfing the soldier up to his knees, but was quickly slashed away, and with Mei-Lien's next attack the commander rushed forward and cut her stomach, rolling away to slice the weaker of the slimes, which exploded into smaller pieces much like the one at the earlier barracks had. Before the commander could get up Mei-Lien kicked him hard in his side, causing him to cringe as he quickly slashed the remaining slime two times fast, forcing it to back away as he got up. He looked tired, but then again, so did the remaining slime, and he had been very successful defensively. It seemed that Mei-Lien would only have to stall to win, though, as it was becoming apparent that the other soldiers were going to be overwhelmed by the slimes in time.

It really did look like the man was only now fighting to the best of his ability, his defenses keeping the three attackers at bay pretty nicely. But even with his rage mode on, he was not completely able to prevent them from harming him, his focus being too much on Mei. Regardless, the demoness had now acquired two cuts on her form thanks to his strenght. With a slime gone, it became apparent to the redhead that she might be able to make this easier by stalling further. Ignoring her wounds, she opted to grapple the man and delay the fight even better if at all possible.

Mei-Lien rushed forward and grappled the unsuspecting commander, who seemed to be thrown off by it significantly. He still managed to cut her, with a slash strong enough that it cut through the chainmail on her shoulders, and then he stabbed into her gut, shallowly enough not to cause serious damage only because she was able to jump away a sufficient amount at the last possible second. He was forced to focus too much attention on her, however, and the slime came at his knees, draining him of the last of his energy. "Dammit" he muttered as he slumped into the slime's embrace.

For her part, Mei-Lien was fairly badly injured, dripping blood from her shoulder, arms, and stomach. Any more and the man might have actually managed to kill her. The other soldiers were obviously less competent, and the slimes were finishing up with them as Mei-Lien looked on. A few of the soldiers seemed to be unconscious, a few were actually being raped by the slimes, probably for healing purposes, while there were only two who were still holding on, just barely. Mei-Lien could go and help the slimes with those last two, or she could begin healing the couple of slimes that had fallen in battle, using the blood of the soldiers, or heal herself by draining one of their souls. Or something else.

Despite the almost grave mistake of grappling the commanding officer of the outpost and his rather sharp sword, Mei's slime underling carried them through with success, burying the man into it's mass after he collapsed. "Good job, once again..." she commented to the slime as it went about doing whatever with the drained person. It was likely not the same slime as the previous one to be complimented, but she still said it.

Bleeding, the martial artist analyzed the situation. The slimes would surely bring the combat to a finish, making her participation mostly unncessary. The cuts on her splendid form still bothered the redhead, but she would eventually start healing. Unsheathing her blade, Mei would give the few scattered slimes their needed blood.

The slime wiggled around when Mei-Lien complimented it, and began to dissolve the commander's clothing as Mei-Lien went around. There were two slimes who had been severely injured, including the one that had fought with her, so she would only have to slit the throats of two unconscious soldiers in order to restore them. As she did, the final two soldiers were finished off in a corner, and some of the slimes began to rape them, likely with the intent to heal themselves with the soldiers' seed. For her part, Mei-Lien's improved healing factor began to work its magic, and soon enough all but her most severe wounds were closed up as if they had never been there. There was still work to be done, though; there were 5 soldiers who were unaccounted for still.

With her selected action bringing in pretty much the results she had wanted, Mei was satisfied. She was firmly on the healthy side once more, as were the slimes after having taken their needed nutrients from the soldiery. Knife still in hand, she poked each of the remaining guards to their deaths, cutting their arteries in cold blood. With them taken care of, the redhead would start looking about the inside to the house, in case there was something noteworthy around.

Mei-Lien quickly killed off the remaining soldiers who weren't being raped, and then went about searching the room. She would find that there wasn't much of value there. Besides the 15 beds lined up along either side of the room, there were really just personal items for the soldiers. Trinkets and things from home mostly, though there was also food and candies and things in some of their places. There were surprisingly few papers, and no written orders that she could find, though at the table where they had been gambling she would find a lot of coins, probably their wages that they were gambling away with each other.

