Barby-chan got in both the Main and Alt, Main getting him in 9 tries with the Alt getting him 1 less try than the Main. The Main still hasn't gotten Fedora yet (might try again a bit later in the day.) but with Betty being the last tomorrow and still a good number of days left there's a good chance the Main will be able to get them both....maybe.

Considering that I'm up to date with the drops and that the last gold unit comes around tomorrow, I suppose I should start planning whom to level during the weekend.

Fedora's good but with AW on the horizon, Iris is currently a better choice(Fedora's AW is -1 cost, Iris is a 500 HP heal upon placing her on the map) and, I'm assuming you have a Silver Healer too, three should be good for a while and you'll want Chydis eventually, whenever she comes back.

I have a 50CC60 Cuterie but I've never actually fielded her, while it's good to have some insurance in case something happens, there's really no rush in leveling her up.

Bernice is important, you'd be surprised how often you'll want two tanks though, even if we go with the assumption that those situations are rare, having a heavy-duty unit like Bernice instead of a mere Silver can be the difference between a failure and a clear.

Hmm, is she that good? Well, I suppose out of all the possibilities, I need a secondary tank the most, so might as well go for her. Originally I wanted to go for Fedora first, since I don't have a platinum healer, and that range increase looks VERY useful.

+ While I have Maribel as a main tank, I ran into some serious issues when I had to deploy two tanks. I have maxed Leeanne and maxed Garrett, but neither of them are really good against real heavy hitters.

- Needing multiple tanks has been relatively rare situation up to this point. After all, it's better to block bosses with duelists and clear away goblin trash by mages or soldiers.

Probably this is your best choice. While you have several decently leveled HA, none of them could be compared to Bernice when it comes to actually blocking and tanking damage. She could tank things that none other unit currently could (except Anya, Karma, Gelius and probably Deine), remember Black Oni from Solano event? She also have great AW passive (+5% def for HA)

Coming from someone whose an experienced DMM player: Bernice, Thetis and Fedora. Probably in that order.

If you have no other high-tier duelists(Sybilla, Olivie, Sherry, Lilia, Clissa, Dahlia, etc count., Karma/Rika, while useful, do not count as 'normal' duelists due to their inability to heal normally), Thetis increases in priority. If you have less than three healers overall, Fedora increases in priority.

Whether or not you need multiple heavy armors(I use none on my DMM account with great frequency), Bernice is a reliable unit that outperforms your alternatives in a substantial way.

Re: Len, I'd wait till she gets all the buffs she doesn't have yet in the Nutaku version. She was a very weak unit in DMM till they fixed her, now she's pretty useful and does DPS close to a Vampire Hunter with no skill at half the cost.

Nah, Thetis is my only premium-exclusive platinum unit (got VERY lucky with the 2k gold summon) and I only have the three non-premium blacks (Anya, Karma and Saki). So in terms of duelists I have Anya (well kinda, she blocks two), Rowanna, Lynn, Conrad and Kerry. I have Charlotte at CC50, but her low health makes her unsuitable to take on bosses. I have Ada and Horace, neither of which are CC'd as of yet. While these units can be useful, when it comes to stopping bosses I only really use Kerry, Anya, Karma, and sometimes Rowanna. The rest don't have a chance to endure against a lich or an oni for example.

Bernice seems reliable. Maribel is a friggin' powerhouse with her skill on, but if I get a continuous rush and her skill expires before the rush ends, then I'm in serious trouble, since her base stats are comparable to Leeanne's. And Garrett is attack focused. He is alright clearing goblins and a rush of trash units, but useless against heavy hitters. So in that sense Bernice would be useful as a reliable HA.

Len will have to wait. As is I just don't see the point in leveling her without leveling her skill first. And considering how rarely I get rainbow fairies, that's gonna take a while.

Used all my stamina today and now missing the last 3 gold units. I was doing so well until recently too. Probably still end up doing DC tomorrow though. Will have to hope I can get all the units tonight or over the weekend.

