Well I just learned that its possible to lose ur whole army and still win as long as you kill the enemy before they can kill you.

Final line of Maunis, it came down to just Type 59 and Sem 75/18 Maria. Then it was just Maria and the boss with very little bit of boss' health left and Maria managed to land that killing blow just before the boss did.

And I had an bad start in that battle, I didn't think the hetzer was that fast, it charged across the map and nailed my S-51 but the S-51 took the hetzer down with her in return.

Supposedly the first event is not planned until Halloween (which would put it 2 months away from now) and will be a redesigned event from mobile version.



Assuming that is correct (and picked up from Discord it seems),

- Not sure that's a good time frame to run with in all honesty, slow, PoC pulling this alone for two more months does not seem the best of ideas ...
- Redesign from mobile version, hm, could go either way, but am partial to grabbing what works on adult platforms not the other way round.

Oh they going to redesign halloween event? Prob gonna reinstall again when it comes. Previous halloween was really bad (its just grind poc moar pls) and looks like they realized it.

Sounds like it better be a massive redesign then.

While one should never underestimate the tenacity of dedicated players,

- running 3 months (from release date) without events in total would be a long slog indeed
- then do Grind PoC Event, which is what players have already done for months

Would (my guess) severely damage any starting player base outside of fanatics (well. short of some massive and extensive overhaul in premium content I suppose).

Would also need to be just the first in a chain of permanent and contineous events of various types I believe. Plenty of work to go around, that's for sure.

I really got to stop attempting new maps that I've never fought on before instead start doing my first battles on armor blitz on safe easy maps so that I will not allow the loadinb bullshit kill me and force me out of action for 2+ hours just cuz the game was still loading and I couldn't deploy tanks cuz of it.

Honestly, I' think I'm dropping this. I couldn't progress an inch in the last 2 weeks and I don't see myself going anywhere for at least month more. The three available storymaps are pretty much impossible to beat without getting really lucky with emblems or overpowering them. And why would I bother? shit just gonna get thougher an tougher why my units will not. Rawr11251's method give me some hope that I could level up some key units in reasonable timeframe (aka. not years), but with the devs patching it out it's clear that they don't want anyone to actually progress. After all, then people would notice that unlike the devs of any other F2P game of this type, they refuse to provide any meaningful new content (no, refreshing gacha deals once a week is not content) on months end.

I've already dropped it, hadn't logged in for days.

This is the first game I've spent a good amount of money and have dropped because it is simply unplayable over the long haul and actually penalizes the players who do spend.

If I wouldn't get my full account banned, I'd do a charge back. The only thing that is real with this game is a mass amount of buyers remorse and feeling of getting nothing accomplished.

Spender or not, avoid this game unless you like playing for 10 minutes a day, and that's all you get to do.

I basically log in twice a day to collect/send off scouts, get my daily login, build stuff at factory and if I feel like it do 5 quick lv8 missions to get all daily quests checked off. Not that cores matter much, final construction slot is IIRC 2700 cores and you will never get 100 "loyalty points" for a 5star random draw via just dailies and login bonuses in any reasonable timeframe(100 loyalty points is ~7500 cores, so have fun...)

Pity though, the idea behind the game is good enough to be entertaining but imho campaign balance isn't great, portal of chaos bores quickly and is unbalanced as all hell AND a big load of RNG to boot(GLFH getting stunlocked from downtown versus getting garbage light tanks fed to you 1 by 1)



If there isn't a genuine event(No, "bonus chance" at gacha isn't an event.) in a couple weeks' time I'll probably end up starting to forget to log in until at some point the game just completely drops off my radar.

Basically echoing Overgoat, Xovian, and Rose here. Once the portal resets, get my candy and get one more scene, i'll just be logging in for scouts and resource collection.

But I do have some nice things to say. I think this game is unique enough that the foundations are there. The loyalty points, the ways to get cores, even the idea behind construction is very f2p friendly, and is personally better to me compared to other games. The scouts and resources can have you end up playing longer than most games on nutaku.

It's just bare right now. I can only speak for myself but once ACTUAL engaging events hit, more story/maps are made, they fine tune (Portal) some stuff (exp), add in some more sex that doesn't require whaling for 5* girls, tweak the rates once a bit more girls come in, I'll end up praising this as the best nutaku game.

I just get the feeling this put this game up too early. I'm sure i'll be back though.

She's nice arty. 400% damage on her shell when you activate her ability if it doesn't miss. Stack it with attack bonus aura and i've seen it go for over 2k damage at low levels. Its essentially one shot wonder because it takes very long time for its ability to be active again once you used its first shot.

