And I just had a generic archer's deployment value become 5 from 6, why did that happen? And what effected that?

Edit: I see, and thank you ziodyne and dartred. So that was why, my Generic archer got fed three geeneric archers and said it couldn't reduce it's points any further.

And I want at least one valkyrie, anyone know where I can get one in quests?

I put an army of generics in Pastoral Gate, had fun. lol

You must have combined it with another of the same copy. Sometimes when you combine copies of the same unit their cost will decrease well it's 100% for the first time anyway.

on rarity silver or higher. bronze and iron wont always work first time.

You should really save almost all of your silver units for class changes and awakening though. Maybe look to cost reduce Alisa and keep all of your Dorcas for class changes.

For premium units (non event units) the chance to cost reduce is 100%, then 50%, then 25%. -3 is the max. I forget the chances for event units, but -5 is the max.

Fairies don't do anything on their own. They simply increase the exp other fodder givees by a factor. The factor is 2 when the rarity of the fariy is the same as the units or 1.5 if not.
An Example: Let's say you want to level a silver unit, for example Cecily. You feed her one bronce soldier at level 20, which would give 165 Exp. If you add a gold fairy now, this will increase to 247 (165*1.5) and if you add another gold fairy (or anything not silver) to 371 (165*1.5*1.5). If you add a silver fairy (same rarity as Cecily) to the bronze soldier as fodder instead, you'll get 330 exp (165*2) and if you add another bronze soldier 660 ((165+165)*2)

Furthermore: Do NOT use faries on generics (which is what you call them, we say iron or bronze units) or level them at all. It's pretty much wasted ressources for now (later on it can be good to level a mincosted bronze soldier and maybe even a mage, but that's pretty advanced). Concentrate on your silvers (Soma/Daniela, who ever you like better; Alyssa/Dorca; Leanne; Phyllis) as well as Katie, Cloris (as soon as you get her, she's a gold witch from the last Urgent Mission Drill) and Bashira (platinum archer, you should have gotten her directly after the first mission). And I personally wouldn't even start trying to get Cost reduction on my silvers. They are just to valuable untill you can safely farm them during events

you combine units with the same skill to increase a units skill. combining the same unit with itself may also lower it's unit points cost. making it easier to summon. so try feeding 2 of cecilys to just 1 and see if you can cost reduce her by 2 and skill her up by 2.

the spirits are used to increase the exp you receive when combining units. first choose a unit, then use 3 spirits of the same rarity as you one you are feeding the exp too and you can get up to 8X the exp it was going to give.

Honestly probably shouldn't feed silvers to each other at this stage in the game, especially rogues. You'll be missing them when it comes time to evolve all your units.

And i'm going to be stubborn and have at least one army of generics. I like generics. They're pretty much the only reason why I went and liked this game. Cuz its always funnier to win with generics for me.

Just be sure to save them from now on. Each silver/gold unit requires a silver unit + a fairy of their rarity to evolve, and each plat/black unit requires three silvers. And when you get to awakening for gold+ units sometime down the line you'll need six silvers per unit to awaken.

Nor does Aigis actually. You can clear 5 % of the maps with Bronze and Iron units, tops. More likely less. Even with silver units, who are way, way stronger, even some crazy people can't complete everything
This game is hard, but manageable when you are patient. Don't make it even harder for yourself than the craziest people

Edit: Well, maybe that did sound a little harsher than I intended. I just remember dropping the game for a short while, because the difficulty spikes made farming necessary and without events (that was before Belinda, the first event) there was nothing that motivated me to grind. Therefore I just wanted to keep you from dropping a great game, just because you make it even harder for yourself. But obviously you can do whatever you like best. Neither have I the intention nor the right to tell you what to do

Eh, I dunno, I'm all for people trying things their own way.
He can try seeing how far he can get with Bronze/Iron only armies, and then switch to stronger units when he starts to find it unviable.
It's a game after all, so he should really just try whatever he finds most satisfying.

also, Ericridge, if you check the Aigis wiki's story mission page, it'll tell you which units you get. You can get a silver valkyrie from Deep Forest Road & Citadel Battle, according to it.

Plus, don't forget to give the once per day free summon in the Shrine a go. You usually get Iron & Bronze units from it, but you sometimes get Silvers and above too.

Use it on a unit at level 40 to be effecient, Archer and healer get range boost out of CC so they should be your first priority, Nanaly being best archer in the game and one of the best units overall too means she should be first if possible, you haven't got 3 black fairys though so ignore that. Iris is your best healer so she's first here, Julian and a silver heavy armour need to be raised along with Despara.

You gotta choose a duelist group to go with and a duelist. Valks or Bandits, both are good but better to concentrate on one group till you're much higher.

Check this for good levels to use exp armours at.

Just as a friendly advice I would save the tin cans for the last exp boost in order to save money. So gold Units is ~lvl40->50 and plat units ~41->50 (you should check the exp table in the wiki for the exact values).

Also I wouldn't further level up the 2 Julians, they might help you now but it's going to be wasted exp. If you have no other reliable soldier get 1 CC and then cannibalize the other with 3 gold fairies for a massive exp boost (again wait for lvl 40+ to minimize costs).

Regarding what to level might be tricky and will depend on how much time/events you might be willing to skip or just go for bare minimum.
-A CC gold Soldier will be really useful, often required to get things done easier.
-A CC healer is another requirement for later stages so don't forget to give some love to Iris
-You also seem a bit lacking on mage/witch department, so as a minor objective getting cloris and the white beard guy would be good after taking care of the previous 2 units
(Note: only go for male mage if you're not going to be using premium gatcha much, I heard the gold girls are quite good but I personally don't have any. Also the silver girl is also not bad with her skill being atk+ which makes her one of the highest atk mages if I'm not mistaken)
-Regarding archers you got both goddesses. They'll take a bit to CC but they're worth it. (Their downsize is their higher cost so you should try to get a silver archer CCed in the future, at cost 9-10 they're pretty solid units)

Regarding what you should do, it is a bit tricky situation.
I would probably get that soldier CC 1st (already at lvl34 so not much left), then quickly bring him to lvl20 and stop there.
I wouldn't work on many more CCs at this point, unit exp is low and getting any unit to lvl40-41 to use tin can would take a while.
My thoughts would be to get every unit on main team at least lvl30 and try to 1* castle retake and move on (abuse your soldiers skill and then use trashes as lighting rod). If you're still struggling to be done with it, try to get nanally or bashira to higher levels and abuse their skill to quickly take down the lich.

As a last advice, don't look down on silver units.
They're cheap, "easy" to CR and you can complete most of the content with full silver teams. Just focusing on the golds/plats/blacks will hurt you by limiting you to those units, gimping your variety of tactics you may be able to employ.

Yet, this is just my personal opinion based on how I usually play the game, it isn't in any way the best/most optimized way to play. And if you're willing to use SCs then things may take a different route.