Sybilla and Sherry are more than enough. And if you ever would need a third Princess, we're getting Claudia soon.

She isn't bad, especially because it doesn't take as long to AW a gold, but you should just stick your resources in your better units.

Are event units primarily going to be high-cost units or are there any low-cost units that can replace, say, the 4 cost bronze you sometimes need for those early-rush maps? I know we got the monk gal, but i'd still rather place a soldier like katie than her for a first unit given the choice.

I use the 10 cost Aria (min cost event unit) and a 8 cost Phylis so I have never needed those 4 cost soldiers.

Besides the units that have already passed, the most notable one is Liselotte, a mincost 13 plat soldier with Reinforce III, good stats, a good AW skill and passive - probably one of the best unit farm units available.. She is way, way far away for you guys though.

Also, past the early point of the game, bronze fodder units are generally not necessary save a very small number of specific situations(male only maps or whatever).

I have mincost Themis and I still use Sybilla/Lilia over her.

She might be useful if you choose to awaken her anytime soon, though you certainly shouldn't awaken her before Sybilla or Sherry.

Sigh. Up through Bernice I was able to get the Gold unit by the second day the map came out.

Now I'm four days behind, still stuck on getting Cuterie and everyone newer. Was it something I said Aigis?

I gotta agree with Eab, I'm in the same boat as him with a maxed Sybilla and near maxed Sherry (lv60 of 70) and a near mincost Themis (1 CR away from mincost and skill 4/5 actually....) and I tend to use Sybilla and Sherry over Themis, though there have been a few (very few) instances where I've used all 3 of them on the same map.

I have a 29 cc cypria and a 28 non-cc ada as well. I can't CC stuff like thetis yet because I have no silver armors. I'm thinking bernice should be my first choice since leeanne is the only decent tank I have. I left Jerome non-cc cus someone said he's better that away until awakening comes.

And here I am with no princesses at all, even tho I started day one and have almost exclusively used the premium summon only during spotlights that included princesses, whether it was a plat one or Themis (never tried to go for Sybilla, I know I'm not that lucky ). Well, maybe one day

Less about event units and more about classes in general.

The four cheapest classes are Soldiers, Rogues, Monks, and Rearguard Tacticians. Soldiers obviously one of the most important classes if not the most important. Rearguards are extremely good. Len will get an update to make her extremely strong and Aisha, should we get her, is broken even for a black. Rogues and Monks are low-cost blockers. They sacrifice blocking and ramp compared to Soldiers, but are usually much stronger.

We had our event Soldier, Rogue, Monk, and Rearguard. Way into the future like Karsu said we'll have a farm plat Soldier. Otherwise, the cheapest event units we'll have are Archers and Sailors.

I'd work on Bernice for sure, having a good HA helps a lot, if you have a few spare Silver Healers lying around go 30CC your second copy of Iris for a guaranteed CR/SU, if you have a lot lying around, it could be worthwhile to burn one or more copies of Alissa for some CR/SU too.

I don't see a Bashira, if that isn't an oversight and you don't actually own her, it might be worthwhile to work on Vincent or Hina, Vampire Hunters and Ninjas offer good DPS against lightly armoured targets and you're a bit lacking on the physical ranged side with Spica and only Silvers.

I don't see Aria either so, depending on how you usually tackle maps, CCing Jerome might be a worthwhile investment too. While he is indeed useful without being CCed, he offers a lot of power if you do CC him. Compared to Katie, he has 192 more HP, 144 more Atk and 22 less Def for the same cost.

And yes, obviously Thetis is high in the priority list but since you're lacking silver HAs, nothing you can do about that for now.

I just did 3 more rolls and got Garania, Dahlia and Elizabeth.. all plat but no archer :/

My luck with archers is absolute shit, I think my 2nd best archer is Stray, I'm considering just buying a 2nd Spica.
