Mei-Lien cautiously edged towards the spider, trying not to startle it until she was in range to lunge and attempt to grapple with it. She got her hands on it, but couldn't get a good grip, and the spider skittered under the bed again, out of reach. Hannah then launched a few fireballs under that bed and the one next to it, hoping to either hit a spider or smoke them out into the open so Mei-Lien could deal with them. It worked to some extent, as another spider ran out from under the bed she had attacked. The two spiders out in the open quickly shot webbing at Mei-Lien and Hannah, but both were able to dodge out of the way. The process repeats then, with Mei-Lien attacking one of the spiders out in the open only to miss and have them all run back under a bed, with Hannah then smoking them back out into the open with a pair of fireballs. The spiders then launched more webbing at the two of them; Mei-Lien is able to dodge, but Hannah is caught by surprise by a third spider behind her, and the webbing begins to entrap her legs.

"Grrgh, slippery bastard..." Mei growled as the spider slipped her hands and retreated further back under the bed. Hannah tried to hit the arachnid under the bed, not hitting it but getting it out into the open along with another. After deftly evading some web shots, the fighter tried to give one of the critters a low football-style kick, but only managed to lightly tap it on it's carapace before it scurried back under the bed. Dammit... three?" she cursed as another web spray was evaded but Hannah got surprised by one coming from behind.

If the third one was in the open, Mei would attack it, otherwise continuing her attempts the pull away the critters from their hiding spots like before.

Mei-Lien ran at the nearest spider and tried to kick it like before, but it was too fast for her as it skittered toward the bed. It wasn't too fast for Hannah's fireball, however, and it let out a strange hissing sound as its insides liquefied in the heat. However, one of the other remaining spiders managed to shoot webbing onto Mei-Lien's legs, as still another as yet unseen spider managed to give Hannah a thorough webbing, her arms and legs fully restrained by the web. "Another one!? Ahhhhh, Mei-Lien, I can't move, help!" she cried out, and the fighter trudged her way over to where Hannah was stuck in place, managing to rip the webbing off her arms at least, allowing the mage to fling a fireball at a spider that was too incautious, burning and killing it. The two then managed to dodge more incoming webs, despite their legs being partially webbed and sticky.

Another evaded kick later, the surprise spider had retreated under a bed once more to keep away from Mei's reach. Hannah's fireball could get to it though, burning it alive fast. The former champion was webbed in her feet lightly, but the mage wasn't as lucky as another surprise spider caught her rather severely. Despite the sticky webbing in her feet, the fighter made her way towards Hannah and ripped her free with a few quick tears at the restraining webbing before the mage burned another spider with her second fireball.

Despite the webbing hampering her movement, Mei managed to dodge the spray aimed at her, Hannah following suit. The situation called for a quick solution, and Mei didn't really have a new one in mind, so she kept up her previous plan, despite the slight interference from the webs.

Hannah shoots off another fireball, which just barely misses the spider which had webbed her so badly last time. This forces it out from its hiding place, allowing Mei-Lien a crack at it, but it's too fast for her, and dodges out of the way to web Hannah again; while she can't dodge completely, she does manage to keep one of her arms free from the webbing. Another spider misses Mei-Lien, who rushes forward and stomps on the one that's given Hannah so much trouble, crushing its head beneath her foot easily despite its size. In the meantime, Hannah tries desperately to claw her way out of the webbing, but doesn't succeed. Another round of webbing shoots out from under the bed, and Mei-Lien finds one of her arms bound to her side as she's webbed from an angle she doesn't expect, and despite her limited options, Hannah manages to dodge the incoming webbing by flinging herself to the ground. They're not beaten yet, but things are looking grim, as they're badly webbed and not even sure how many enemies there are yet to face.

With Hannah's fireball getting one spider in the open, Mei takes a shot at it but ultimately fails as the sticky threads on her slow the fighter down just enough for it to evade. The mage gets more webbing on her, but still manages to prevent a second complete restraint as Mei dodges another gout aimed at her. Now mustering enough speed to reach her target, the redhead breaks up the arachnid's stride as her strong leg descends upon it, completely obliterating the thing's head with a crushing foot. Not a moment later, her other arm is pinned against her side as a surprise once again comes from an unexpected direction. "Grrrrh, just how many.. are there?" she curses, trying to get away from the webbing before moving back to the attack in case there was an opportunity.

