Hello everyone, The Popularity Contest has now received a different purpose as, due to certain issues, we can no longer introduce the initially announced re-skinned versions.
The 3 winning Flower Knights will beinstead included in a Special Gacha Machine that will release shortly after the event.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,

So why would we get our brides and the DMM versions and DMM would only have the DMM ones? It makes zero sense especially since the DMM devs are already involved. They could easily put the girls we picked into a gacha on DMM.

This excuse is too easy to see through and nutaku is awful at telling people why anything happens.

Meaning tha, apart form the event girl, no one is getting anything from all this voting.
They should just gift the three girls to every player and be done with this mess.

You do know that if things were to develop like they had told NO ONE WOULD HAVE GET THE WINNING GIRLS only the event girl is given away for free, to get the rest you would have had to spent a few $$$ to get a chance to actually get them.

I don't get what the whole fuss is about, whatever the real reason is this proyect was too ambitious, more than "the jap player base will get upset cause the eng is getting exclusive units" is the problem of whether the artist is availible to work on the proyect (or even willing to).

This was poorly executed, even if there was a problem with the rewards they shouldn't said anything while mid event, they could have either say so from the get go (which i doubt that could have been posible) or leave it for later, after all there's no way that they coludn't figure something out given more time. Is not like anyone would have been hurt to wait a few more weeks for the new reskin units.

They're lying through their teeth on one side or the other.

Their claim a week ago was that they consulted with the devs on how to handle new winners and made the statement that new winners would get new units.

Their claim today is that the JP devs didn't approve of the idea and they had to cancel it.

There's no way that the devs would okay it a week ago and then tell them to shut it down now.

If you're really that gullible to swallow Nutaku's filth as it drips out of their collective mouth, I've got a bridge to sell you in Connecticut.

Well, yeah, there is that.
But now, on the midway, the event changed from
"The winning girls will get exclusive new versions onf 6* and 5* that you might one day see"
to
"The winning girls will be avaiably in a priority gacha that changes basically nothing on the chances, so NOTHING AT ALL will happen!"

no, that was almost certainly what was coming. now they won't have the alt designs to run that gacha.

it was never announced that jp would get the english winners, only that english would eventually get the jp winners.

And everyone was complaining about people, such as myself, voting for a rainbow unit (Black Baccara). WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY DECISION NOW!? ;)

The damage has already been done, though. I just hope there's no 3*/4* in the top three, since I really have no interest in pulling a gatcha with a rate-up on those. Black Baccara is essentially a lock, but if people knew it would turn out the way it did, they would have voted for more 6* (and not characters such as Mint a 2*).

Here's hoping everyone gets the update and changes their votes accordingly. I don't see any mention of the change in-game though, so unless people check venues outside of the game they probably won't know. :/

Nah, even IF a 2* or 3* won the voting contest, putting one of those on a priority gacha would be a very stupid decision on their part.

Oh. Yeah.
They are kinda known for stupid decisions already...

Urge to vote for a 2* intensifying just to see what they'd actually do if one won.

I can only imagine people's reaction if they added a 2* to premium gacha. :D

I would appreciate a boosted .5% chance to getting a Bistorta. Guess I've finally found what I've been hoarding my tickets for. :)

^ Unless they changed it in the recent fuckfest, hoarding tickets does absolutely nothing except keeping track of how much you got towards the event girl.

Haha yeah, that's pretty much what I was getting at. The tickets did nothing other than track the event's progress for me even before this whole matter. I was hanging on to my tickets 'cause I had no idea what else to do with them... but now I've found a use for the lot! Protest voting!

Last time they did that Special Gacha Machine it had Gold rates for selected Rainbows and Silver rates for selected Golds. This is actually the reason behind current top three - way too may people got them then, and advertised them through their helper squads. Yes, I am talking about (in)famost Slice Gacha.
And now they don't even have to do any additional work, just revive it as is and be done with it.

Compensation was announced. It's better than just a gacha. Still disappointed though.

Below You will find the compensation tiers, based on the number of obtained tickets:
1~500 Tickets - 5 FG
500~1000 Tickets - 10 FG
1000~3000 Tickets - 10 FG + 100k COINS
3000~3500 Tickets - 15 FG + 150k COINS
3500+ Tickets - 20 FG + 150k COINS + 1 of each Ampy

To better clarify the Gacha Machine: the winning characters will receive highly increased chances in a future Gacha which will be hold shortly after the event's end.
