as a free player I find it unnecessary to get the exp buff at the start since SCs are precious, and I'd rather stock them up for the 1st set of 50 for rolling hopefully decent premium units, and I find exp buff only useful if you're stacking charisma refills with it to get the most out of the exp buff in the first place. It's not an issue for whales like Larcx that just throw SCs of course.

I didnt have any issues getting to clearing crystal keeper H by my 2nd week of gameplay in dmm, and clearing golden armor H by my 1st week without the exp buff either.

and you guys are forgetting that eric is effectively no different from a newbie who just started playing aigis without experience/guide, and you expect him to know he 'should' buy exp buff when he's leveling so quickly at the start? rofl.

I'll so just take a min cost if I can get it (hahaha, like hell, I've gotten... 7 so far this entire event, even after a few SC) and if I have to force feed her Rainbows for the rest of time to get her skill sorted out... Screw it, I'm never going to manage to get anything "lucky" out of the gacha, so Waltz is looking pretty mandatory. (See bitching a few pages back =P If not for event and trading post units I would be, as they say, a sad panda)


You know, I know she's not especially great or central to strats or anything... But I still want my damn black angel. (These days the only time I roll on the Gacha is when she's favored)

On totally unrelated news: Man I felt stupid when I was like "Wow, Half Elf Yuyu (Something new for once, thanks demon goddess =P) has abnormally high attacks, Cloris is awakened and 40, and she'd just 50cc50 and has more attack than she does... Wow her HP is low... Oh wait, half elf, she's using the elf stat adjustments. Huhdoy."

Free players should not be rolling premium gacha at all. Ever. Its the absolute worst thing you can spend SC on in this game, efficiency wise. I suppose if you just want a crappy and underpowered team in exchange for that endorphin rush of a new girls face (its just a game afterall, do what you want), then sure, go for it. But saying a premium gacha roll is worth more than the exp buff for starting players is straight up objectively wrong.

Hoping for a decent unit with mere 50 crystals premium is what the newbie exactly should NOT do. Beginners must spend crystals carefully as you say. Gacha is the last of those things.

Other than raising the essential silver units, getting to Lv64, then to Lv100 is the most important thing, if you want to reference basically any guide. We old timers take Lv99 Savior prince as granted, b/c it's the basic of basics. This is not true for new players.

If you know exactly what you are doing, Lv100 can be done with a single investment of x1.2 buff. Even if you don't, you will still get there faster.

New players can continue to restart until they get a desired unit from gacha, though this is time consuming and very boring. With that said a good black unit is infinitely better than exp boost.

It's nothing to do with being a whale or not. As I've said before, if you're seriously playing, it can make a huge difference in helping you catch up. It can be the difference between waiting 30 minutes for charisma to level up vs around 3-4 hours early on.

If you have higher level units, you have a higher chance of completing events. More levels = more unit exp = more prince levels, simple as that.

It's actually even MORE efficient now since you guys have auto complete. Before we didn't get exp buff for 20 days, and we also had to manually run each map on top of that.

Dancer of Delirium... bug???

Could anyone here help me confirm that they got Waltz drop from the Dancer of Delirium mission (3 stamina)?? I'm pretty sure I've got DC drop from Waltz in that mission and if so... which unit that will drop Waltz??

That's called Reset Marathon, and has very little to do with what we are talking about. Reset Marathon is basically free.
You spend no SCs for reset (or 10~15 SCs, if you want to be picky). The only cost is your time and effort.

What we are talking about is new player who is sticking with what he's got, and don't even have a basic unit called Lv99 Prince yet.
I say this multiple times b/c what the newbies want to do the most is to participate and complete event like everyone else.
The easiest and the fastest way is to sucess is to reference guides.
And ALL guides will expect you to have Lv99 Prince. If you don't believe me, find me a non-Savior Prince guide vid for a G or X map.

And especially after you start with a marathon'ed good black unit, there is 0 reason to Gacha for a freemium player.
Might as well spend those SCs on Barrack Expansions and x1.2 EXP Buff.

I was under the impression we were trying to give him the best advice for a noob and you're trying to tell him to just stick with what he has.. realistically he isn't going to be able to beat the harder stuff with only silvers and units you get in-game and he has already missed a ton of good event units.. he needs a good unit from gacha.

Level 100 prince didn't do me any favors when I was playing lol, it was a nice boost and all but it came down to how good my other units were and the good units are what carried me through events when I was a noob. Strictly speaking of leveling and stuff it is obviously better to be higher and get his titles but silvers and the prince buff aren't going to carry you through the current missions.

That's not necessarily true. If a newbie doesn't blow their sc on gacha, then they can potentially just buy the goddess defense buff for an event and clear it a lot easier. That defense buff makes events a LOT easier than they should be.

Well you have a good point, I did this as well so I know it's true but he'd have to do this every time and eventually I think it would stop working as events keep getting harder. I guess he could work on event units he obtains in that time but I still strongly think he'd need a couple good gacha units.

New players won't be trying to attempt maps like these, that's a terrible example. Players who have been playing since the beginning can't even beat some of the G maps yet. His prince will be well over level 100 before attempting these.

Hmm, if I was going to do something like it, I'd need to start using a different screen recording program though so I could show the ENTIRE walkthrough strategy of actually leveling a fresh account to event ready first. It wouldn't help players much if they couldn't achieve my levels within the event period.

Well you have a good point, I did this as well so I know it's true but he'd have to do this every time and eventually I think it would stop working as events keep getting harder. Just SS's and logs are probably enough. And some vid on a key point would help.

This is a log of a freemium account who knows what he's doing, and made Lv100 in less than a week. And yes he had to spend on x1.2 EXP buff.

He was able to participate, and "clear" G maps in less than three weeks.

That's the whole idea of resetting until you get one good gacha pull, really comes down to how patient someone is. Free players have it rough. If I'm not mistaken aren't you a free player Rawr? What is your opinion on it as a whole, since you're definitely one of the better ones.

I'm not considered the average free player though. Mind you, I didn't bother with rerolling accounts at all. I just went with all silvers, and had no luck at all with my gacha pulls at start. Then randomly because of Altrius, I decided to try premium summon once more and got my first above silver unit, which was Nanaly. <.<

I posted about the drop rate in the beginning of the event it was pretty high for 30 charisma/3 stamina map.Though I was aiming for soldier matieral I got like 4 waltzs before I finished getting my matieral.

My waltz is currently max CR,but 4/10 skill(Which skill is the most important with dancers >_<)

One last thing I want to add.

Reset Marathon, while it definitely is the best advice for a new player who wants best out of a freemium account, is something I'm hesitant to recommend to anyone.

If you are willing to go for it, be prepared. Be Very Prepared.

It's both physically and mentally exhausting. Reward is definitely great, and it is definitely worth it. But if the luck is not on your side...you will feel like a extra cast of 28 Days in a few days.

I myself rolled for a Nanaly. But if you asked me to do it again, I'd probably throw up in your face in horror.