Mei-Lien and Hannah try to pull themselves free of the webbing that partially encases them, both managing to succeed in the task, though Mei-Lien is hit by another glob of webbing, putting her right back where she started. Still, she's also able to get herself free of this newest webbing, and Hannah manages to make another spider burst into flame, and both of them dodge the webbing that shoot at them; all in all, a very successful round of combat. "Alright, we can do this."

After tearing and tearing again, Mei partially frees herself from the sticky strands trying to wear her down. Once Hannah fries another spider, the situation is starting to look a bit better. "Don't go celebrating yet though. This can still go both ways.." the fighter replied to the mage's optimistic remark, moving back to the attack as she wasn't too tightly restrained anymore.

Mei-Lien attacks the nearest spider, but it ducks back under a bed, and Hannah can't connect against it with a fireball. More webbing shoots out from under another of the beds, and Mei-Lien is just able to dodge it, though Hannah is hit in the back, trapping one of her arms. As a spider scuttled forth toward the mage, Mei-Lien is able to kick it hard against a bedpost, squishing it between the wood and her foot, and then deftly avoiding the next shot of webbing, though Hannah is trapped up against the bed and webbed to the bedpost, unable to move. "Not again... I'm sorry, please help" she called out, squirming against the web. The two can tell that they're thinning out the number of spiders significantly, and if they can just get Hannah free and avoid being webbed more, they'll probably win this.

Both girls fail to connect with their attacks as a sneaky spider hurries back under the bed to hide from Mei's crushing feet. While Hannah gets some more webbing on her, the redhead moves forward to avoid another spray aimed at her before crushing the spider scurrying towards Hannah against a bed. As the arachnid expired, Mei leaned her body backwards to avoid another attack aimed at her before finding the mage at the web's mercy again, this time glued to a bedpost. "Right, I'm moving over!" she said, reaching towards Hannah to free her and move back on the attack aferwards.

Mei-Lien tried to rip Hannah free of the webbing as the mage struggled, but the stuff was too strong; she was trapped to the bedpost. This allowed one of the spiders to come out from under the bed and sink its fangs into her leg, as another leaped from across the room to land on her and bit her in the shoulder. "RRRRRRGH, GET OFF!" the fighter roared out her frustration at the webbing, as she couldn't tear it away despite her best efforts. After the two bites on her, Hannah opted to sit the rest of the battle out, clearly too flustered and aroused to be of any use. "Right.. I'll do this by myself..." grabbing the arachnid from the mage's shoulder and quickly crushing the thing with her powerful grip. With spider blood still dripping down her hands, Mei dodged one web but got stuck to another, almost sticking her next to Hannah. "Oh no you don't..." she though, tearing away at her own webbings and moving back to the attack in case she got the stuff off from her.

Mei-Lien manages to pull the webbing off her arm, and the next spider to try and web her gets a bit too close, falling victim to her crushing foot. As her upper body is webbed again, she can see that there are only four spiders left; she can still beat them all, but she'll need a little bit of luck and a lot of dodging skill. She breaks free from the sticky webbing again only to be hit with another glob of the stuff, prompting her to struggle fruitlessly against the webbing for a few more minutes of combat, furiously dodging until she's finally brought down, a bit of webbing trapping both her arms against her sides. She struggles a bit more in vain until the spiders slowly crawl over to her, sinking their fangs into her body and pumping her full of an extremely potent aphrodisiac; almost instantly she feels as aroused as she's ever been, perhaps more-so.

"Probably not. But these things don't happen for no reason... It might be related to what we found in the room opposite this one..." Hannah replied quietly, a little bit shaken as she slowly backed out of the room. "Let's get out of this building, I don't feel comfortable here anymore."

"Hmmm, that corpse pile might indeed have something to do with this. Could be some heretical practise. But I don't really care.." Mei replied, accepting Hannah's suggestion after doing a brief search around the room.
