(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

At the moment just missing 3* the last mission, only need to get the timing right, anything else is quite fine.
Also, is Return the Field a better investment than Base Scramble II? Seems the same amount of drops (and that samurai also is a exp+ unit) and they're higher level.

On normal drop rate BSII is always better, but I think with drop rate at 1.5x its better to go after the higher lvl units.I think thats what I heard.
I know for sure though BSII is the best untill jungle maps then I'm unsure, but on my DMM accoutn I use the 70 chrisma map for drops cause its 2 bronze soldiers,1 bronze archer, and then 3 other bronze archers with the vertern ability all lvl 33 and gives 1000+ rank exp per clear,so thats my opinion on the only map that will replace BSII.

Ok, thanks for the insight.
Guess I'll be farming the hell of last mission while it pays of.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

It's not 1HKO
From another forum , Tengu attack is 1500 Magic Damage
That mean 1500 HP in 1 hit for everyone without MR
Anything that have more than 1500 should survive
Or , using the withdraw tactics
And 1 Tengu can only attack that 1500 dmg once

The port is indeed harder
Tried that map again without Jerome
Still manageable tho , but need some unit -CR
While the 2'nd and 3'rd is def easier

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I'm just starting out and I've read that there're plenty of ways to screw oneself over in the beginning. So far, I haven't gotten rid of any silver+ units so it can't be too bad, but I'm not sure what the best method of gaining strength is.

I think my main issue is that I only have 1 silver mage and 1 bronze, so armor maps are very dicey. On top of that, I only have 1 silver tank and she has to have her +defense skill up and 2-3 healers on her to survive multiple armors. I have 2 gold mages and a silver, which is nice, but no map that I have access to drops them so I can't lvl them efficiently. Given how weak and poor I am, I'm not sure that I can afford to be inefficient. I'm in the same situation with being unable to lvl healers.

My current plan is to grind up my tank and soldier units since I can get copper (bronze?) drops pretty consistently. I was working on my archers before but decided to switch since they're so helpless versus armors/crowds which are my current issues. I farm easy/normal dailies when possible.

Witches, witches can help you pretty good on armor maps and hold them until you have the UP to set Mages onto the map. Mages is absurdly expensive.

For example, Phalanx 2, I had pretty hard time clearing it with lvl 80 prince and three lvl 30 witches. But it finally became doable on every attempt when my Prince became lvl 99 and one of my witches became CC'd lvl 30, a silver witch that is. That's the calliope, my second witch is lvl 34 Cloris, haven't evolved her yet.

You might want an heavy armor instead of soldier on the maps like those cuz they can pack a punch. Leveling those healers is also essential. Admittedly I use a Gellius cuz I had dumb luck on my side for that pull when I originally saw it as terrible luck. I have come around and appreciated him when I wanted tethis. Not sure how tough it'll be with Leanne. Cuz mine's still at level 30.

Oh yes, what's the absolute minimum to beat up the base scramble I cuz I wanna in the new storyline maps and I really hate the desert. (Nevermind the silly part of where I live in a desert on earth.)
Cuz I saw the ethelred's video and it uses alot of evolved units.

You are going to need a full core in order to do those later story missions. Even the higher old maps assumed you had a pretty decent core of CCed healers, tanks, soldiers, mages, witches, and archers. Some maps you can get away with only having a core of 7-10 units, but you will start needing a full 15 core to keep moving.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

When do the new missions appear? I just cleared Fiery Oasis and unlocked Buried Beasts.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

The new story maps are much harder than Base Scramble 1. You need a bunch of CCed ranged units to beat it and Base Scramble 2. I wouldn't try to go further than that without a full CCed team.

Or maybe Two Pyramids?

I see.... its definitely going to maybe take me another month. Maybe. Depends.

This is pretty much what I'm using and some units in there almost never see combat. And I almost always lead with Katie so it became no brainer to decide to level her next after Soma, She's been max level since long time ago. XD Maybe a month. Dunno why I maxed her out then never max out a second unit.

It was probably cuz her sprites is awesome.

Cost reduced' Calliope to minimum, cuz i had like five calliopes laying around looking pretty.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

how hard is sakura in the wind compared to eastern nation port town?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Story maps are segregated according to arcs and each map is unlocked by clearing the previous, more or less:

Kingdom arc (up till Immortal beast)
Desert arc (unlocked by clearing castle retake, up till two pyramids)
Eastern/Oriental arc (unlocked by clearing base scramble II, up till Raijin (comes) attack(ing))
Magic City arc (unlocked by clearing Fuujin Vanquish, up till 2 golems)
Jungle arc (unlocked by clearing Golem of the Research Tower)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Oh boy, I tried out the first new map.

The following is a re enactment description of the run.

Map starts and I see what looks to be goblin tier mobs.

Drop two soldiers to build points.

See the first soldier fight the enemy and it becomes oh shit those things are kinda strong.

Both soldiers die before their skill.

Alt+F4.

I'll pretend that didn't happen.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Hmm looks like Nutaku is closing two other games.

Doesn't look too well for Aigis now since we never really got an official response till today.

Seems to be a different reason than player activity for discontinuing them since less popular games are staying. Either that or the top rankings is a lie.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Is one of them Angelic Saga? I recall someone said DMM stopped supporting it awhile ago, which is one of the reasons why they've been churning out "Nutaku exclusive cards".

Dragon Tactics and Duel Squad.
