Osawari and Pero Pero aren't surprising, but Dragon Providence is that popular, really? I'm also surprised Big Bang Empire is up there, considering all the hate messages on Facebook when it first released.

It is actually. Even though there's very few posts for it on these forums, the video I made about starting out of it compared to other games was significantly more.

As you can see, significantly more views on Dragon Providence.

Edit:

The most surprising thing about Big Bang Empire, is that there's literally like no actual sexual content. You can spend diamonds to make your character nude, but that's about it.

Huh, interesting. I also just realized Angelic Saga isn't even up there, last I checked that was pretty popular and Nutaku advertises it as much as Osawari and Pero Pero, it even get's somewhat regular back to back events.

Wait...Everlasting Summer, isn't that that VN? That's more popular than Aigis? That's kinda depressing.

Sort of brings the point home what the difference is between running Aigis the DMM and the Nutaku way.
2 mio celebration on DMM, #10 place on Nutaku.

I have no idea as to what the developers want to prove with what they are doing or what future if any they see.

If they do not want to invest before they see player numbers, then the game is screwed as thats the opposite of how it works, and in any case, its been a year, so void argument as that is a entry strategy, not a 1year+ one.

Some idle speculation on reasons,

- Demo version to show brand in international market and attact players (to DMM)
- Minimum effort milk cow
- Unwilling to close Aigis here due to prestige loss, if any
- Contractual obligations to Nutaku, if any.

(did try to think of a silver lining reason, but same game and the difference DMM vs. Nutaku version is too large for me to find one, maybe the silver lining is simply that they wont close it?)

Important Disclaimer : Lets see how the list changes, we do not know how Nutaku has built it yet. Though taken at face value, the above stands, for now.

Having more whales doesn't necessarily mean a game is more popular. It's more about how many people actually play the game I would think.

The player count that is likely to be behind the list, is at best an approximation.
One can run at lower places and still do good due to having a better paying player base or if we must be a bit crude, a lot of whales.

I put in the "milk cow" option for the same reason, I am guessing there is a positive revenue flow in this somewhere. Might be good enough. No way of telling.

Since I actually played BBE for a while, I can tell you where most of the purchases come from.

On BBE, you can make your guilds and stuff, but to do so requires diamonds. You can get free diamonds from playing, but you can only upgrade guilds with non free diamonds. So upgraded guilds are only possible if members pay $$$. Considering the amount of guilds there, and if the game has more players than Aigis, then it wouldn't be impossible for it to also have more profit.

Says that Osawari is top-ranked, but Providence is most popular. I guess Osawari (and Pero) bring in more spenders, while Providence brings in more players?

Since Aigis is on the top-ranked list, I imagine it still has its share of spenders. But yeah, it'd obviously be more popular if devs actually gave a shit about our version.

I'm wondering if it calculates total player or how many are playing in the past day/week/month?

Does it include the mobile players for Providence?

I'm just surprised, I never farmed Bandits on neither DMM nor Nutaku and always have an overflow. Heck, I have 26 on here of which 5 are CCed and an extra I can pick up from a Story Map at any time.

I'm guessing games is the extended version of top ranking since it matches up. That looks much more accurate than the most popular list but I guess statistics are what they are.

Pretty depressing that shit like empire outranks aigis and angelic saga doesn't even make top 10. Top 4 was kind of expected but I was really expecting aigis to be at least 5th.

Top Ranking has no Dragon Tactics. I'm guessing it's just a coincidence for the rest.
