i see, in that case. any one still got that channel from over a year ago with the guy who would clear maps with the lowest level / rarity team possible? i think to boot, he would only use units you would get from map clears bonuses too.

i know his were great to follow for new players.

Unfortunately he is completely inactive, so the desert maps won't be covered there, but that's probably not really high priority for you right now anyway.

I finally managed to work out a foolproof way to grind Reunion G:

Spoiler

1. Aria to A.
2. Spica to N.
3. Activate Aria's skill as soon as possible.
4. Activate Anelia's skill.
5. Odette to P.
6. Prince to F.
7. Activate Spica's skill.
8. Iris to O.
9. Activate Aria's skill again as soon as it becomes available.
10. Claudia to E. (Or any other <18 UP duelist that you can heal: Valkyries, Bandits, etc. I'm not sure that magic fencers are sturdy enough.)
11. Click on Odette and hover the cursor over her skill button. Activate it as soon as the King of the Dead appears, but before he would hit Claudia.
12. Wait until Claudia engages the King of the Dead, then put Alissa to L immediately.
13. Dorca to K.
14. Activate Iris' skill.
15. That's it, everything will be automatically taken care of after this.

The key issue is handling the King of the Dead well. As in:
a) Your duelist should be the last to unit you put up before it arrives.
b) Always have Odette's skill up up before the that damn lich would first hit. Especially if you don't have your duelist up for whatever reason: Odette is a one hit kill for that thing.

Key unit stats:

Spica: AW77, 5/5 skill (she's probably good to go on a much lower level as well)
Aria: CR min (her other stats are not important, since he won't engage anything)
Iris: CR -1, AW50, 2/5 skill
Claudia: CC70
Alissa: CR -2
Dorca: CR -2
Odette: CR min, CC70 8/16 skill (if you are using a duelist without MR, it should be higher)

I use a similar strategy and there there's only like 2 skills which I need to use.

4. Prince at H (right when the 2nd pumpkin is going).
5. Chydis at P (right after prince).
6. Lyla at E.
7. Alissa at K.
8. Aria skill ASAP and return Aria.

11. Bashira skill when lower pumpkins are getting by her.
12. Spicca at J (just for ensurance).

My Units:
Aria -> min cost
Bashira -> CC56
Chydis -> CC59
Lyla -> CC40
Alissa -> CC50, CR-1
Iris -> AW47, CR-1
Odette -> AW40
Spicca -> AW44

No need to even use healer skills.
Iris will take the 1st lich king hit and be full HP asap.
Lyla will take the brunt of the damage and 3 healer will be enough.
Odette will take a couple of hits but will be just fine, Chydis can get her HP up and the other 2 healer will focus on Lyla. Iris will still get hit by some smaller lichs but silver healer is there to keep things safe.

VERY IMPORTANT:
The only thing is not to forget Bashira's skill to kill the lower pumpkins (and even if you forget you'll at most leak the big one and get Imelia killed)

Damn, why haven't I thought of that? Aria is kinda useless after the two skill uses anyway. If I remove her, then I can easily place a silver healer before Claudia, making the entire plan significantly safer.

And yeah, your version is better, but I don't have Chydis, Lyla and Bashira, so I work with what I have.

I should really use all these at some point....maybe I should buy the third barracks and use that for fairy storage.

I use mine 2:2 with the bronze super fodder units from the desert. I probably won't use any plat armors on gold units again.

Key Kii has a pretty good channel for F2P stategies. I saw an awakened Chydis in a recent video, but she didn't look necessary for the strategy.

In other news, Reunion G already sucks.

Six runs: blind fail, blind fail, used video for easy win 9 Souls, fail because I placed Rika on accident, win 24 Souls, win 9 Souls. So the slightest mistake cost me a run and two of my three completed runs are awful drops. Great game.

That is pretty much exactly how things went for me.

soon™.... in other words. could be this week, could be next or even next month when they just announce. just hope it's sooner rather then later.


so i put another $100 into my account in hopes of pulling something good to get some souls. my minimum goal is 200 for the cost reduce -1. i'd be extremely happy with 300 for -2 cost but dont want to spend crystals if i can help it. only problem is, i dont know if i can clear anything above imprisoned soul.

any low level tips for clearing the next highest map?

some gold units are cost reduced like julian so i prefer him over katie.

im probably gonna skip farming all togethor tomorrow since i have 3 tin cans, but no fairies to use them with.

#1 - stop rolling premium gacha RIGHT NOW. Higher level units > getting new units. Higher level units = easier time getting new event units. New gacha units are going to do you exactly ZERO good. You already have a bunch of blacks which is more than 99% of players can say.
#2 - Get the 1.2x exp and 1.5x gold mods in the Shop. Those are perfect to get for right around your level and should last you well into level 100. Very much worth it.
#3 - Time to grind those story missions. With the 1.2x exp buff, you should be able to nonstop push your way into level 90+ with free level up refills and will be getting a boatload of unit xp and gold as you go. Focus on leveling a handful of girls at a time and pick levels that have a good mix of gold/unit xp/prince xp. There are a few quick and easy to read stat sheets/guides in the first post of this thread that are still relevant to the current game. You will level your girls in no time doing this. If you have extra charisma right before you're about to level, Sacred Forest, Goddess Shrine, and Pastoral Gate are good low prince xp stamina dumps. Sell the units from these for gold as they're not worth it for unit fodder xp.
#4 - Come back to the event when its about to end and use your newfound powerful army to more easily get souls from harder missions. You could spend SC here for refills if you want to get more souls.

P.S. - save those plat cans and fairies for when your units are higher level. Don't worry so much about them now. They will save you a lot of gold using them on higher level girls (e.g. skipping lvl 40-50 pre-cc costs with 1 plat can). I'd even recommend saving them until your girls are awakened, but I probably wouldn't have the patience for that either.

got her. I've never used angels on this version or DMM so I actually don't know how good they are, is she worth leveling up? I kind of only want to bother with her if she is useful on a lot of maps

Thats Crystal keeper G 3*, I tried all sorts to kill the one fucking eye near the start, after a lot of positioning of Bashira, Spica and Rita I found nothing, bringing in Vincent and Xiao did nothing.
Turned out the answer was staring me in the face with Monica. I also had to use Saki near the end, always nice to bring these units out of the barracks.

Granted there are huge differences between blacks, but there isn't a single black unit that wouldn't worth leveling or to be put in your team. Well, that is unless you have ALL the premium summon units.

As much as I don't like to say this, Angels are immensely more useful than Summoners. Worst case scenario, you can just drop Sophie to be a lightning rod. Just look at her MR. Sophie also has the highest attack stat in the game and with good reason. She absolutely shreds things. Angels do require a bit of planning, but they are great. There is a reason why even the silver-only people use Niel quite often.

Only problem with Sophie is that she needs a high skill level. And that problem is compounded by her x/10 skill compared to the usual x/5. But, since all Angels have the same skill, any spare Niels that you don't need can be fed to Sophie.

Really man, she is good.

She's not all bad. She's one of the best lightning rods you'll ever have, and if you AW her she adds passive healing to your whole team while her skill is on cd or not being used. The big thing with her is that (thanks to the new TP silvers) you can skill her up with the silver angel. Her skill is a huge part of how effective she is, going from 15s duration and 34s cooldown to 30s duration and 25s cd. She's the first unit I know that makes having 20 elaines somewhat worthwhile.
