Yeah, I think after this week of Portal of Chaos, i'll be taking a vacation til they do events, and i'm not talking about these increase -nationality- tank "event".

I'd like it if there was a priority system, even if it's simple such as the heavy group prioritize light tanks within their range, medium prioritize medium, tank destroyers prioritize heavy tanks, artillery prioritize tank destroyers, etc. and able to change prioritizes.

So much RNG and waiting in this game. Wait for factory to give you decent tanks using RNG, if not wait some more. Wait for tanks to come back from scouting using RNG to determine what emblem you get (if any) and RNG to determine the rarity, and one more dash of RNG for the inevitable crappy movement speed bonus you'll get on it.

I agree with Overgoat, the maps are not even special. No terrain that impedes both parties (like in actual war?) Like snow/blizzard that reduces range for all units on the field or desert where armor is reduced because of how hot it is. Something like that.

And then the point about going against high level maps, and I believe it's the problem with Portal of Chaos on higher levels. The game doesn't really level with you. In portal of chaos, if it works how I think it works...if you're on lv 30, they would have lv 30 5* and 4* against my measly lv 24 5* some 4* and 1 3*. And if I continue on? lv 32 would pit me against lv 32 5* tanks. You would think you'd be able to beat the portal bracket under your commander level....

the new upgrade they implemented is a step in the right direction...But really only whales can utilize it for how rare it is to get the units you use and how long it takes for factory RNG to decide if you'll even get one of the same units.

Art's pretty nice to me personally, but the adult content is as barren as my want to "compete" in portal of chaos. They need to put more h-spots on the map and before coming out with girls only whales will get, or do both.

Taking a phone game and adding a few lewds won't instantly make it a godly game. Either cringe through it or just drop the game altogether, it won't change radically in the next months just to please us and make us happy to play it. :cool:

Indeed, and for what it's worth in the short amount of time it pleased me better than Over-xrd, Phantasma, and Kamihime - to some extent. Personally, it just shows how starved I am for an at least decent adult game. And Portal is "technically" still in "beta."

Just have to wait until it comes along some more.

At least you guys are past the final battle of Maunis.

I'm like.. i can't even think of a way to beat it and ... what's more the enemy AI can field duplicates of same tank.. I think i'm seeing tons of KV-1s in that fight. They spawn and tank me then their "lieutenant" shoot my tanks to pieces and then I lose.

I got jewed again, My KV-1 which was shooting at the last crystal got chain stunned by two hetzers on her.

Then like 6+ enemy tanks came charging out at once and beat me up.

Well if I do need more pen then i need more emblems and hope I get lucky with emblems because only few of my tanks have very good pens, and then the rest of them have no pen at all. Might take me few more weeks at most.

you could always buy su-152. not that should, but you could.

if you're close to 3k bp and awaiting any certain unit in shop like me, 250 is a short setback that can be made up before shop reset.

Smiled a bit at the 'few lewds' part in Omni's post, but set some thoughts going,
Taking the time, I did a quick count (using gatcha page)

5 of the 5* lacks scenes.
27 of the 4* lacks scenes

So that's 32 tanks assuming all 4*/5* should have scenes (likely skipped some etc. was a quick count).

If we ambitiously assume 2 tanks delivered a week in addition to all else (ultra optimistic, but go with it for a moment).

That would give about 32/2 = 16 weeks to buff out the current roster of 4*/5* tanks in the game (under the assumptions, obviously going to take more time, short of a major effort).
(The game actually teases scenes for all tanks, since all have relationships pages, but that moves into the somewhat absurd in terms of timeline. So skipping that)

By comparison the game has 27 4*/5* tanks with Scenes. So it lacks more 4*/5* tanks with scenes that it has with scenes currently (again assuming all 4*/5* should have scenes).

Edit : And just for the heck of it since there is 30 mins until I need to travel to work ;) I always was curious about the poster girls on either side of the game screen :)

So looking at the "Poster girls", the 8 on the game page. From top left to Right.

4* Asami (Type 5) : No Scene (have her, annoyed :))
5* Zoya (S-51) : No Scene (odd, as the game page uses her affection graphics, maybe mistake in gatcha list that she has no heart?)
4* Tabby (Tiger) : Scene
5* Nadia (T34-100) : Scene

5* Claudia (E-100) : No Scene (oddly enough the two poster girls placed at the top of each side have no scenes, curious placement, maybe simply copy from mobile version?)
4* Felicia (Sherman Easy) : Scene
5* Isabel (Maus) : Scene
5* Alyona (IS-3) : Scene

Used this : for checking and simply looked at gatcha if they had a heart next to them.

