If I remember correctly, you go right across from where the mage and the cleric are and use one of the beds to go to sleep.

Did you get past this part yet? The city should be dark now and have a soldier right at the entrance who stops you and kicks you out of town if you walk straight in. If you go around him a little bit, you can get into town anyway, but you're not supposed to be able to. Instead, from the spot where you first appear when you enter town, move right and slide along the outside of the town's outer wall. Go north and you'll find a well. Enter the well to find Matilda's old pal who she was looking for at the start of the game, then fight your way through until you're in the palace. The king is asleep, so go into his bedroom and talk to him in there. You should be able to figure out what to do from there.hmmm..Think I need to clarify where in the game I am. Just been on the island fighting the undead boss, that resurrected the old man from the native camp, he teached the cleric how to bring someone back from the dead (fire mage that gor killed by the mimic). went back to the main land, in the forest, at the hut and she resurrected him. guess that took it out of her because she goes to bed and I get teamed up with the fire mage. When I leave for the map again, the red dot is now on the castle. and that is where i'm at.. hope that help you to guide me the correct way. Sorry for the long rant...... and my english
