Yes, friends list doesn't show affection bonuses for some reason, everything from ampys to equipment to affection is working when they're used though.

I found the whole thing to be easy, except for a little trolling in ?-4. Definitely a nice break after Hypernicum RNG.

I think the "lore" reasoning behind the affection bonuses not carrying over to helper squads is that their affection is for their own commander (the one who gave them gifts), and not to you. Game-play wise, its pretty self-explanatory.

Is there any point to allies sometime down the line? Something related to that World Defensive Battle Scenario thing, maybe? Because I just realized there's no real point to adding Allies other than the Quest that finishes after 30 adds (At least, I think it was 30....), I mean sure if you have powerful Allies it makes it easier and all, but whenever I use up all my powerful Allies, until I can use them again, I have no problem finding random strong people. Occasionally I even find randoms more powerful than some of my Allies.

If you really care to, you can cultivate an ally list full of people who don't instantly full-nuke bosses, letting you get more equip seeds/event items.

I usually get more than enough seeds/event items anyway, plus that also requires knowing when your allies are even online. It tells you the last time your ally has logged in, but not if they're online at the time or they ran out of Raid Points who knows, and I've had several bosses escape in the past because of this. It's not because of inactive allies either, as among all 31 of them I have like 4 that are inactive, which I keep until someone decides to randomly request me. That being why I switched to just giving it to randoms, though some of my allies are sometimes given the bosses anyway through the random option.

They're useful in these raid boss events.

Other than that not really any use once your team can handle everything on their own. I like to keep fast helpers (800+) to farm maps, that's about it.

If you really care to, you can cultivate an ally list full of people who don't instantly full-nuke bosses, letting you get more equip seeds/event items.

This is actually counter productive to getting seeds. Its better to have yours killed within 2-3 minutes so you can spawn another, then when you're out of charisma to run more maps you can just refresh the game to find more bosses or use gifts/upgrade girls to find more.
It doesn't matter how fast others kill their bosses as long as they die but you get more finder bonuses if yours die fast.

It seems like a nice thing to do, but its not the best way forward for anyone by far, just get into the habit of sharing to everyone and killing others raid bosses fast for their sake. Raid bosses are far too plentiful to need to save them just for allies.

i hope they never make good allies a requirement to get full event rewards in the game they play a small role and i believe thats more then enough since you have almost zero control over what they have on unless you happen to actually know the person
being active is the only thing that matters now to me atleast cause if i didnt have 22 allies who are all active half of my raid bosses would escape as i just hit em once and by the time i finish a map there gone and i spawn new ones

You get more rewards from combat participation than from discovery. Something like double last time I checked. If a boss stays up longer, more allies have a chance for a better reward. Its only a very small inconvenience for the finder. If everyone is selfish, everyone loses. But either way, its not a big deal - not enough to be strict about it, anyways.