"Hmph. Nothing I should care about too much in here, damned soldiers..." the demoness remarked about the collection of random materials and personal belongings strewn about. Not bothering to pick anything up, she noticed that they were likely missing a few soldiers. There had been the two outside, along with the nine guys here. 15 beds equated for four yet to receive her attention. Leaving the slimes to finish their necessary rapes, she went to the door and waited for Rosa to come down. When she did, Mei would inquire her about what to do next. Maybe she would have to stage an ambush, or maybe they were done, who knew.

Rosa soon flew down from the top of the doorway to Mei-Lien's shoulder and perched, giving her a look and a quiet caw. "I'm not certain where the others are. Perhaps in what passes for 'town' around here. It would be unwise to let them be. You should probably wait and ambush them as they come back, though you do have other options I suppose. I'm surprised it took you so little time, these soldiers must have been more pushover-ish than I thought" she "said" with her mind, perched silently on the demon's shoulder and peering forward expectantly.

"Hmh, I think it's the best thing to do." Mei remarked back at the shifter's thoughts. Seeing it best to stage the ambush with some degree of carefulness, she went over to the back, dragging one dead soldier into the house then going back for the other. It might have been an early warning for the returning soldiers if she did leave them. "Once you've finished your business with them, get over to the ceiling if you can. Once the soldiers come in, drop down and block their escape so we can finish this assigment properly." the redhead instructed her "squad", eventually settling herself into some hiding spot near the door. When the inhabitants did return, there would be a nasty surprise waiting.

As Mei-Lien went back into the barracks, Rosa fluttered back up to the roof of the barracks, perching and idly waiting for the end of the mission. The slimes seemed to acknowledge her, the ones that were fine oozing over to the walls and going up to the ceiling, oozing their way just in front of the door, so that some of them could drop and block it, and others could drop onto the soldiers themselves once they crossed the threshold. The slimes that were raping the men finished up with them in due time, and Mei-Lien went around and slashed all of their necks as well, leaving them to bleed out swiftly and quietly all over the floor. She then settled in to hide near the door, and wait for the next opponents.

It took a little while for the five remaining soldiers to get there, and their arrival was signaled by Rosa's cawing. They walked into the room casually talking, holding what looked to be groceries in their arms, until for the briefest of moments they noticed that the floor of their home was slippery and stained with blood... The next moment there were slimes behind them, in front of them, and on top of them, as Mei-Lien's slime soldiers dropped down and engulfed their upper bodies instantly. They fight was already all but over, as the men were drastically unprepared and outnumbered, and the demon could probably just allow the slimes to choke the soldiers to death as it was and then go home.

The ambush proved to be especially effective, all of the soldiers getting right into a huge mess of slime all around due to their unprepared state. Making sure that the engulfed bodies had passed away after the slimes finished with their fun, the redhead would start leading the group back towards their castle home. Thier task here was done, so no further need for dallying around.

The slimes quickly choked the struggling soldiers to death, putting a final end to the barracks. With that, Mei-Lien and the slimes quickly began their journey back to the castle, led by the flying Rosa. It was starting to get fairly late, as they had waited on the last few soldiers for a while. A couple of hours into their trip the sun set, giving the sky and the country around them a rather pretty pinkish glow for a while, and also necessitating that Rosa come down to the ground and walk in her usual form so that Mei-Lien could still see her as she guided the group. Finally they reached the castle, well after dark, to find Hannah standing out waiting for them. It had gotten somewhat chilly, and the young mage was, of course, naked as she waited, and she seemed to be shivering somewhat as she gazed into the darkness. When she caught sight of Mei-Lien, though, her eyes lit up, and she ran forward to hug the demon as hard as she could, saying "Mei-Lien... I'm glad you're back, I was getting worried. It's after dark even" as she nestled her head into the redhead's cleavage humorously, that being just the natural place her head rested when hugging Mei-Lien since her height gain.

The trek back through the wilderness was just as long as it had been during their coming trip, both physically and mentally, though the slight joy of achievement lightened Mei's stride through the forests and hills. Eventually the darkness was too much for her, necessitating Rosa's normal for for guidance. This was alright to the martial artist demon, for the shifter did not seem as distant when she was there next to her. The slimes, for their part, kept up admirably.

The whole group reached the home fort only after dark had settled in, Mei finding Hannah waiting. The two of them glomped as was usual. "Yeah, it took us a while. We had to wait out an ambush on the other part of the opposition since they were away. But let's get inside, you can ask more then. You'll catch a cold like that." she remarked at the mage, prodding her inside.
