Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
@Altrius,
I get your point. I can fully understand why your interest is waning on EN version though too. There's currently no challenge, though I don't really consider that to be a big detraction as until we do start getting maps as a "first" and not even DMM has a strategy for it, the challenge will always be lacking to some extent in our version. I'm perfectly fine with that, cause there are players like me that won't go look up the vids and strategies to events and missions.
For me the big negative is that it seems the JP Dev team is ONLY focusing on the JP version, which not only keeps the EN version stagnant, it can also pull players from here that would just rather go off and play DMM's version out right. Least then they are guaranteed new content in a timely fashion with revival events and all the units with out worrying about any skips. Simply put, as of this moment there is no "bonus" or "incentive" to play EN over DMM's version, and the JP team doesn't seem even remotely interested in changing this.
Since we are now on our "own schedule" I don't see the point of further delays or not just doing something completely different for our version. I mean sure doing events that everyone knows about is all well and good (people get their girls) but why aren't we seeing something that shakes things up, a completely new event that DMM doesn't have, and hasn't ever had. It's with in their power, they can choose to do something that makes EN attractive, but they haven't.
As to the difficulty, I expect it to rise, just as I expect new mechanics that bypass those deficits (Sandra is a perfect example). But where is it for EN? People aren't ready? While I may be one of the top leveled players and have many units at my disposal, I'm far from the only one that has a "dam good team". Most players on this forum are already there too, payers or free, we all in the same boat now. Everyone's trying to figure out "what do I do next with all this down time", and that's my disappointment. Unless they are brand new players, which there will always be new players coming in, provided the dev team keeps EN interesting for people, people are as ready as they can get IMO. Some of us are now reaching overkill as to how ready we are, but at this point we've been kinda neglected, and that shouldn't be the case. Sadly it seems Nutaku itself is just as SOL as the players are, and that's just groan worthy.
Oh well, I won't vent further, I've given my thoughts on it, no use in dwelling on it, the game still fun, and until all my units are max level, I do have "something" to do even if it is minimal in the interaction department.
