Personally I think the ninth map is way harder than FBX or Golden wolves. The only difficulty about FBX was having the right units (one that can solo the Efreets in time and something to block the Onis, other than that just any ranged damage). In the ninth map you need more variety in your units and timing (placement as well as skill activation) is crucial. So while having the right units at proper levels you might/will still fail a lot. Whereas FBX could be cleared in the second run (or even in the first if you knew what units you needed)

I'm running low on gold again from all of this leveling I'm doing. What's the strategy for making some money? I see some people around here with several million and I know some of them at least are dropping crystals to keep doing runs, but I never feel like I'm making much gold off of the runs themselves, so I'm not even sure how that's happening.

I don't even know where to go from here. I can commission sortie any story map. Are people still doing Pastoral Gate and selling the units? Is that a thing? That's not worth a ton either. I need to scrape up some cash for AW and more leveling.

It's simple. Monday daily. Farm Golden Armor H and you should never have problems with gold (unless you regularly do 2k summons or once awakening kicks in)

Also what should I be doing to clear War of Magic? Even with buffs from the shop (ranged damage/unit points), I can't clear it with 50CC30-50CC40 witches. They just can't handle the initial wolves in time. Don't tell me I need something ridiculous like capped level witches AND the ranged attack boost. The 30% boost should be overkill as is.

It's not that much about damage (with the 30% the might do okay, but I don't know, I used Bellinda + Calliope Max level). The bigger problem is cost. If I remember correctly you need Cloris and one Calliope at 11 cost and one Calliope at 12 cost (so a total of 38 UC). This might be with the +5UC buff though (for me it was 16+11=27 for the initial rush)

Difficulty is going up over time, some spikes because we did skip some events. As of now, two loli events and way-back-when Yurina. On the bright side, when Yurina comes, even the newer players will have a good shot at her.

I cleared Dark Night X with four healers, glad I didn't combine my spare Fedora just yet.

Horace is better because she is easier to get maxed. Also, while she attack slower, after AW her attack is monstrous. And her AW skill allows her to shoot twice per attack, which wins points on cool factor alone. Charlotte definitely is not bad, but overall I'd say Horace edges out by a bit more.

Our Magic Fencers cost the pre-nerf amount without the pre-nerf stats, I think. So no matter what happens with them, it will be a buff for us.

Okay, i'm done with event. Dark Night X and both G maps just 2*, but that is enough for perfect Horace.

Now i need level my units and fast. What map you guys using to farm plat fairys? Is Phalanx 2 best? And how about Cellias passive, does it affect in challenge maps?

I'm just going to consider myself stuck on War of Magic until we get the cost reduction on witches. It's not feasible for me to have two low-cost CC Calliopes. I don't have enough spare witches for that. Regarding Fayne's cost analysis for deployment, I can do 40 instead of 38, but the extra two seconds are costing me on the final deploy, I guess. I can have the first two out when the wolves come out with the unit point boost.

Regarding money, I do Golden Armor H when I can (provided I'm not doing last minute grinding for an event on that day), but the money never seems to last. Commission Sortie has really helped push my levels but has also really hurt my wallet. I guess I'll just supplement it with Pastoral Gate runs when it gets bad enough.

Enough for now with those tries to 3 star last map on main acc. Enough with all tries on all accs for now. Gonna try again later, now I'll focus on dailies and lvling my teams. Maybe after a bit of rest I'll stop making stupid mistakes which costs me 3 starring -,-'



About gold. Always did H map of monday daily and my amount of gold was rising very quickly, no matter what I did - lvling units, CC'ing, doing 2k summons.

As I said, don't take those numbers too seriously. It's kust what I think I remember from someone posting anywhere in this thread.
Actually even 38 sounds a bit high. In my setup (16 Belinda and 11 Calliope, no +5UC buff) I'm pretty sure I would not have been able to place another 11 cost Calliope within the first rush. But I might be wrong

How? I'm leveling my units up to over level 60 before I start using Tin Cans and do 2k summons occasionaly, but I even gain gold per week? Weird

Actually Phalanx 2 has a higher rate for plat faries (and much more affection items): Phalanx 2: 15 Sta/Plat Fairy; Womens Battle 3: 16.7 Sta/Plat Fairy. So if you don't need black fairies you should go with Phalanx 2 actually. And the spirit dailies are pretty much a waste of Charisma/Stamina unless oyu want Rainbow Fairies

I'm pretty sure your units would not be enough for FBX. Kerry alone will not be enough (unless her skill is 4 or 5) to solo the Efreets and your other units are even further away from doing this. So you's have to delay and weaken them with Bashira first and delay them with valkyries, bandits whatever. As for the Onis: Since you have neither Karma nor Anya and too few ranged damage dealers at an appropriate level I don't think you'd be able to kill them all.

What story missions do you usually farm? It is probably better to do all around efficient maps like immortal beast, dragon hunting, etc. than run pastoral gate. You look back on farming that and think it was a waste of charisma once you get a few golden armors to break out of poverty.

Not really, Pastoral Gate still offers a very good Gold:Charisma ratio, it's right behind the Monday dailies. It's also available every day of the week and actually runnable during Events where you usually don't want to waste Stamina.

According to Lafate's Farming Guide, the best maps for farming gold are either Pastoral Gate or Deep Forest Road. Deep Forest Road being better unless you consistently get 5 drops on Pastoral Gate.

That's also what I used to 3* it on my main account (changed a few things here and there though) and it seems like the units the person is using is relatively the same as yours going by your sig.

If you don't have a CC'd Silver Archer laying around I guess you could try using Cloris or maybe your pre-CC'd Bashira might do. Instead of the Bandit, unless you have a Silver or better decently leveled laying around, you could substitute Kerry she should be able to survive with 4 healers out. Themis could be used for the second Lich, I think I remember you saying you don't have Anya so that's unfortunate you can't use her as a substitute for Yurina.

I think I do remember you saying you have Odette, but if you don't have her CC'd (or maybe pre-CC might be enough?) I guess Solano would have to do. I'm not an expert so I'm not too sure of how big Odette's skill will determine the outcome I mean of course it'll help but I'm not sure if it'll be a definite win or lose thing.

I'm not sure of what to do on that very last king mummy, unless you have a CC'd Leeanne stashed around somewhere or unless Gellius could tank 2 of them or maybe Elaine could block him then withdraw her once the one Gellius is blocking is dead. For the last Lich hopefully only one king mummy is alive then you could just use Charlotte to block him.

I wish I knew. I'm not doing any 2k pulls, so all of the money is going into leveling and I think I went from a mil to 200k in about a week after I got Lilia. And it's been steadily declining from there. I can't seem to get it to go back up even though I've been done leveling her for a while. I've been going back to some new and low-level units instead, which should help, but the gold just poofs into non-existence anyway.

I haven't read that guide in ages. Maybe I just forgot that detail about Deep Forest Road. That's good to know. That's surprising given the increased run cost, though. I'll go back and review that guide.

Stalling, many maps have a certain unit's death triggering the next "wave", so keeping that big mummy alive longer means more UP to spend.

I've found the good maps for fodder give enough gold to use the fodder they drop. Monday dailies just make the gold total grow, and give silvers if you have the patience to spend that gold on 2k gatcha. I would never spend charisma purely on gold and a small amount of account exp.
