Strange, I tried to tank the blue demon with Lilia, and she still nearly got one-shotted despite her skill being up (and at 5/5). I didn't keep her around since my healers were easily distracted.

jerome has awoken im very pleased with my first english aw unit
also Blahblahblacksheep thx for vid i used dahilla dark elf avenger and karma instead of the bandits all worked very well dahilla for minerva tanking

Mine was more like, well, this guy's casting shit and walking through all my archers. So I dropped Anya and used her skill just because I could. Didn't know he would actually switch to melee when he reached her. <.<

Awakened Cellia, going to do Betty and Monica today, hopefully Jerome as well. Going to have to skip orb farming on Thursday's for quite a while though as I really need more DC.

Was spinning 2k gacha to try and get an iron bandit and I managed to pull the silver VH. Do any units need VH to CC/AW or can I combine her into my main one?

As someone who suffered from the same problem, I'll give you the advice that solved my trouble after over 100 summons and no bandit.

Open missions
Scrolls to the bottom
Auto complete the 10 charisma mission that gives bandit drops.

I had faith and she gave me a bandit the next spin. Decided to do another 10 rolls anyway and got Valerie as well, so pretty good going there :)

Also saved up 415 SP. Not sure when I should use them, want to wait for a load of new silvers but we will see.

First of all, congratulations on EN getting AW.

Second of all, read up on the units that have AW skills already released. Unlike DMM you don't have to take chances with AW skills.

Now some tips involving AW:
  • AW is a huge resource drainer as you have realized, and I don't mean just the obvious silver materials, and gold. This also includes affection items, rainbow fairies, charisma and obviously fairies/level. Don't underestimate how much Lv1>Lv99 takes in terms of black fairies.
  • For reference purpose: 30 Black Fairy + 10 Platinum Cans = Lv80 = 80k Exp. Then you only need 65k Exp to get to Lv99. Totaling 54 Black Fairies + 18 Platinum Cans + A bit more exp.
  • A small congrats to all those that have been hoarding, you will be rewarded quite nicely until you ran out of a specific silver and/or fairies. A tip here as well, take what you can get in terms of silver until 10 copy. There's really no point to keeping bronze units once AW hits. (I had > 240 silver units and over 20 CC units at one time, and I was missing Valkyrie (despite having 3) and bandits (despite having 4) just because I chose to AW Aneria/her sister and Amanda one after the other.
  • AW is draining as a long term goal, get used to it and go at a good pace without burning your resources out.

AW is all about:
Love. *cough* sorry, wrong game. AW is all about performance and farming.

  • Those who chose to AW Aria, Jerome, GJ.
  • Those who chose to AW Stray/Conrad ... be prepared to use them for the sake of using them. (And make it look good while at it)
  • Those who chose to AW a black, use and abuse.
  • Those who chose to AW Monica, and etc the minimal for proper farming.
  • I am leaving Betty last because it's quite different between whales and freemium. Whales can just trade SC for gold and auto-complete/spam mondays, freemium doesn't have that luxury and charisma/gold rate actually matters

Far off in the future:
The recent event on JP has taught us a lot in terms of how horrid can horrid get if the Devs take their gloves off. The answer as a result is pretty horrid, with a lot of the current DMM veterans managing only 3 starring up to Lv7~8 (Max Lv15)

Hence, the game can have some pretty harsh requirement in the late game and you might as well prepare for them early instead of woloing like most of us on DMM side of thing did.

This will be looking towards the future, but both Vampire and Immortal Karma as well as Vampire Hunters require Vampire Hunters for Awakening (EDIT 2: Currently it appears Vampire Hunters do not require VHs to Awaken, however this will most likely change with a future patch). Karma's Awakening most likely won't be in for some time, but we'll be able to get an event VH in the not too distant future. There's only about four or so events between where we're at and her event.

It is a farming event and the 40/5 map does drop Khuri, if they don't alter the drops that is. So, you could use that copy to CR your current one, however, it wouldn't hurt to hold onto the copy to Awaken the event VH until you get more copies, if this is a unit you'd like to Awaken.

Thanks Draa. My initial Awakening Plan is Aria, Chydis, Dahlia, and then Spica, if I get the necessary orbs that is. After that, I'll just call it by what I may need and have the orbs for. Fortunately, silvers, gold, and crystals are non-issues due to the stockpile that has been amassed due to our breaks in the past for the latter two while the former was covered by a healthy mix of 2k rolls and silver luck during events.

I'm probably something like 1st month player at max, with couple months of break but whatever, and got very few silvers :/ Seems like I suck :p

Hmm, depends. Have you been completely active every day? Did you farm events for Silvers? Did you save up your free SC and buy a barracks to STORE your silvers?

I mean some people probably get rid of their extra silvers because of lack of space if they wasted SC on other things, so I could understand if that's a reason why. :p

Haha. I combined some silvers the very first time I played... but it was on DMM. Or maybe here too... just not much and only in the beginning, like few days. Quite early I found this forum and knew a lot. And yes, besides couple months of break (between end of Fairy Village Crisis and last days of Solano's event) I played regularly, it's just that... All my SCs (except for maybe 4-5 right now lately for more space and few for Claudia) went for premium gacha :p Always had totaly different approach with SCs than it was advised. At least it was conscious decision - now I dont have a lot of units in reserves, but at least got some more variety of units, otherwise wouldn't have as a freemium.

But still... never had big problems with too many silvers even though I don't have much space. Probably because I never liked farm events and with star events I focused more on getting things I needed at that time (like spirits, gifts, DCs).

Oh well, will get those silvers slowly when the need arise, first I need to get units to max lvl anyway.

Fewer events, Fewer silvers. Holds no matter how fanatical or not, one farms or stockpiles.
So Nutaku version will feel the silver "pinch" more than DMM.
But will be plenty of time to farm the ones actually needed instead of stockpiling for an unknown future.

Also, looking forward to tomorrows AW map with some amusement.
The boss on the map is a black HA "loli", I wonder if they replaced her or Nutaku version just got its first "loli" sneaked in.

I actually ran out of space in first and second barracks while stockpiling silvers for awakening in recent events. Claudia event alone brought me over 50 of Daniellas, Gustafs, Mortimers and Verottes.

Thanks for this. I actually managed to pull Elizabeth and when I looked at the units needed to awaken her it doesn't include a VH, which is why I wasn't sure if any units needed them. As I only have 1 spare at the moment I think I will keep her just in case I need.

I take it in the future Elizabeth will get a patch which will make her require a VH as well for AW? Or is she just different than the event VH?

Ah, it looks like VHs still use their old Awakening requirements then, which is in a similar vein to Len, who will need a ninja to Awaken in the future, but doesn't require one as of now.

I wasn't certain since I had no way to verify on my end, well that's good to know. But yes, in the future, Vampire Hunters will need CC'ed Silver/unCC'ed Gold VHs to Awaken.

so aw them with the more common units now and dont suffer later is the point i assume???? also why is jerome so op i mean seriously +2 sortie thats borderline cheaty for anyone lucky enough to pull him also lastly something that made this entire aw thing easier for me was to lay out my main team and get all the orbs needed for them and slowly get faries i was able to do 1-2 a month with only having to spend 1-2 weeks farming orbs