Note : Went a bit quick. So bear with any mistakes. And it is for info. No bashing involved. I was curious about 'scenes' to 'no scenes' and the 'poster girls' and decided to look it up.

(Also having browsed the lists, many that need a touch up in arts, imo, but I do feel an urge to pick up the Sarah, Super Pershing, for some reason, for game mechanical reasons of course *cough* :D)

I've got no issue with the challenge curve. Just gotta grind a bit more and try out different strategies and unit/emblem combos. RNG at least makes it a bit interesting, rather than just spamming the same unit lineup. Game is certainly lacking in some areas, but nothing to blow a fuckin' gasket over. Premium content definitely needs some massive rework if they want anybody spending any money on it. I don't mind the portal at all. Maybe have a "quick-click to next level" to make the grind less time-consuming. Non-portal stuff could definitely use an auto-complete. Maybe unlock auto-complete if the player has beat a challenge version of the level... or cleared it 5x or something. Content is also coming in a bit slow compared to other games in its class. But it's still early. Plenty of room for growth, and the updates have all been fairly meaningful.

I must profess myself perplexed with the notions of new and early seen a few times in the forum.

Do not believe early/new applies. It is an established mobile game that has been migrated to a different platform in the same manner a game on PS4 is migrated to PC.

Yes, lots of work done in doing so, code, graphics, control scheme etc. but it is still at the core the same game. Better, bigger, shinier etc. But at the end of the day it is Armor Blitz adult version viz. Armor Blitz Mobile version.

I would assume that the only truly new/early instead of migrated/converted part is the adult content (I assume the Android version didn't have that). And (parts of) that is also based on the old core not truly new.

Ex. take the SturmTiger 5* current in the research for 3000 blueprints.


Its original art is from 1 april 2015 and the card graphic seem largely the same. (Note. that is alpha content. Game launch seems to be Nov 2016)

The game initiates its art rework in March 2016.


Most of which makes it into the Android and Nutaku versions and is now the live versions there. Again what we see is based off that, not new/early.
Same for portal and so on and so forth.

It is new on Nutaku and Adult. yes. But that is itself, an established market with plenty of examples, not a new market being pioneered blind and in the dark. So games are supposed to perform from the day going live. Day 1. Not Day x.

However, agree with the positives people list, such as potential, growth, dedicated team etc. :) But not for any new/early reason, which are entirely invalid (my opinion of course, others will likely differ a lot should they hold to the pre/post Nutaku as an absolute line of separation, which I do not).

But simply due to not seeing a Nutaku competitor for a game of this particular type, that the team seems dedicated and friendly, and that the missing art and events if nothing else leaves open the option of performing good, contrary to if it existed and was bad. But that's also catch. Missing means more performance needed, playing catch-up. Because not having the things will catch up to one too.

Edit : I simply got annoyed over time and this was the drop that annoyed me enough to write out some thoughts. The post should not be viewed as an attack on anyone nor the game, because it is not. I just take exception with the new/early concept itself for items that at times are upwards of an year old.

Spam aside,

Would suggest game removed romance from 1*, 2* and 3* tiers since delivery of that for those units seem unrealistic given the time required to fill out existing 5* and 4*. (ref. my prior post about art post #448)

Could then leave the upgrade part independent of romance level for 1* to 3* and make it cheaper too, so that people could upgrade their 1*, 2* and 3*'s cheaply to get more mileage out of them.

In terms of art, getting the Poster girls done should probably be prioritized together with new event girls followed by the existing 5* and then 4*. Poster girls listed high because if they are poster girls in an adult game, then obviously they have art and scenes to, which 3 of 8 do not have currently.

In addition to this updating girls on a bi-weekly cycle would be nice too, some really need it (The SturmTiger from the research section could stand to lose the crotch armor and get some new hotpants and maybe fill that breastplate a bit (lot!) more out, she is supposed to be a extra heavy tank after all, all that weight should go somewhere *cough* :)).

Right, so as I mentioned before about spamming Angora to level, I now have an example.

I kept a Renault in my party as I did portal for past few days. Got her to around level 26 then started feeding copies to her from Angora.

So here's some pictures to show how effective it is.

Anyways rather informative post o.o Now i have a reason to keep all those 1* and 2* fodders.

Isn't that still result with 70% exp loss, as fodder only provides a 30% of its accumulated XP?
Or +20% to the next level for identical fodder saves enough experience in raising base 1* for feeding resulting base to your actual unit to be net positive instead of negative?

