(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Thanks I guess I'll roll for Sybilla then. Any suggestion of what rituals made to the rngods or at any time?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I couldn't help but notice how you're running casually Base Scramble II instead of Return the Field.
Why? Return the Field gives more experience, gold, and unit experience per charisma, at least according to the wiki. As our currently available last and 'most difficult' story mission, it gives the most out of everything.

Base Scamble has higher unit exp/ charisma. Actually Fiery Oasis has even more, but the units are lower level. Therefore for most BS II is the sweet spot between high unit exp / charisma and level of the units (which leads to less gold needed). In fact most people still farm BS II on DMM (at least they used to when I last checked, which is about half a year ago), only exception is + story mission drops events. During those events Return the field is better I think, I'm not sure about this though.

Return the field actually has a relatively bad XP:Charisma return, I'm not sure about the exact drop rates since nobody on DMM runs/tracks it but if it's the semi-standard 70*2/70*2/55*2 then it's a mere 13.7 whereas BS II sits slightly over 15.8, Fiery Oasis is a bit over 15.2. BS II is the best map we have right now if you want unit XP, it's only a little bit behind RtF for Prince XP too so it's a great map all around, unless you're starving for gold.

I'm honestly not sure what the best map is right now on DMM though, Dark Elf Queen definitely seems interesting from Petite Soeur's recent data but I haven't been keeping up with the rates for other high-end maps, especially the Brave Orc Warrior one.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

At this point who really cares about exp? Just doing what burns the most charisma seems like the best option. We have a lot of time anyway.

Maybe if we are good and efficient, maybe one day MWA will gloriously revive with the sound of heavenly choir. Like waiting for the second coming of Christ in this dark and gloomy age.

Or, maybe we get horsemen and flaming hail and evaporating ocean instead.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Here's what we probably have coming for next week:

's already been mentioned multiple times as the next Event in line, if we get her, otherwise we're skipping ahead to .

's a Druid which are essentially, reverse Necromancers: They can summon that offer a little bit of healing power and do not count as defeated units if they get killed, they also heal for 300(500 after AW) HP upon deployment, making them useful as immediate healing, the class boasts a powerful single-target magical attacks with a range slightly higher than Archers(270 vs 260). Pupuru's skill is a single-hit attack with an Attack and Range boost, here's the exact Skill from Petite Soeur's list: Thunder Rain (サンダーレイン): (2s; attack 1.3x; range 1.6x [432]; attacks all enemies within range AS: 121; WT: 15; CT: 30)

is an Alchemist, which are units with a relatively short-ranged AoE attack that half the Defense of any enemies hit, making them excellent support for physical AoE attackers like Samurais or to just make it easier for your physical DPS units to deal with high-Def targets like bosses. Corrine has Splash Attack II, which is shared with the two beardmages and an un-CCed Garania.

Pupuru's a Star Trial so there's no reason not to max her out if you've been playing for a while but Corrine is a -5 cost and 5/5 Skill farm unit, so it might be a little annoying to get all the CRs.

On another note, as I was digging through Petite Soeur's posts for some Pupuru-related information, I ran accross this. I wonder what else is known about the Nutaku version on the Japanese side that we don't actually know...

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

That's actually hilarious that the Japanese illustrator's know more about what is going to be in the English game than Nutaku knows. Really pathetic actually.

And that post says Kagerou is gonna be removed from english version? Why? I don't even.... doesn't even make sense.

And that post says Kagerou is gonna be removed from english version? Why? I don't even.... doesn't even make sense.

It more than likely goes back to Nutaku being the reason. Kagerou's H scenes feature loli bondage. That's the most likely reason. They probably saw that unit and said "nope, we can't have that."

Its one of the reasons we went so long without a silver ninja to CC/awaken units and why rogues were/still are used. (at least I think rogues are still being used as replacements for some)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

wait, i thought nutaku settled the issue with removing loli's with dmm? they said something along the lines that dmm had taken them out at first because of the credit card processors, but with that issue being over. that story shouldn't hold up anymore and we should have our loli's galore.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

And that tweet is dated 22 feb 2015, while first event where she appears happened only year later.
So what units will be scrubbed from the game was decided long, long time ago when game was still in negotiations, and was decided by nutaku, and they knew damn well we aren't going to get even Kagerou when they were promising to get back Mischa few months after launch.

Must be nice when your partner is essentially mute and cannot defend himself from any accusation you throw at him, always having handy scapegoat for everything.

Nutaku claimed that but I wouldn't be surprised if the devs either never got that message that units were okay to put back in or they simply don't care to redo all the code. Its much easier to remove than add things from a coding perspective. They probably completely scrubbed all reference of these characters from gacha and events and won't reverse it.

We did skip Fran who does have a cross symbol on her head and is a loli ish character. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she was skipped was due to her being on the scrubbed list so long ago and it never got changed.

Reason we probably got Aisha at all? Probably because the devs demanded it having sales data when she was a spotlight unit to back it up.

That's only true if they have a horrible architecture, which would not surprise me. The hard part should be to implement new skills and abilities. Since they're already in DMM, the only job should be to translate related text.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

That seems really odd. Nutaku said that she was fine.

Actually the DMM version had the same overreliance on rogues for CC fodder until they changed the required units at some point, or so I hear. For some reason we haven't gotten that change yet, of course.

Now, the lack of silver monks hasn't stopped us from needing a monk to AW Rikka, of course. Needing to pull the one and only gold monk from premium summon in order to AW her isn't ridiculous at all, really!

Edit: Guys, teh post that was linked to is a year and a half old. It isn't any new information >.>

Man I had completely forgotten that conservation. The most likely scenario is probably that those units are long removed and the developers have no desire to put them back now that nutaku has cleared whatever hurdles they had to in order to allow said content.

True its not new but it is something to think about and its a detail that was very likely glossed over by most people.

Nuts are saying they did have a list of units their previous draconian agreements with billing services or something deeemed "unsafe", but since then they managed to greenlit pretty much everything on that list from their side. And that they did notify their JP overlo... I mean JP devs about that. And that they themelves are as baffled about the lack of that greenlit units as we are.

So yeah. :D

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I was checking the wiki earlier, and something caught my attention.
I'd originally thought that Lolonee getting a 50%(I think) attack bonus when fighting armoured enemies was unique to her, but looking at other bandits, it seem that it's just a trait of their class.
So, what unique strength/benefit does Lolonee actually have, given that she's an event unit?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Lolonee is pretty much a weaker version of Lyla. Upon AW she gets a 25% chance passive to avoid physical attacks, making her like a Bandit-Rogue hybrid increasing her survivability a little bit. Skill awakening increases her skill from 2.4 to 2.5 and in addition increases her dodge chance by 50% making it 75% chance to dodge.

55 sc 2 Gina, and last one Zenobia, no blacks. About what's expected ;_;
And one half-witch Yuyu, at least it's seasonal themed.
