I got this Xmas recipe X but i don't have the resources to make it, anyone knows if the weapons are better that the normal recipe? Should i use a hammer to ensure better development?

Yes. The X weapons are the only ones worth using, and only at +4 strength. The lower qualities and all qualities of the regular weapons are complete garbage. Don't waste your time with anything but X recipes.

Ronins are fine units, but you have to be very careful how you use them. They need evasion to survive, like a Rogue does, so you probably want to set them up with a good ring as an accessory. Rings are good for them anyway because it helps build their already high crit, which makes them good units to use against high-defense enemies like mimics and banshees.

It's recommended to use whatever class you get a +4 Christmas X weapon for.

Only the hammer and mace are worth having, honestly. And only the hammer is worth using all the time. And even it is pretty much exactly on par with an Ultimate Axe +3.

I don't know about you, but I can't make +3 weapons period, even with hammers and forges. So if I got a +4 christmas weapon, I'd take it over most of my +2s.

The problem with the Christmas weapons is that they all have terrible skills. With the exception of the Hammer and Mace.

All of the skills have low damage mods, except for the Mace, which has a significantly higher damage mod than the usual 2x2 heal skill (0.65 vs. 0.4). All of the rest have a lower damage mod and are generally not great skills. The bow, for example, is a single-hit, single-row attack with low damage. The rod is a 2x2 attack instead of a full party spell that you could get on a +2/+3 rod.

They're just not worth using. Except the Hammer. The damage mod on its skill is 0.05 less than Grand Down, but the weapon has more attack at +4 than an Ultimate Axe +3. Ultimately, though, the two cancel each other out and become almost exactly the same, damage-wise. Neither is among the highest damage axes, but they're the two strongest axes with a 2x2 skill.

That actually depends on your luck with mods also. I've gotten +60 and higher on a few items. Of course it's always the +0s that get that though.

Me too. I have NO +3 weapon of any kind.

Which rings are good? I have the Labyrinth Ring recipe, but it does not seem that good.

Labyrinth Ring works differently than other rings because it has a different stat focus. Most rings give a lot of accuracy/evasion/critical and not much else. Labyrinth Ring gives some attack/defense/magic attack/magic defense, as well as a little bit of evasion and critical.

The best rings are the earth ring (Ring of Resounding Quake) and the Goddess's Ring. RoRQ gives an equal amount to accuracy/evasion/critical. It also gives the most accuracy/critical of any ring. It's great for archers. Goddess's Ring gives less accuracy and critical, but more evasion. It has the most evasion of any ring. It's your call on which one to use for Rogues and Ronin depending on if you want them to have more evasion or more accuracy/critical. Personally, I like the Goddess's Ring for them. For comparison, the accuracy/evasion/critical stats of the RoRQ are 100/100/100 at +3 and the Goddess's Ring's stats are 80/140/80 at +3. Those are the best stats you can get from a ring.

Until you have those two, just use the best ring recipe you have and try to get a high quality one.

Thanks for the tip i've been pondering if i should use what i have gotten so far. But seriusly this is too ramdon, the weapons are all over the place, i have maces, hammers, swords, bows, but all with only +1 or +2, the only thing i've gotten +3 are a couple of neckless.

on another note, how bad is the drop for Crystals? I've been trying to CU Romina and Ann but i can get any drop :/

you only need shards or ores for upgrade employee, crystals too rare

Wait..... WHAT??!!!! I thought you needed the three of them to Class UP (shards, ores and crystals) F*** i could have beat this game ages ago!!! F***. No wonder everyone is so far ahead, i've wasted so much EXP T-T

If you farm character stories like I do, you can sometimes get 3x class crystals from gold chests, though it helps if you already have the recipe and voice stone for that character already.

Just used a gold mailbox I've been saving to get two recruits with it.. the site is not responding and I've missed both chances, wasting the mail box and a day's chance to recruit. The pain is real. Can't even get the game to load at all.
