(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm doing something like this but replacing Eliza and Nenya with lv70 Solano.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

That kind of transparency would be nice, but if they have that kind of problem with their "partner" they have bigger problems to take care of, like sorting that out. Under no circumstance should you be completely unable to communicate with a business partner.

You have to remember that when Nutaku brought Aigis over all they had on their site was LoV and those stupid Luv Slots games, and Aigis was one of the most popular games on DMM. It's not hard to believe (especially knowing what we do about the dev team) that the contract read something like 'the development team gets to do whatever they want or you don't get our game'. It's not like Nutaku would have had much negotiating power at that point either way.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm surprised that there are still people mad at Nutaku about this stupid lack of care for Aigis; they've made it clear that they aren't pleased with how the developers are handling the game either; that's why they're trying to get the source code and put out updates on their own schedule.

If Nutaku isn't careful about what they say about their interactions with the devs, they could step on some toes that they really can't afford to. At best, they don't gain anything from it other than a slightly happier group of fans. At worst, doing so would further delay their acquisition of the code and make it harder to get any cooperation from them at all. If you're going to rage at them for this being their fault, at least post some specific thing they aren't doing that you think they should be. (More specific than "they should put their foot down and get the developers to comply already" because that's just saying "they should fix the problem," which doesn't say much of anything)

Anyhow, just sayin this cause it gets kind of old seeing the same old 'Nutaku get your act together' crap every time the game has an obnoxiously long break or delay on promised content. They don't want unhappy customers either, so they're gonna be doing everything they can. I get that we all want to point the blame at someone and express our frustration and stuff, but let's try and be reasonable here.

Side note: Anyone know what the rates for silvers from base summon are? I am down to five non-pirate non-samurai silvers for fodder... Really want to AW my Sybilla >_<

And somehow we still have Luv Slots. :(

If I recall correctly, I wanna say it was something like 2.5% chance.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Nobody is blaming Nutaku for the breaks and if they are, they shouldn't be. We're conplaining about a lack of communication for the delay in content. Since the only way to really communicate with the devs is via in game ticket, complaints go to the one we actually can communicate with.

Are you trying to imply that Luv Slots is not one of the best adult games of all time?

I see, thanks. So roughly 40*2000=80,000g per silver unit then? That doesn't sound too bad...
*inb4 rolling three Giovannis in ten base summons -.-*

In all seriousness, an update on how the supposed code transfer is going and an acknowledgement that compensation for the repeated event delays would be considered would alleviate 99% of the complaints in my mind. Otherwise, people are just going to quit/move to DMM full-time en masse.

Asking people to "take a break" is akin to saying "go play other games and maybe come back to this game never". That's not the kind of "advice" you should be giving ever.

Agreed, and I think Nutaku knows that, at least to some extent. To me that shows how helpless they are to do anything more regarding Aigis, since they are resorting to telling people to not play their game =/

I'd like to be an optimist and say that I think the current delay might be the Aigis devs pulling back their translation and content conversion efforts in anticipation of a switch over to Nutaku, but being hopeful doesn't seem to be a great idea with NAigis ^^'

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

If you are negotiating a deal with a business partner, you do not shit talk your partner to your customers, whether or not they deserve it. They are your business partner. You owe them respect.

Tea Team has proven themselves unworthy of respect for a year and a half now. In fact, they've been actively shitting all over the EN player base by refusing to implement missing but approved content that Nutaku has cleared for at least a year now. No one owes them a damn thing. Fuck them. And fuck Nutaku for not doing shit about it. They're pretty much a beaten spouse in this partnership, constantly apologizing because it's apparently their fault that they're being hit and not because the other party is doing something wrong to them. They've had chances to fix this. And they've also shown just how they really feel about their player base with this "take a break" nonsense.

On a related note, I'm done with this version. At least the devs will be nice to me if I pretend to be Japanese.

Enjoy the second half of the Odette event. Whatever you're getting next, I probably already have it on DMM anyway.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Nutaku isn't nowhere near the worst in this type of business. They've shown themselves competent enough with how they are handling their other games. Forgoing the LoV edits, which weren't that bad, the Osawari edits, which they've stopped(?), and Lavender on FKG, which they reversed, there haven't been too many problems. Most, if not all, of their other games are pulling in people and getting constant events.

I can't speed for Blacksheep and Conrad, but maybe I'm playing the advocate because everything I've touched is crap in some way and I've learned to deal.

As for communication, Nutaku is probably thinking that relaying no news is better than relaying bad news.

Edit: Have fun Dave. Too bad you're missing some of the good stuff that is locked on my account!!!

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

last year, didn't DMM get 30 SC (1 a day) for their break and we got 1?

if we are lucky they may give us another apology crystal lol.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

60 SC.

If Nutaku gave out plat+ tickets, it'd be a start at rectifying the blatant favoritism DMM has, etc.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

are we even in the right timeline of when the tickets were introduced?

on a side note. do black tickets exist or was plat+ the highest?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Of course not.

That didn't stop us from getting stuff like level 300 cap when nobody asked for it.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Remember that we got Commission Sortie around a year earlier than JP players did.

THAT SHOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH COMPENSATION. FORWARD SLASH ESS.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

After the six-week break and when people were sufficiently pissed off with Dev Tea that Nutaku finally had to step in and insist on the request for us.

Hardly compensation, either way.

it was for a huge unit dupe bug at that time not for a break and another solid amount was given out along with a gr event ive never see a real break on dmm

also i agree no news is better than bad news or were trying our best but sorry cause knowing that everythings shit just makes quitting more likely for some

really as far as im aware this is the first atempt at games of this sort for us audiences of cource there will be bumps for some games aegis was released when they had bs rules in place for the content they can release from what theyve said and really all of fkg says this aswell those seem to not be around as much or at all so games that come out now will have less troubles in that regard maybe there original contract is getting in the way maybe something that is pointless to us is getting in the way theres tons of things that could be happening

im more then willing to wait to see what happens no amount of stupid complaints will actually help right now im sure there just as if not more pissed then us aegis is a quality product that im sure they want to succeed and are doing everything in there power to do so

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

My theory on code drop is...it ain't happening.

One doesn't just give code out. You sell it.
You may ask, "doesn't Nutaku already have the rights?"
Answer is no. Right now, they are only a host. Very easy to tell by their impotence.
Source release is a whole another level of licensing in software business.

So Nutaku has to "Buy" the code if they want the full control.
And my guess is that the expected price of the code between Nutaku and JP Dev's differ quite alot.

It's natural, really. Both the JP Dev and Nutaku would value the code by the revenue they generate from the game.
And I bet you JP version makes whole alot of tons more than the Nutaku version.
It's very possible that the price offered by JP Dev doesn't make any sense to Nutaku's revenue.

Of course, all of this is just a fictional guess by my own work as software engineer.
And as everytime I'm being pessimistic like this, I hope I'm wrong.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

They must be really in need of money coming because this last "event", combined with the excessive number of breaks, is a clear new attempt to make us buy crystals to boost our accounts, since looks like the normal events aren't doing this job right.
I'll be honest, I don't have much hope with this game staying longer in Nutaku, either by Nutaku or DMM developers fault.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm calling it. JP Aigis devs is Sega v2.0 due to all your comments about them lol.

Its sad to see history repeating itself.
