I haven't read every post regarding the steps people have given for getting the safes to work, so forgive me if I repeat something, but let me try and tell you what worked for me.
First thing when you see the safe, try putting in a 4-digit code. If you're taken to the website, then you're screwed, close the game immediately and open from a save that does NOT do this when you put in a 4 digit code.
If you can put in the code and nothing happens, press the generate code button. If you're running 2.191 then the list isn't going to do much good in lining up the address code with a 4-digit code, but if you're using the save files posted up before, then you can just put in the code it has listed for that save file after pressing the generate code button, this will work for all the save except 3 and 5 (more on that below). If it doesn't work, you can run down the list of codes and punch one in, hit the generate button, punch it in again, and if you're taken to the website again, close the game and move on to the next code.
As for the save files given above. Save 3 was a straight duplicate of save 2, so I had to use the steps I listed above to continue from that point, hence why I know it works. As for save 5, I think it got saved after the generate button was already pressed because it would take me to the website immediately no matter what 4-digit code I put in.
For safe 5 however, I think there was something weird about it. Because the steps above never worked. Any other safe would generate the same code from the same save file making it work, but safe 5 seemed to generate new ones every time no matter what. I finally got it open however, just from a stroke of luck I think, but literally the only steps between it and safe 6 is use pliers on wardrobe key, and use key on cabinet, you're not missing anything, so just skip it and go to save 6.

I can't make it past the very first safe in the nurse's office. ANy ideas guys
