Wow the Nutaku Event's winners are lame, the top two just got some friends to mass-Like their submission. I guess it's still some form advertising but it sucks for people who were playing fair.

^This is, unfortunately, how almost all popularity contests go. It's why I didn't even bother with a submission when I saw that the winners wouldn't be randomly drawn. I still went through and Liked all the ones I cared for, though, just to show personal support to the people who went through the effort to make entertaining fan material.

If I didn't possess the drawing hand of a schizophrenic chimpanzee, I'd love to able to create fan art and comics for this game. Ohh well.

For leveling Karma with Platinum armors + fairies, do I refer to the second chart on the first page? The one that says that it takes 10 sets to start from level one.

I had always heard rumors that Java performance in Safari on OS X was superb, but I had no idea it was THAT good. MWA ran soooo silky smooth. If you get the chance to boot into OS X (OSx86, native, or otherwise...), I recommend giving it a try. I can finish Immortal Beast farming in something like 1/3rd the time now. Feels like the game is on turbo. 2k summoning gacha spam is ridiculously fast and seamless too. Goodbye Chrome/Opera on Win7.

My personal browser rankings for MWA performance:
#1 - Safari (OSX) - wins by miles
#2 - Opera (Win7) - smooth but low fps, no hiccups/crashes
#3 - Firefox (Win7) - comparable fps to opera, but very hitchy, and had a crash during a mission.
#4 - Chrome (Win7/OSX) - low fps, hitches occasionally during gameplay, laggy menus, but no crashes
#5 - Firefox (OSX) - better fps than chrome/opera, but very hitchy, and lots of crashes during missions

Flash still kinda sucks on OSX though.

Yep, I noticed that during the last event, plenty of people still voted without that and I managed to get second place because of it, but I had noticed first place had a ton of people from his friends list.

Interesting that you had better fps than chrome. Did you disable hardware acceleration on chrome? I saw a massive increase in FPS and stablility when I switched to chrome from firefox. (Win7)

Another thing of note Aigis is not a flash game, it is HTML5.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Fun fact, currently on discussion in JP thread.
While in EN they saying they will buff up the loli look like girl girl (which still haven't been done at all)
In JP last maintenance Spica actually got a bust up... in her CG image (yup compared 1.5x larger :p)
Well the idea is she got a new illustration on her standing pict too and new AW picture (ppl who check wiki probably notice this already)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Can't forget she looks slightly pregnant....

Well AW does require 100% affection, maybe she's showing

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Is it bad I can imagine Spica shoving it in everyone face... then commanding them because she is now the 'queen'.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The story probably isn't meant to be taken seriously but on that topic, how many children will the prince have by the end of all this fuss? Does he even consider the implications of getting women who fight for him pregnant and unable to combat? While at it, when is prince going to get his picture renewed when just about everyone else has. He's looking awfully shabby at this point.

Life as a man (that's not the prince) must suck in the story. Few in number, moreover most of them are weak and even if you wanted to praise the gender ratio, all of them get the D by the prince leaving the men with nothing. Well, on the bright side, there's always alcohol...

Considering the fact units are summoned, magically consume another units and can have exact twins/triplets/etc, they are not exactly(if at all) human. Most logical theory would be clones of powerful warriors summoned with divine power. ~Kind of~ like Third Magic from Nasuverse.. and I have no problem making parallels between Aigis and corrupted Grail. :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

So then at the end we'll find out that the goddess we worshiped was actually a demoness and we've been fooled into serving her whims the entire time?

Sounds... actually pretty close to reality.

I imagine that we're not actually supposed to put things like duplicates and unit sacrificing into the storyline though as it would come out as a horror story. Human cloning, daily human sacrifices, suspicious ceremonies to raise the power(affection) of soldiers and the list goes on. Why suspicious? Because you don't go from superior and subordinate to a bed scene the next minute from the presentation of a few jewelry or flowers. There's clearly some brainwashing going on behind the scenes without us knowing about it.

When thinking in that context, the goddess being the last boss actually fits together pretty well. The final confrontation with her would probably start with the player shouting: "You ^$%& give me back the SC's I spent on you!".

Yeah... I was just stating that flash still isn't that great on any browser in OSX. Chrome has historically been a bit slow in adopting HTML5 standards and quick to push Flash. I guess Safari being ahead of the game in java/html5 makes sense considering the whole HTML5 vs Flash war that happened between Apple and Google a few years back.

Also, all my tests were with hardware acceleration both on and off. Slight to moderate performance increase with it off in Chrome and Opera (mostly in the menus), but nothing significant. Safari is still lightyears ahead on two different machines I tested.

I kinda like that, we need some GARcher to inspire men in Aigis.

See what you are missing is they get all the village girls to themselves.... besides Karma... she is mine and they will die by my blade if they try anything. Also can't forget all the female dragons we didn't add to our harem... I mean if Echidna and Anya have humanoid forms as well as whatever the hell Dorania is.... that is a lot of horny dragon girls... Add on the other races....

We pretty much just add warrior women and notable women they wouldn't have a chance with to our harem... so.... it isn't that bad.

That... that isn't in the canon lore... that is just gameplay mechanics... that don't even happen in the eyes of our beloved girls.... and our self-projected prince.
(This is the reason I refuse to use more than one of any given character)
