(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Ingrid is not in Nutaku Aigis as of yet. She was released relatively recently on DMM, so it is likely that she won't appear on EN Aigis for quite some time.

Still "Another Encounter", yes? If so, this is the strategy I used.

7149058681141ada.png

1. Aria to B (Katie can sub)
2. Iris to L
3. Prince to F
4. Chydis to Q
5. Spica to N
6. Belinda to M (Cloris should be able to sub, and may even perform better at times due to damage boosting skill)
7. Shiho to R
7a. Use Iris and Chydis' skills to ensure survival due to swimmers and Gillman Sahuagin
8. Retreat Aria/Katie/Solider and place Anya at B
9. Odette to P
9a. Victory.
Notes: Odette's skill can offer a little relief from the spitting Sahuagin, especially the swimmers. All units used in this strategy were at max level and affection. Overall, this strategy is rather similar to Nasu's, just that it uses higher tier units and has a different deployment order due to cost and unit vulnerability.

EDIT: If you don't have Chydis, Shiho's skill can be used as a stopgap measure to shore up your healing and stall a swimmer while Fedora, if you have her, should be a generally serviceable replacement to Chydis. Additionally, an archer can be deployed at P in Odette's place to help with swimmers if necessary and retreated and replaced with Odette later.

I'm about to have to go to my next class, so I won't be able to offer any feedback or experiment to try and find other strategies for a few hours. However, I hope this helps.

Gave it go. Went significantly better than previously, but Fedora isn't enough to keep Shiho alive. Maybe if I put Shiho down first, then drop Echidna instead of Fedora. Slightly higher healing power, more time for Shiho (since the swimmer will swim past her to get to Echidna) and Echidna has higher health, so she can tank a few more hits, then using her ability, she can help clearing the rest. Anyway, I'm out of both charisma and stamina, so tomorrow.

My apologies, that was an oversight on my part, Echidna may very well be a better replacement than Fedora. Which swimmer took down Shiho, the first or one of the later ones?

However, in light of this, perhaps it would be better to take advantage of the leftover slots in the team and do a little micromanaging as well. Perhaps instead of starting off with Shiho down there, maybe an archer or Calliope would be a better opener, who can then be retreated and replaced by the next unit in line for that slot. And if it was one of the later swimmers that took down Shiho, perhaps use one of those slots to bring along Fedora anyways and perhaps delay or retreat Odette and use her as a third healer to shore up the bottom row. A little short on stamina as of yet, but if I get a chance before you do, I'll see if I can experiment a little with some variations of that tactic and come up with something that will work with the units you have.

Completed the map, yes. Only one star since Shiho got knocked out and one of those bigger walking fishes managed to slip through. It didn't kill anyone, it just walked past while Anya was busy with the others. Problem is that Shiho could barely get the HP of the first fish to the halfway point. Fedora was nowhere near enough to keep her alive. So that's why I think that switching the placement order and inviting the fire on Echidna instead could work. And once that pesky first fish is down, I can activate Echidna's skill to make sure that nothing slips by. I can keep Echidna alive (hopefully) by activating Shiho's skill (especially that her skill is at 4/5).

I did bring backup, I always start every level with a full roster. But yeah, not much to replace Shiho with unfortunately. I don't have Belinda or Bashira, Cloris and Spica were already on the field, and Stray is only any good with his skill activated, and I don't have the time for that and the rest are silvers.

Edit: Oh, and everybody I fielded was max level / max affection. Okay, Shiho is just lvl 69, but I don't think that one level would make or break things here.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Comparing Christopher and Roberto?
You're kidding right?
Roberto Attack after Skill AW is 2K IIRC
Is there any man out there having 2K attack other than Roberto?

Roberto's a shit-tier healer, he gets 311 at 50CC60 while Christopher gets 328 at 50CC50, no point AWing him either since you'll never need that many Trust items, you'll get more than what you want just by doing maps and Events normally. There isn't a single male-only map in the game that can't be cleared with just Silvers and there likely never will be, Gold+ males are mostly Premium-exclusive after all.

