Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)
Going to be honest, as a new player I absolutely appreciate DMM starting to put old event units as drops during GRs, during events, etc. It allows me as a new player to get to the point I can access new events faster and easier. It took me about 3-4 months to get to the point I could max new event units, sometimes not quite due to a particularly difficult map, but still.
I don't view making event units less rare a bad thing. For players who already have them, great, don't bother farming them, or if you do farm them you can hand them in for RC or use them as jump starts on other units due to their platinum rarity.
Sure some people will be upset that their exclusive units are less so, but ultimately I don't think anyone should feel that way. Making the game more accessible is important because it draws in new blood. If it takes a newbie 6-7 months to get up to speed as opposed to 3-4, they're much more inclined to leave the game rather than stick with it.
Ironically Nutaku does this too, but in a way that hurts the veteran players who are sitting on piles of gold, affection, and fairies. Personally I have over 100 of the lower 3 tiers of affection items and 10 or so diamonds. At the pace Nutaku is going I could never spend that much affection unless I went full whale or started maxing out silvers.
Pace is dictated by availability and personal player interest.
With past event units becoming more and more available, there is less of a need to farm for any one event unit at any one given time. You can spread your charisma and stamina across so many different things and still get stuff done.