When used right, that gigantic clump of enemies will take massive damage and get out of your way because they're near dead if not killed now. Most i've killed was like 8+ tanks with one emplacement at least once I think.

Huh, nice coincidence that 4* i had in the factory turned out to be an IS-2.

And since when did the screen shake whenever my S-51's arty shell lands on the enemy? Makes it feel like its an big explosion.

damage stat nerfed into the fucking ground so now all my light tanks and 75% of the emblems i've spent hundreds of thousands of fucking coin on are shit now.

fuck you assholes. fuck you. this was the 5 ton brick that broke the camel's back. i give up.

Not only that but

"~When Recruiting units in the shop, your 10+1 roll should always guarantee at least 1 4-star or higher unit." - Should have been in since the VERY beginning.

"~Haste Ability * Only usable once per battle" - Just made my 5 star Comet even more of a paper weight, not even an h-scene for her.

So we're just getting weaker while the content stays the same difficulty? This elite things are for whales as it relies on the boosted xp....for whales. Back to the back burner it seems...

Welp, how delightful for whales and how utterly pointless for literally everyone else.

All the while normal xp gain is atrocious once you try leveling 4-5* tanks past lv30.

Oh, and RIP damage emblems I guess.


Come on devs, introduce genuine content, balance the game properly(Campaign and especially portal of chaos are unbalanced as hell, the difficulty "spikes" are real).

Seriously devs, you're going to get yourselves into a negative spiral, the game itself isn't bad, but it's no AAA title you can sink 500h+ in and stay amused, so it regularly needs fresh content to retain players. super speshul unique 1-off THIS WEEK ONLY GET IT NAO! gacha "events" aren't new content.



Basically what will happen, and highly likely is already happening is that people run into a difficulty wall or are plain bored with the current content.
Those people tend to do one of three things:
1: They write the game off entirely. You've lost these players, no further explanation needed.
2: They stop playing, but can be "lured back" with new content.
3: They "play the game" only insofar as to get daily freebies and maybe spend 5min collecting their resources. They can be prompted to actually start playing again with new content.

The players in group 2 and 3 can be lured back with new content, but the longer you wait, the more likely it is that they move on to group 1. In addition, you risk them "falling behind the curve" and thus being unable to compete in any meaningful way in the event. They then either buckle up and play rigorously/spend money, or move on to group 1 as well.

Right now, more and more people will slowly go from active players to groups 2 and 3, and from there slide down to group 1 because simply put there hasn't been anything "new and exciting" for months, gameplay isn't properly balanced and I suspect even the bunch of nerfs you did(Even if they were needed, cannot truly comment on that) will have pushed players away.



TL DR Clock is ticking for the game as no new content causes more and more people to start writing the game off, which is a shame because the main idea behind the game is actually a fun little timesink, but held back by poor balance and a lack of new things to do.

Rawr1125, This may be a rather odd question. But could you be tempted to add a few words to your team and game history?

For example,

- When did you start? have you put money into the game? For Gatcha or Resources? How far have you progressed in Story and Portal?
- What challenges your team currently in terms of maps and level. Maybe a screenshot of your map progression?
- How does the levelling curve feel where you are at viz. the challenges your team faces?

I ask for the simple reason that I have started much later than most here and have actually taken down notes on my own journey(*) and was curious

I suspect my journey differ somewhat from a beginning player like you, due to less resources and not being there in the beginning when things were "beta'ed in" and was there curious to hear the experiences of "pinoneer" about 1 month ahead of me. A small user story of sorts.

* = not what I would normally do, but the game struck me as different and I was curious enough as to why to jot down some notes when something struck me as odd.

Eyeing the Elite system it seems to be what one could expect within the games framework.
There are simply not that many dials and gears involved so to speak. So linking it in the manner done seems obvious enough. It is basic though (Will no doubt need to see improvements moving forward)

I believe, however, it is more problematic is that it is released now, than its basic nature or scope.
It occurs, to me, as a case of basic but OK content, but at the wrong time.

It belongs far later in the game's age progression, imo, when players begin to claw the edge of unit growth and copies are the rule more than the exception.
It is an mini-AW (Awakening) system (Aigis term) of sorts.

Releasing it now, when it is far outside of reach of the majority of players, makes it demoralising* to some extent, as only whales could hope to evoke it at this stage in the game's life. That would not be much of a problem but for two things,

- PoC is permanent, competive and is the only "pseduo-event" around, so any change in power balance will give gripes and curses for obvious reasons.
- And vastly more important, Players faced with a content and adult content lack are hoping for that, not core game tools that become useful at a future date or power level.

