I really need to write something again. But...where would I post it, exactly? My blog would be the obvious choice. But then it would be kind of redundant to post it here, too. And making a new topic for just a link to my own blog wouldn't feel quite right. And I couldn't really dig a random topic to post the link to, either.
Oh and by the way: My blog is still alive. It's just that because I'm really bad with deadlines the project sort of collapsed. Right now I have three half-made posts and I need to finish writing about the economics.

Well, you have the link to your blog in your signature, so there's that. And no one really says you have to post a lot all the time. I mean, hades, I know the writing bug comes and goes with me (and it's been camped out in my brain a lot lately.) As for where to put things up, it's up to you. You've got the link in your signature and maybe a MA now and again if you do a massive update so folks can check. Or, space on the internet is fairly infinite. Posting here and posting there isn't taboo. I post my stories a few places, actually, but usually you guys get first dibs because, scarily enough, I'm comfortable doing so here. All up to you. I mean, make a spot in the Blank Page and dredge it up when you feel like it. Necro-ing there isn't exactly as horrible as the other sections, since creativity takes time.
Oh, and on topic:

I know, I just feel bad about it because I promised myself to post regularly. And it's not that I can't get ideas(hell, designing a world is big enough thing that, if going into details, almost anything can be written about), it's that I can't get them into written form.

You know how I've gotten around designing my own world? By making it al alternate earth. That way I dont have to mess around with geographical shit. Granted, I've still got to come up with the races, lore etc.. but I've pretty much gotten most of that down, my main problem is the writing it down part.

Yeah, the alternate Earth trick works. I've done it a few times myself, even going so far as to keep the current nations of the time period in place.
Also, yeah Hooker you can still put a thread up in the Blank page. Some of my writing is spread around to about 3 different sites.

Nah, I haven't kept our nations, just the general layout of the planet. I am however using real world languages for each of the races. At the moment I've got the Humans with English, the 'true' Elves with Japanese (was Welsh but then that would mean I'd have to change the name of one of my characters to a Welsh female name), the Dark Elves with German, and I'm not sure whether to give the Dwarves Russian or Gaelic. There quite a few other races but for the most part they dont use real world languages as they're based off animals (the mole people and the desert dwelling rat people) and the greater dragons speak most languages anyway.

Well I've had the idea for quite a number of years now, I just haven't got round to typing any of it up. My two characters in SBS, Artemis Wingate and Isabella Greenway are two of my OC's, and even the Anima I've put in SBS is from my world, albeit slightly modified for SBS.

You haven't actually looked at my blog have you? 'Cause making it alternative earth wouldn't help that much. It's not the surface that matters, anyway(although I may have to come up with a map for it eventually, at least for one continent), besides I have more important things to come up with, at the moment. Like figuring out what the minimum unit for money needs to be worth and deriving values for other things.
