Mementos tokens seem better on paper than Mikotos at stalling but the only times I've ever really tried to stall Mikotos tokens have blown my expectations out of the water. I keep thinking of them as wet paper bags and then they go and cause some serious damage. Liches in particular are killed while I try to salvage some half dead healers with no or little support.
I really want to put Memento on my team somehow even if its not anywhere near optimal.

I've looked at both of them. I put my resources in Horace. If you like Charlotte more, she is usable. I don't think she's "better". I also don't think you need to max level both, unless that's just your thing.
That was kind of the point. There is a meaning to evaluating units in terms of usefulness as advice to other players. That said, there is no "one team" or "one solution" to any given map. If you like a unit, chances are you can find a way to make it work.
Edit: Yes, Charlotte attacks faster. No, attack speed is not everything because of a mechanic called "Armor". Horace's skill and skill AW are better in my opinion. This goes back to placing value on burst damage. Charlotte may do similar or possibly better damage than Horace over a long period of time, but that is such a rare occurrence for a magic fencer because of their range. More importantly, every situation I've encountered in the game is better dealt with more damage up front than more consistent damage in order to thin enemy attackers before they become a problem.

Assuming you have mincost Charlotte (which in itself was a feat given how oddly stubborn she was in her event) vs. Horace, you could make the argument that you could use one over the other without making a huge difference.
But Liana vs. other healers? A mincost AW Iris over Liana is a healbomb that's half the power but 8 seconds sooner. AW Camilla is 4 seconds sooner (5 seconds in my case since I have -1). And then saints halve paralysis duration.
In the future when we can actually mincost Liana and the paralysis actually gets to be a more recurring problem in later maps (AW Prince, bosses like lich dragon, etc.), then you could make the argument that Liana isn't hot garbage. But now? She's too much cost and effort for her worth.

I use Liana for literally everything so saying shes too much trouble is a bit of an overstatement, as I've had no difficulty to 3* every map we have available with her. She is actually the reason I could 3* Oasis since awakened Fedora doesn't have a heal boost on summon like she does and I needed a healer with +range as the skill as well the way I did it.
Although with all that said I agree it's stupid to try arguing that using a healer that costs more compared with a cheaper one who gets the job done isn't the best choice.

She isn't bad compared to other healers (aside from cost), she's bad compared to other premium black units, and that's entirely because she isn't supposed to be a premium black unit; she's supposed to be an event black unit. I'm sure someone said that before though~
I still use my maxcost event blacks on my DMM account, and they work just fine for me. This includes my maxcost Liana, though I do prefer using my other healers over her unless I really need the extra power.
Anyway, black Iris is so much more amazing by comparison, I really hope we get the Liana event and get black Iris in the game. It might happen after we get units removed from the PS, but who knows. In any case, think that there is no way we will be getting B. Iris as an event unit, she's just too OP~

If you have actually leveled her and used her, you will know firsthand that she is useful. Expensive but useful, like a mage.
If you already have 2 plat healers and 2 gold healers? Liana might not help you so much. If you're new to the game and just got her? She is good. She will offset some weaker tanks for a long time to come, and trivialize some things that might otherwise require 2 silver heals and/or skill timing; not to mention other edge case uses like her AW ability heal, paralysis removal or range boost.

Ah thanks, I missed their post then, I guess they posted right after the last time I checked NutakuDev's post history!
Memento is among my favorite characters art-wise, not sure why..
Super glad we're gettin' a necromancer though, even though I don't think I will need to rely on tokens ever seeing as I currently have every single heavy armor in the game, and Gellius can tank all sorts of things.
Now to check seesaawiki to see if Memento's event has either silver archers or silver soldiers available as drops...

It is all semantics guys. The argument over Liana devolved into an argument over the definition of the word garbage.

First of all, Charlotte is ever so slightly better. Over an equivalent period of time, Charlotte can deal 25788 damage while Horace can deal 25344. So the slower attack isn't as bad as it seems. Just as well, Charlotte isn't as weak as she is generally made out to be. If you're gonna use a Magic Fencer, either is fine for probably 90% of occasions. However, I maintain my stance that Horace's AW skill is just amazing,
