I was actually thinking about this the other day and I was leaning toward if I drew an extra Sybilla I actually WOULD use her for cr/su

At least for me I just don't see myself investing in another one and I would rather have my other Sybilla be a bit better. Nanaly shouldn't count to this because keeping multiples of her is a smart idea, she is the best

I plan on skill AW'ing one of my Sybillas and just leaving the other Sybilla at 5/5. One for sword beamspam, one for assassinating.

Having multiple Desparas isn't bad either.

Now, my third Berna or my second Deine are hard to justify keeping. Maybe even the second Berna. The spare Bernas had a purpose for Dwarfs and Giants, but now that I'm past those, I don't really see the need to keep them now, especially once I AW the main Berna and I can abuse her passive with all my other rogues.

I might just hold onto them for the exchange system in 2020 etc.

Rates in these gold rush are killing me. Only manage to get Julian. All the other ones are missing gold fairy drops... RNG has foresaken me.

Hmm, dupes. Well...

Good in Dupes:
Sybilla (long-ranged magic nuke, very strong in multiples since she can handle melee without too much worry while providing high DPS, would AW skill them all since nothing you can assassinate reliably is likely to survive 2+ of these)
Alice (simply crazy powerful for cost, scales as the fight continues )
Aisha (meteos e.g. ever see those videos with the guy that has 13 Aisha's? yeah.)
Ingrid (long-ranged magic nuke + localized magic resist down)
Rion (multihit burst x2 is better than multihit burst x1)
Nanaly (see above)
Esther (powerful in ramp/magic teams in spite of cost, two can keep up the global MR debuff endlessly if wanted on top of having high range/damage)
Despara (AW skill has massive burst, more than one witch isn't bad)
Minerva (very high DPS + assassinate)
Mikoto (best auto-attack in the game, more than one pseudo-witch with time stop isn't bad)

Meh In Dupes:
Altair (you need burst ramp soldiers too)
Clissa (not terrible, not great)
Berna (see above)
Olivie (kind of fiddly, only have so much space to place things like this)
Esta (one pegasus knight is probably enough, would be pretty funny though)
Sophie (fiddly, will be strong sometimes and terrible others)
Iris (extremely powerful but physical damage is frequently centralized)
Sue (okayish, but probably not as effective in dupes as the physical DPS in the above section)

Bad In Dupes:
Dina (better than Deine but still expensive and you really only need one)
Deine (see above)
Cornelia (almost unkillable in many scenarios, but expensive)
Grace (would be difficult to place two in a beneficial manner, expensive)
Rakshasa (can redeploy her multiple times anyway)
Matsuri (utility unit, stats can't carry in melee, okay at ranged I guess, just can't see using more than one, also benefits more from CR than most units)
Kikyou (low impact, passive's amazing and her best attribute)
Farune (more than one summoner is really unnecessary)

Just opinions on what's good in dupes for gacha blacks, feel free to debate or complain, keeping in mind I have some experience with a good number of these on my/my brother's accounts and some are just general input from others. Only gacha blacks I wouldn't know how to place is Nezha, since she's weird, and Amanda - depends on whether or not her 1/2 cost effect applies to dupes of her - that could probably be pretty good? Maybe?

She's a great duelist though, so she's not exactly niche.

Picture displays for me. Not sure what's wrong. A bit out of date now anyway.

As for Rika, I have practically no experience using the class but she's a free melee slot unit with a ranged true damage(eventually) active. There's a lot of uses for this and I can definitely see someone using more than one, especailly if they have terrible luck in the gacha or have particular team loadouts that supplement them. I don't know if I'd make the investment myself, but I do love ranged attack actives so I support the basic idea, anyway.

Of the event units currently available in the Nutaku version I'd venture to guess that Rika has stood the test of time on DMM better than 90%-95% of them, keeping in mind I'm hardly some crazy, insane expert that's been playing forever, but more someone who is just familiar with DMM's modern stage design.

Disregarding Karsu's explosive, yet excessive summary on what's what with blacks, I admit that keeping duplicate blacks would be more beneficial than combining most of the time. But that defeats the "spirit" of the game in my opinion.

And this applies to all units, not just blacks. One or none in my book.

Just because you put upon yourself some self imposed limits, does not justify any comment that belittles other play styles. You're more then welcome to play the game how you see fit. Do not try to impose some self righteous will upon others.

Spirit of the game is: get girls (build harem), use girls to defeat enemy.
No more, no less.

The comic thing wasn't that serious; just used as a point that dupe combining is recognized by some others as the thing to do when you have them.

As for the entirety of my last post, none of that was imposing. That was defending. I will not have false things said about me. You can scrutinize me all you want, but the statement "one or none in my book" does not carry enough weight for you to have made your post.

Is there any use for gold archers? I mean like for aw or something. Not sure if there's any point in getting another Stray, when one from gacha just takes space, so uselessly.

Main account got Stray in 2 tries....? And the Alt did 9 tries, but wasn't able to get Stray....that makes me happy, confused, and worried. I really hope that luck doesn't get switched for when Bernice comes tomorrow.....
