I thought I would advocate for them. Just hoping. I turned out wrong, but I'm no more disappointed than I've been by their other decisions. Just how it goes.
You also forgot Mischa who as far as I can tell, has been a staple in a lot of silver 3 star videos. There are probably more that are important, Liana vs Black Iris is a good example. People keep bringing up these units because 1. we have absolutely no reason to not have them, and 2. they want them. This is a character collection game/TD game after all. It's not unreasonable to find a bunch of missing characters displeasing.
Speaking of another missing unit, we've also got Kagerou who has been MIA for quite a few events now as well. This continues to leave us without a silver ninja to start collecting and CCing for awakening. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see the devs throw her in some random event AND add her to the awakening pool for the classes that should have had it already.
Kagerou and Mischa mean nothing to me. They are silvers who have no purpose beyond being low cost alternatives in
very situational circumstances. While I want them to satisfy the collector in me, I don't think losing silvers is a big deal unless they impact CC and AW.
Black Iris doesn't mean anything because she is black. I know I'll get called out on this, but having an extremely OP unit, even for a black, at that rarity get cut should really not mean much.

Noel is very important source of gold, much more important than Get Gold units.
Kagura is one of precious freemium units who buffs attack of all melee units (for +5%, 2.5 times more than Aria), excluded from game for no reason at all.
Chloe is very important for many strategies. I have AW80 Yurina on DMM, and almost every time I used Chloe or AWed HA instead. Good angel is absolute must for every team, and we were denied both freemium angels.
Gold doesn't mean much at this point. You advocate for Kagura based on a passive. Dan/Daniel/Niel/Nieru and Erun, the silver and gold Angels, are still in the future. While Chloe is good, I don't think she is as necessary as you make her out to be. I did fine on DMM without an Angel. I used someone's account who had 10/10 Sophie on DMM and had struggles using her optimally.
I'm going to go ahead and stop reading here. They've been giving us revival-stat units since the launch of Nutaku. There's no room for debate here. Our events are harder than the ones DMM had (except maybe Dorania's/Anya's) because we always get the revival version.
That's not arguable as opinion. It's verifiable fact.
Okay, I do remember the dragon mages during the dragon events were fixed from dealing physical damage to magical damage. But that is really a fix.
Otherwise, I have no idea about stats. I've managed fine with every event. I noticed no difficulty spikes. Can you give me data? I didn't know DMM powered up enemies for revivals. I played plenty of DMM and I'm a Nutaku veteran, but apparently I'm out of the loop on this.
