since this got bumped. he's not changing her to that chibi form right?
 
I wish he'd do something other than fix the same glitches and tweaks he's been making for the past 5 years or so.

I've read somewhere once, that this is the sign of a game developer suffering from work burnout, and thus there's zero chance of the game being ever finished.
 
Uriel has been working on this since the days toonpimp was popular... well maybe the wrong word but you know what I mean

Shiiit, I used to like Toonpimp's 2d platformers. Somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine, but then the quality started going downhill.

Now we have the extremely shitty 3d games with horrible HORRIBLE animations. Like that Krystal game on his site.

He "MENTIONED" he was working on a full update of the game (since flash was/is dying or something), so he was gonna use the chibi to work on animations or the new program.

Which i doubt ofc, i'm having more hope for other games like "Iris action RPG" which the dev came back, or "Awakening" remake and BUSTERS II (and the dev is working in like 4-5 games) rather than this "game"
 
I was interested in this game back when it was new and standards were lower.

Several years later, it just looks mediocre

The new chibi art is genuine garbage as well, not sure how he managed to go that far downhill but more power to him I guess.

This is one subscription I'm happy to be rid of.
 
He'l never finish it. He's repeatedly refused to accept any form of monetary compensation for his work developing as it would put pressure on him to actually get shit done.
 
At least he's being honest about it instead of scamming people with non-progress. Not much to be done.

Okay, so, nothing is happening with the game and the developer hasn't posted in what? A year? If there is no update or information from the developer being posted, constantly bumping the thread does nothing except drum up false hope and push other, more current stuff to the back of the line.

I'll just shamelessly copy-paste what I wrote in a comment on the latest post (bear in mind the end bit is written as if addressing him directly):

"Ok, I can officially mark this game off as "Dead with no chance to return as a Thriller-dancing zombie." As per usual, the game appeared out of nowhere as a passion project and managed to get a working engine, several animations, monsters, several states for the main character, weapons, guns, a LOT of stuff in a jiffy. Then, a significant Internet following began to form up and the creator went to sleep on the laurels.

Remember how Divine Arms started as a great game and in 2 whole years only added like 3 animations, 3 sketches of animations and called it another year? This is starting to turn into that. Now he'll have the excuse of "Oh, it's taking too long because I'm moving to a new engine."

NONE of this would have happen if you would've tried to finish the game as you originally thought and THEN began to improve it..."

This is the issue of most porn games when developed by one developer or a small group. They either lose interest, either procrastinate since their newly found Internet following will wait and pick up any breadcrumbs they produce, or get greedy and do a Breeding Season on us.

What a time to be alive, complaining about digital porn content...

He posts every few months actually, it's just that he hasn't progressed the game besides bug fixes and reworks since around 2010.

If there is no update or information from the developer being posted, constantly bumping the thread does not except drum up false hope and push other, more current stuff to the back of the line.

Posting every few months isn't "progress." It's an update on his status, yes, but nothing warranting discussion unless a game update or something is involved. Basically, you're all shit-posting in a thread about a game that doesn't receive substantive updates.
