I prefer blood, vore, bad ends, NTR, tentacles, body deformation, corruption of innocence, yuri (preferably non consensual), monster, orc, or bandit gang rape, cannibalism, bestiality, slavery, cruelty, BDSM, and extreme suffering. Come to think of it, I try to dislike nothing, except poorly drawn art. But as a general rule, the more it ruffles my tush, the better. Happy sex in the missionary position? Ugh. Futa more acceptable than tentacles? Maybe here in the West; I honestly have no idea what Westerners are into since I don't really know that many people who are avid hentai fans, and those who are aren't really into hardcore fetishes (at least not publicly).

In its home country of Japan though, Futa and Monster Girls are definitely NOT more acceptable, just look at the contents of hentai doujins, games, and anime released and that should be clear.

Tentacles itself is actually not THAT big in hentai as many Westerners tend to think anyways. I know that most Westerners probably know hentai for its tentacle fetish but tentacle is not nearly as numerous as NTR, fat/old/ugly men, MALE monster rape, and especially harem/"vanilla." Tentacles is a "staple" of hentai though, cuz you won't find it anywhere else, for obvious reasons.



ANYWAYS, as far as non-visual novel hentai games goes, I will usually only enjoy rape and mind break games where you play as a female protagonist. NTR or hentais where the male is not your typical normal or pretty boy guy is my preference.

I really like non realistic things in my hentai like futa and monstergirls, as I view hentai as comical which is why I like it.

Game wise I really lean towards monstergirls and tentacles.

Same here, but for me I find that futa is on a higher scale in terms of how far out things get compared to tents, but that's more of a subjective thing I suppose.

Also, did you mean comical as in the sense of non-realism/cartoons, which for me is why I like monstergirls, monsters and tentacles.

I love revenge stories. An ugly, despised student at a private school hatches a masterful plan to get back at all the bitches that scorned and made fun of him. An uptight warrior wench who casually slaughters orcs and monsters getting her comeuppance at the hands of enemies she used to laugh at. A woman who has been raped and abused, seeks out her violators, before murdering them one by one in a gruesome fashion. The sweet emotion of revenge is probably more satisfying to me than any sexual content in these games. These are the kind of story-lines that tend to cast a warm spell over my heart.

I like it better when a girl becomes wicked and impure, reveling in her newly found sexuality rather than broken and mind-fucked by it.

Quality of the art is of course important, so a lot of things get overlooked because of it. Lack of Japanese language proficiency is a major reason why unfortunately, I can't enjoy eroge as much as I ought, and the best stuff from the darkest pit of imagination hasn't been translated.

Anyway, back on topic, anything is good which is a game, which provides some challenge, thinking, actions and not mindless clicking on screen. And not one of those run or rape games, there are way too much of them and all of them lack gameplay a LOT. Do anyone else agree?

Yeah its surprising for me how futa is so popular on the polls and on some of the other boards that exist. I don't mind it at all for the most part and I'm not turned off of it, but I just don't think too much of it.

A big no-no to the 12 picture games(what's worst, most poorly drawn), where you have to grind thru tons of mobs and walls of text like いく　ああああああ~ ......... (please forgive my no grade jp) to see 1 pic 50% full of squares(censorship) and half buried under aforementioned wall of text.

post scriptum: under ryona i understood heavy ryona(as it is often descripted here), with BDSM, sadism and violence. I don't like that stuff. GoR is fine, but not to that extent. There are some nice futa artworks, manga, 3D movies and games, but i like it not to the extent i put my vote there. Monmusu-style is interesting, but i didn't find any interesting game of that genre, hence i vote for other. My opinion is that this poll is a bit too widely categorized.

You described everything you don't like but nothing you do. From what I understand, you don't like ryona by its popularized meaning, don't like futa as much as most people, and you don't like monster-girl styled games to the same extent.

So... I guess you like normal stuff? What kind of games fits under your preferences that actually have gameplay?

Futa is strange... It's for people who can't stand having the guy in the picture, but still likes seeing huge penises. It's kind of misandric actually.

On a side note:
A lot of things have affected this poll I believe. For instance, a lack of games in one genre causing a permutation in the love for another. I posted this at the same time Affect3D came out with their title. For me personally I was really looking at the enthusiasm of the fans per genre. Ryona voters were pretty much silent, futa lovers were really vocal, MG lovers are... kinda desperate for more stuff to be realeased in that genre, and other people are sad about hardcore stuff.