(*the demoralising effect, is I am sure an entirely unintended effect from the developer's side, who are simply trying to add to the game as best they can)

It brings me to the point, which I've felt for some time, that the game has an odd delivery schedule going on,
- It has launched on Nutaku. But it desperately need to put the "Adult" part into the "Adult Game" part.

It rotates new units in at a quite decent pace. But it makes almost no progress at all in catching up on the enormous backlog it has (70+ out of 110+ units) from launch. Making the game largely a mobile game on a Adult platform (outside of the few story mandatory based scenes and save for those with 5* units) a match that is awkward to be polite.

Further, the fact that 70% or so of the games Adult content is at 5* adds to its woes.

Because at 5*, a strongly gated level of content (for obvious reasons, its the prestige level) makes it dead content for the majority of the players for the forseeable future. A non-issue, of course, if 3* and 4* tiers were buffed out with content, but they are not, essentially starving the game of the Adult content it does have.

It has by my count added 2 missing scenes over its life span on Nutaku, the rest has been for new and time limited units.
A state of affairs that is very likely to be unsustainable as it would mean that the game fills out its content in years and not at most some months time.

- It needs events, event cycles or an reasonable equivalent to drive consumption of the game

But releases an AW system instead of Events. It is a cart passing by, but the horse is stuck at Halloween, months into the future.

- Why

I suspect the key to this is in the resources available.

The art pipeline is no doubt static on the short term (weeks) and would, if accelerated, first show its output increase in the coming month(s). And is in any case new? for the adult part. Even if using the same artists. So maybe some sand in the armored track there.

The coding resources, which they do have, are backlogged (which I infer from the fact that the game basically went into suspend on Android for months on End, mostly before but also some time after the Nutaku jump was done. Frankly amazed the Android version is alive considering the time frames involved when i look in their blog history) and seem committed currently to enhancing the games core progression framework, not turning it into an event driven Adult game on Nutaku.

Resource constraints aside. Coding wise they do deliver and fast too!

BUT the planning cycle do seem odd. If I were to guess, I'd say they are stuck in mobile game mode and not thinking Adult game yet. The latter is massively dependent on events and Waifu content to drive content consumption in general (with exceptions of course)

TLDR on the Spoiler parts for those that skipped it : I speculate that the game development is "stuck" in "Mobile game mode", not thinking "Adult game mode" (yet)

Edit : Also. Time limiting the Vitaliya 5* in a situation where adult content is backlogged or missing is a poor call imho.

I saw my Renault which was out scouting then returned home.. I notice that her attack went from 93 to 79. This is unacceptable.

Then I went and looked at my army and notice the gigantic damage nerf across the board.

I am displeased. I think if the nerf happened before I beat Mauni's final Line, the boss would've been invincible to me. I must insist that enemy's dps be weakened and unable to spawn multiple of tanks if I cannot either. And yes, their defenses be weakened like mine too. :p

1. Technically I used vpn to log on day 1 of early access. This resulted in a lot of crashes when I started, and coincidentally one of the crashes was when I was trying to reorganize my party, which resulted in my Super Pershing duping which is why there's two in the party when there shouldn't be. I ended up stopping after that happened since FGO had just launched also and I went back to rerolling there. I didn't really make much progress in the game until day 2 where I turned off the vpn after getting the game loaded which stopped the crashes.

Centurion was my first month's random 5* tank.
Tiger II was the random for 2nd month which I just got like, yesterday.
Sturmtiger was the 3k blueprint tank I bought(Yay Sturmtiger buffs)

Story I haven't actually even been worried about. I'm at the lv 41 map, but I haven't been actively doing story since almost all my oil goes into portal. If not for endless renault farming before I might have had some oil to progress story recently.

As for portal, I don't worry about it too much. I just aim for clearing lv 38 enemies before reset since that gets me in the top 1%.

2. Current challenges? I guess that would be something like, trying to deal with 2 FV4005 Stage IIs hiding behind a Maus with skill up. Idk what my limit is on clearing maps since I haven't bothered going until I repeatedly fail. As for map, don't really need a screenshot. I'm literally just a tile away of Devonis and it's not like there's any other path. Other than that, maybe bad luck vs Maginot boss on portal. Pretty bad for me when I deploy a destroyer and it gets 1 shot by aoe right after.

3. I can only guess that by viz you must mean vs, as in versus. Leveling is pretty slow, but it hasn't really stopped me from doing anything I try to do.