And if you actually give a damn about a unit that only attacks 30 seconds every 70 with the slow attack speed of a healer, your team's probably strong enough to clear the map without it.

Edit: Oh wait, forgot about GRs, AW1's good enough though, no point wasting resources further.

Finished map 8 in three tries.

First try failed because I couldn't predict the paths properly.

Second try failed because I couldn't DPS the black demon enough, and it reached Marie.

Third try, got everything mostly perfect, though RNG fucked me over a bit when Saki got overwhelmed and Berna was preoccupied. Still managed to recover and clear the last part fairly easily. No drops though, which was bullshit.

Map 9, on the other hand... Six tries later and I'm still stumped on how to handle the gilman rush. Nothing short of solid RNG assassination luck seems to work for me.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

If you're lurking out there Draa, thanks for them Strats. That Spica + Solano combo.

Got pretty good Minerva RNG during the Gilman rush, but even without it it would have worked.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

23 stars right now. Need to hit the god map and I somehow leaked 2 units on Pirate Counter X. I think it was due to using Spica on the right side by the water instead of Bashira. I think some fish got in.

If I might make a suggestion put Bashira directly on top of the rock and put Spica or if you have Daniella place her at the boat, however make sure you put Spica/Daniella first, then Bashira. Personally I'd choose Daniella mostly since their DPS is way too high, but if Spica works for you then never mind.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Those fish are crazy. Their attack speed and damage are absolutely nuts. Melting through my archers like paper. How significant of a difference is their damage/attack speed from the original DMM map?

Pretty significant judging by Nasu's videos.

I mean just look at how Daniella just solos three of them at once; you try to do that in this version and she'd be deder than ded.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Christ, that was a nightmare. Needed Berna/Saki/Minerva assassinating most things and Bernice covering the leaks, among other bullshit.

Shiho is amazing on this map again due to slowing the gilman rush and helping keep tanks alive for one of the assassins to hopefully deal with the fish. Failing that, Solano does admirably well for the first three-quarters of the map.

All bets are off with the last wave, though. Bernice can safely tank everything with two healers, but I couldn't safely deploy Nanaly to damage much of anything, so I vainly dropped Karma in the middle to aggro everything and prayed for a miracle. Except it wasn't a vain move at all. I pulled through because Minerva managed to assassinate everything, INCLUDING THE BLACK DEMONS. Didn't even think that was likely, but hey, with all the luck involved on this map, I ain't complaining.

Bashira handled it like a damn champ. The fish never stacked above 2 due to her triple shot. I had Fedora in the bottom left ranged spot and Iris in the top area so I'm pretty sure she was able to be healed by 2 healers once I popped Fedora's skill.

That if Bashira could activate her skill as soon the damn fish shows up
If not.... well the cat is killed by the fish

I drop by every so often, no worries I will catch things if you do mention me.

Glad Spica+Solano worked out well, that map is such a 'Solano' saving the world, spika-cover and Minerva is too op.

Usually, magical damage and Berenice, you need early deploys that generate deployment costs. That means soldier + valks first, and then followed up with heavy armor and witch/mage.

But that's standard tactics, you probably need something more specific since you are down to relying on assaination RNG.

@Roberto
After AW, he increase male affection item drop, which isn't nearly as important as female affection drop. Also, his AW skill is ignorable, as someone from JP side who has almost all of the AW skills for AW units, ignorable means just that.

Cat killed by fish
Bashira is a cat-girl and receives no bonus against fishies. Blame the girl part, maybe you want a pet-cat Bashira instead? j/k of course.

So sad Roberto.....
If only he is a monk...
That GAR look is wasted~

I was saving Bernice for the black demons later. Still need to get my backup Bernices up to speed (because I don't feel like raising Gellius or Deine).

That said, Garania wasn't working, Solano wasn't working, I don't know how much magic I would've needed short of an AW'd Despara or something.

Also, I had both Julian and Aria get their reinforcements out before the gilmen rush, so I had no issue with UP on that map.