After playing a lot of ero game, I think I can almost safely I'm unfazed by any kind of weird fetish: guro, insect, pregnancy, you name it.

I still dislike guro or scat though, but everything else is either okay or good.

Favorite game? A lot, kinda hard to make a list of it, so I'll just say what I hate instead:
- Confusing RPGMaker adventure game, especially if you have to backtrack very often.

But if the game is made in RPGMaker but doesn't have RPG or adventure element in it (or very intuitive), I will be very impressed instead. I think there was one where you play the game completely with your mouse, I can't remember what's the name though.

- Platformer with bad mechanics. Fucking hate them with passion. But if the gameplay good, then it's one of my favorite game instead.

When the main character looks too honest and good and reminds me of other heroes (Looking at you Eroico with your Cless x Zero Fusion of a main character, grrrrr, pretty sure it is a coincidence, but it hit me so fast it wasn't funny, music didn't help either, so glad Kyrieru added it to the blog), mainly due to me also liking happy endings ESPECIALLY when they involve two factions tearing each other apart, like in the Monster Quest Series, when losing, I DIDN'T even want to see the rape scene, was like "MUST GET MONSTERS AND HUMANS TO COEXIST!" and Luka's slowly developing character and relationship with Alice just pushed it further.

Can live with it would be...

A lot, would say too much, been playing games for awhile and it's hard to say how much of the stuff is "Eh, it's okay".

Struggle, both ways.

When said struggle is quite punishing, Daughter of Witch does this well, a tower defense type of game with waves, tends to make new enemies appear in the wave that is JUST before the checkpoint wave. So... go ahead, enjoy your rape scene, now restart from the last checkpoint. Although it does make you restart 5 waves, it's impact is not that high 'cuz you can blaze tru waves in that game >.>. This is not to say I enjoy playing 5 minutes of a game to see one rape scene and having to do it all over again to see it again, the game also makes it easier to see the scenes later on since the newer enemies start spawning earlier and earlier, so win-win.

Although, I prefer punishment that doesn't instantly kill you. Those tend to be easily avoidable due to the harsh punishment, and it's more of a "do I let him... or not..." kind of thing. I really liked how in Fairy Fighting certain rapes would literally change your gameplay to a style you have to get out of (like when the Fallen Fairy infects you, or the Bee lays eggs on Tiki). Those are definitely a plus but it's probably obvious these types of settings aren't easy to make, it's like making multiple different rape positions on a RoR game, tends to be quite the time consuming task and labor intensive and why they seem to be rare, on a platformer, this would literally slow down the game's pace to a crawl and it makes sense to not have them, so bosses maybe? This game also features struggles with instant kills, but like I mentioned, super easy to get out of/avoid/see.

I like the struggle in pretty much ALL kinds of ways, you name it. I guess I should say Rape itself, but for me, that's just icing on the cake.

Faved games would be...

Eroico (Don't like the main character look in the ERO sense, but it's definitely an awesome looking MC, makes me wanna go slash stuff up, that also didn't stop me from enjoying the Lizard BJ and the Female Dragon, also, the first enemy is the closest I will probably get to a Felicia in a RoR game, lol. Didn't have much in the struggle department, but it nailed some stuff I really like, reverse rape forced bj from a female lizard in pixels, that's like hitting bingo for me).

Nightmare Sphere (So I heard you like Castlevania and Metroid...).

Vita Escape (That White suit I found on a stage made me jump and feel like I had X's Ultimate Armor).

Every Monster Quest game (THE FRIKKIN' GAME HAS A STRUGGLE command, and Desire Dungeon, was interesting to see a game from a different point of view, sure you get raped, but unlike MQG you don't die in any of the loses, this might be a turn off for some but it was nice seeing "nice" monster girls that could somewhat be involved with the MC. There are "good" monsters in MGQ too, but almost 99% of them require a good old beatdown, some require MULTIPLE beatdowns,hehe Gabriela, didn't like the GoR approach on Desire Dungeon though, prefer the BF system).

Nagai Yamiji (Only thing I felt was a letdown was the 2nd and third boss, it's either tank or GG, unless there is some other way to avoid the 2395818395 things happening on screen).

I would say Kurovadis... but... Eroico kinda overshadowed it for me with the challenging gameplay tru the whole game, whereas Kurovadis becomes a joke the 2nd time you play unless you force it on yourself (lv up wrong stats).

Hound of the Blade (Yay for struggle)