Like I said, I raised it to 26 through portal before I started feeding it copies. Once you reach 20% every 5 copies gives you 1.2 levels.

Angora 1 always drops Renault, and it's only 34 oil per run. So it should technically be a net positive no matter what.

If for example, we say that I start combining renaults at 26 like I did. It'd take approxmately 3500 oil to make her level 50.

First you have the exp to oil ratio for the stage

Angora 1 has a 3.47 exp to oil ratio

The most exp efficient normal stage gives 5.06 exp to oil.

The exp to oil ratio of the combined Renaults, if you start combining at level 26, should be approximately 4.97, and since you're also doing Angora along with this it should give you a total of about a 8.4 exp to oil ratio.

The ratio improves the higher you get renault before combining copies as well.

That would be nice, but using the game's actual delivery history on Android and Nutaku as an measurement of when that would happen and taking into account, the delivery mix of,

- New units (some of which lack scenes too, the 4-Star, M8 Scott, Mila released July 25th does not have a scene)
- Units being brushed up
- those lacking scenes of higher rank (that would be 32 tanks of 4* and 5*)

Then we are around Summer 2018 (unless something rather dramatic changes or they decide to run some 3*s just for the fun of it etc. etc.) before the 3*s start rolling out.

So basically spend some hours shelling Angora Level 1 commander for duplicates (at two shells pr. enemy commander kill)
Collect 100+ Renaults to join up on an already levelled unit of the same type. The higher the better. And feed to a unit of choice once done.

Boring and brilliant at the same time :). Boring because same and lvl1 no challenge map, but brilliant use of game mechanic if grinding for level. And a lifesaver too, I suppose, if anyone out there is crazy enough to try to max a 5* at 8.7 mio xp.

Just something I found as I did this (angora running) last weekend myself just to see what it was all about. For me i found it wasn't worth doing overall. It can be useful to try to catch a brand new unit up sure, but if you have multiples or want to get just one unit high quickly, you're probably gonna be disappointed.

I found the oil amount to be higher though I did start from level 1 with her. Had 1 on the team, put 1 in her each time till she reached 20 % growth rate then fed normally. Was just over 5k oil. Not efficient unless she's leveled a bit, which isn't something I am after.

At any rate, found it too be a bit too tedious to be worth it. A 5* that was level 16, only got to 23. From 23 only went up to 27. In the upper 30's you could feed one, and wont even gain a level most likely.

The bottom line:

Pros:
-You can level a new unit fairly easily to get them into the 20-30 range, lower rarity will see better gains.
-It's easy to do. Tab in and out while watching a show or something.
-Risk is negligible, even if you were to start and tab to another forgetting that a fight is starting, it will take them forever to kill your commander if she's in the 30's or higher, and even if you did some how loose you didn't loose enough oil for one run to matter.
-Can be done over a very long amount of time, or as often as desired.

Cons:
-Mind numbingly boring. Not something you want to try and do all in one sitting.
-Your other team members are getting negligible XP. In my case using 5kish oil, that was 5kish that didn't get used on any unit but the one. Multiply that by 15, and you get the idea. Even just using White North as a baseline, that's 1200XP x15(units) x22 runs. Is a fair shake of xp (26k xp each) the other units just didn't see.

Guess the question is, was it a bug or not, or will it be nerfed. Either way I don't think it would be worth nerfing as I like that the option is there, I just feel over all it isn't worth short staffing your other units unless you really need what that new unit does to be at a level comparable with you already built up units.

Tried it a few times, will not revisit.

I got a big problem now.

My 100 loyalty points gave me a Jagdpanther which I hate.

Wanted Claudia. -.-

And for 50$ I got 300+ blueprints. Nothing worth. This game is bad. Well at least I got few new 4*s I didn't have before but that's about it.

But.. ... ... The 100 loyalty point tank makes me feel like I got insulted.

I'm never happy when I drop money on this game -.- Cannot recommend to other people to play this game. Eitherway I"m done spending for this game I'm tired of being punished for spending money.

yup

~Duplicate Upgrading boost modified to remove the immediate % XP bonus. Instead, the lifetime exp Boost % has an increased cap, and scaled with unit tier. The total cap for Boost % is raised from 20% -> 30%.

T1 Duplicate = +1% (30 to max)
T2 Duplicate = +1.5% (20 to max)
T3 Duplicate = +2% (15 to max)
T4 Duplicate = +6% (5 to max)
T5 Duplicate = +10% (3 to max)
