They don't. After all, you, as Danchou himself, never take a single step on the battlefield. You send your harem to deal with infestation instead, and from time to time help them out with magical artillery strike from afar :)

3 open slots on Orchid isn't the worst thing in the world I guess. Although I'm gonna hate it in the future if I keep getting more Orchids when she has no more slots to open.

This is what happens when you release phase 2 early and the popularity poll gacha is ass, apparently.

Anyway, I still can't get Daisy, so fuck me.

Let's be honest there's not a lot of challenge to this game. If you've been playing since launch then your team is probably nearing 400k power and you steamroll every level without problems. Nothing is difficult. As soon as an event is released you probably finish the maps that same day.

Aegis still gets conversation throughout events as people come up with strategies first to beat maps, then to farm them "more efficiently". There's not really much reason to farm event maps in this game since the rewards are usually poorer than just spamming 12-5 repeatedly.

I mean, I suppose we could talk about how many ampys we got for 12-5 this week? woo?

I was excited for this, then I saw that it uses Nutaku gold and not Flower Gems.

Whatever, pass on it I guess. I'll just keep hoarding these FG for something.

Edit: I really, really wish Nutaku would do an event like this for people with Flower Gems, and not always Nutaku Gold. I know, they need to make money, but it would be nice to reward long-time players with something better to spend their FG's on. :(

They do something similar already. They call it HIGHLY INCREASED gacha :D

Right, "Highly Increased". :(

If only they were like the previous Slice gatcha, all would be well. Granted, I didn't get a 6* out of that either, but at least more people were lucky, haha.

That's a step up gacha though, as in you can only use it with actual nutaku gold. The slice gacha was available through flower gems was it not?

Not gonna happen, guaranteed 6* = nutaku gold. It works same way in JP FKG.

Correct.

What I meant was that I wished more "highly increased" gatcha were more like the slice one, and not (say, the popularity event), which would give a little more value to your Flower Gems. As is it now, I know I'll (probably) never receive a 6* unit without opening my wallet, since all of the nice gatcha (such as this step-up one) are locked behind Nutaku Gold, and not Flower Gems. It's not as though they wouldn't make money either way (since, I'm guessing not too many people have enough hoarded gems to do all five steps of the gatcha without resorting to buying some more with Nutaku Gold, unless you were saving for a LONG time). At least, give us the option to use these Flower Gems on something better than the meager 1% chance to get anything of real value.

Oh well, I'm kind of losing interest as time goes on anyway. The game isn't in-depth enough for me to want to spend $50+ for a 6* character, and the rates for 6* are too low for my to every expect to naturally pull one. I know Nutaku is a business, and they're in it to make money, but I kind of wish they would throw the F2P players a bone every now and then, and not with a simple "increased rates but not really" gatcha. :(

So the step-up gatcha over there worked in the same way, huh? I guess all DMM games are the same.

I know FKG is extremely F2P-friendly, but I want one 6* character so I can add it as my leader. Just one. I've been hoarding all of my gems for a time when the gatcha hits favorable odds, but I'm not sure it'll arrive. I really regret not doing one last multi-pull on the slice gatcha...

Well, sure, we're kind of in a routine at the moment (not helped by the issues I mentioned), but my point was, the thread's too dead even for that.

I guess the step-up gacha already answers one concern, at least.

Step 1: 3* (50 gold) = got Kikyo Bellflower
Step 2: 3*-4* (100 gold) = got Jasmine
Step 3: 4* (300 gold) = got Violetta Tulip #12
Step 4: 4*-5* (500 gold) = got Yulan
Step 5: 5* (1000 gold) = got Strawberry Candle (new)
Step 6: 6* (4000 gold) = got Daisy

(random single roll for player gacha) = got Rose (also new)

Thank fucking god. I would've been happy with any pink-hair and/or not a Dendrobium dupe, but I ended up getting the rainbow I wanted most.

Now I just need a Hanamomo to complete my pink-hair collection, but I'll wait a year for the June Bride variant if it comes to it.

I still don't have Alpinia but I'm very happy with my results.

I don't know if this has been said before but there's a new button to the left of your Nutaku gold that gives "missions" you can complete for Nutaku gold.
