Liches were the only reason that made Memento harder.
And Liches are kinda been-there-done-that at this point.
I liked this event better b/c there are alot more varieties like
stationary enemies, debuffs, 5k atk fatty, etc.
Ofc this comes from someone who has super OP team that spends too much time on how to destroy things in more ridiculous way since getting 3 stars is never an issue.

ok I went in blind for each map and got stuck on final battle in the hell.. tried twice but messed up and decided to watch a vid....I don't have a cannon whore bitch leveled at all. (sorry I didn't mean to be that mean I am just frustrated plz forgive me Percis)
I digress though as the mage is what's stopping me from 3*'s and I did same thing in the vid I believe and it didn't work....someone got some advice for me?

You could level a cannon up. The silver one isn't difficult to level and will do the job it needs to.

Honestly, on some level, I've found this event a touch trickier from a purely tactical standpoint. As mentioned the previous was, perhaps, rawly more difficult in terms of THE NUMBERS, but most of the maps seemed very... Basic once you knew "Oh, okay, Liches show up X at Y" while this one had a bit more variety and flavor. Like, mnh, Dark Knight Commander's Resolve presented a more interesting puzzle, I think, even if it may have proven easier to clear for some-to-most people?

I agree, certain maps for this event have a completely different mindset than normal. My normal approach is to kill it and kill it fast. Or tank it and heal through the damage while killing it slow.
Well with that stupid dark aura up, I can't kill it fast, and I can't effectively go into a battle of attrition because my healers won't be able to keep up due to their drastically reduced healing.
I still have the final 2 maps to go, but the rest are 3 starred after getting a feel for the maps.

I'm mildly irritated because I'm pretty sure I was going to 3* The End of the Dark Knights on my 2nd try... Buuuut I forgot to put my prince out. Which was just BRILLIANT. So a few things didn't die as fast and I got a leak or two. Wheeee e_e

Put Bashira+other archer in place of Percis (if you saw vid where she is on that isle top left. Use Bashira skill whenever it is ready - pig should be low on hp pretty fast. Use Spica near Bashira (so she can kill demon mage later on, with dark knight skill on you can use both, Bashira and Spica to kill that demon mage, just put Anya or other tanky unit). Block pig using Karma in front of prince. Don't bother with those demons going through if any of them even survive. On that isle in the bottom use Despi+archer+healer. And you shouldn't have problems. For UP you can put Aria in front of prince in the beginning after Bashira.

. Replace Shuuka with another soldier or completely leave her out. Replace Rita with Bashira. Replace Thetis with Claudia. Replace Imelia with Kerry. Replace Healers with yuor own ones. Block the mage demon in the end with Karma instead of Anya (didn't know he was coming and missed the chance). Replace Claudia with Anya to block the oni chief if necessary. Ignore the Saki I placed in the end^^Cruel_Vamp

Oh FML I apologize everyone... I'm so dumb I figured out the reason why I couldn't beat it...I never paid enough attention that I realized we could activate that Dark Knight commanders guys skill TT.TT
on the plus side I had already beat it just couldn't do so without someone dying I'ma try again in an hour or two for my next attempt

You know honestly I only used Karma twice where I actually needed her, because ofc I throw her in a team whenever possible so she can just sit and look pretty and reminds me that I was totally kicked but on an event >.>

Me complaining about being dumb
What angers me is I wanted to use Emilila on all big bossy mages in the future cause I like her and min cost and max skilled her without trouble but I got feed up with valks part way through last event when I CC'd Emilia I began running out of storage. In my wisdom I had Elaine eat copies of herself till I min costed her so I could have Emilia, Kerry, Elaine all min cost at once on a map for giggles.
Ofc I accidentally ate all copy's and ended up getting lucky with free gacha Thetis so now my Valks section look like this

See, that's actually about what I was doing, I just forgot to place the prince (... Where you said to... Which is exactly where I was going to place him...) and so everything went... Not so great. I do find it pretty funny that your strategy suggestion was what I'd just screwed up though, good to know I found the common solution, at least =P
Status update: What a surprise, when I don't screw up my strategy it actually works. Darndest thing. Though, I do have to say, 2 tanky characters aren't entirely called for. Aria (awakened 40) did just fine with her whopping 265 defense guarding the bottom. I mean, I was ready to swap her if things looked bad, but she dealt with it just fine... Katie has spent a looot of time benched lately, with Aria kind of taking the stage as the one Soldier I use >_> Also 2% attack up for everyone! That... Er... Exists. I guess.

I'm having a small problem at the moment, i beat the event and all (Monica put a hole in the high demon head before he even got the chance to do a thing) but i feel the compulsion to try to draw Cornelia, the thing is i only have 40SC at the moment and due to reasons i can't put money on this game :/
So what i'm asking (to all of those who have spend SC in the shrine before) Should i go for it? Even after a year and a half i've only play the gacha 5 times at most and so far i've only gotten 3 plat total and 5 or 6 gold for almost 60-80 (maybe less).

As someone who rarely gachas and has somehow gotten a few Blacks under the belt I'd say...up to you really. Going from those pulls the universe should give you a Black, not necessarily Cornelia though since RNG is a cruel force, but at the same time it could just as well give you a few Plats or a bunch of Silvers in a row. I guess go in with the lowest expectations possible, which I always do whenever RNG is involved, if you do decide to yolo roll.

I feel you^^ Almost everything is the same for me. Three plats from gacha, haven't rolled for over a year. Had 41 SCs, not going to spend money. Really wanted Cornelia. Marnie, Mehlis and Lyla are great as well. Did two rolls, got Yuyu and Crave, learned my lesson.
