In the one slot behind the tanks was the lightning rods, taking most of the damage.

The key for me was placement order, 2 soldiers, 2 ranged units, 2 healers, 2 ranged units, 2 tanks replacing soldiers, then lightning rods placed one after the other is withdrawn.

In terms of strength, my men are strong but in healing they are the weakest.

You can obviously beat IB in a hundred different ways, just like most maps. I don't think people looking to clear IB the first time are going to have a bunch of novelty units at max level like you. But nice brag! Good job! Lightning rod swapping is valid, but its messy and you have to have multiple good lightning rod units and really good damage to kill the liches before they chew through your tanks. Its possible, but not very likely that people will have that.

Just because I did it this time with decent units doesn't exclude the fact I did it the first time with units like 50CC30 Soma, 50CC50 Fedora and Alissa, lvl40 Iris, 50CC50/60Valerie and Cyrus, 50CC30 Garrett, a whopping lvl70 Sherry and several lighting rods such as 50CC30 Kerry and Elaine and Bernice, 50CC40 Leanne, lvl30 Themis and Dorania, this is bragging, I wasn't earlier. I mentioned I did it originally with different units.

Lightning rod is a valid tactic that doesn't require the greatest healers, just some skill and whatever spare units you have lying around. Decent units you might just have lying around are Lucille, Lolonee and Elva, all units that can do it just as well with any silver bandits or valkyries you have. Ericridge specifically mentions he has 4 units atleast in that post, I know he's been playing for a while so I can assume he has some of the latest event units.

All in all, you don't need 3-4 healers to do this if you follow a low level strategy, as you claimed originally. I could cut out all healers and beat it but he wouldn't be able to reproduce it while he could reproduce my current strategy.

You made it seem like more healers is the only way to do it, and also said it couldn't be done at all by high level units with only 2 healers, I simply proved both things wrong, then you called me out and claimed I was bragging which wasn't true.

Most of what you were saying was true, but as I said it wasn't the only way and Ericridge has other options.

I also recommend the lightning rod tactic backed by your best healers, lightning rods are a tactic that will be used in a bunch of maps going forward, so I recommend learning it. Alternatively you can just buy the damage reduction buff and make the map a complete joke.

Alright thanks guys.

I have decided..

Will bring Gellius up to CC70 first.

Finish up on bringing Vincent to CC60.

Then Themis to lvl 60.

Then Fedora to CC60.

Maybe this is when I will CC70 Spica next.

And yeah, I have Warmaiden Emilia at lvl 34, Memento at lvl 22, Lucille at CC44. I got lolonee and vice commander elva as well.

Anyways Gellius's at CC64 now cuz I used my tincans + Platinum fairies.

I went with 1 Tincan + 3 Platinum fairies cuz tincans is too rare for me while platinum fairies can be farmed to some degree through Phalanx 2. Its unreliable though, doesn't drop all the time. I could go for weeks without a single drop of platinum fairy from it.


I really don't see myself doing War of Magic any time soon because I don't really have battle ready witches.

Only one 9UP Calliope that refused to level up her skills despite few witches put into her. Lvl 30 Yuyu, Lvl 23 Calliope, and lvl 8 Belinda. Then there's Cloris at level 40. On other hand, my options of Mages is pretty excellent.

Three Iron Mages at lvl 30, One Valerie, Pallis at maxed affection and CC50, and Mehlis at level 31. Can Necromancers be deployed into war of magic? Necromancers is spellcasters right? Or Its not allowed just cuz necormancers can deploy melee tanks? :p

Uhhh I never said you couldn't do the map with just two healers. I also didn't said it was the only way to do it. You're trying to "call me out" for things I didn't say. If thats what you think you got from my post, you straight up took it out of context or read it wrong. And you did it in a pretty confrontational ("not really") and braggadocio ("I did it just for fun") way to someone just trying to explain an enemy's mechanics. People generally don't appreciate that for future reference.

Back on topic, War of Magic is only for mages and witches. No other classes, unfortunately.

On topic, the druid is cute but I very much doubt there be the silver monk added, there'll be some silly reason why its too much trouble to add him I bet that's never revealed. Once a silver unit is skipped it seems they disappear never to return.

Does anyone else beside me has recently problems with Aigis? Like for 2-3 weeks I quite often got some error and can't enter the game (error pops up when loading is halfway done).

What browser are you using? That error usually happens after you clear the cache, but it shouldn't keep you from playing. Firefox stop working for me recently and switcht to Opera.

My, oh my, this is quite the unexpected development, this could mean some units were indeed greenlighted (of course Noel who is friggin old didn't made the cut in the pass). Well i hope we get monks since my Rikka is diying to be AW.

I didn't cleared cache when that happened first time ;/ Unfortunately Aigis doesn't work for me on firefox (ok, it works but not good ;/) so i have to use chrome. It works for you on opera? Okay gonna switch anyway. Dont want to use that browsers like ie or chrome.

Pretty fine actually, i don't use chrome for it since it eats ram like there is no tomorrow remember to deactived the special keys and the aceleration by hardware

I did actually have that problem about 2 weeks ago, took it about 3 tries before it solved itself, even though the error came up halfway the game kept loading very slowly and I left it the last time so it could load fully before refreshing.

She's not anything too special and her reduced attack speed makes her a bit of an inefficient UP generator, but she can get things done. That and she was the first summon unit (before Bashira change), so I sort of ish felt obligated. :V

oh boy this event has all the things i need for witch aw and its a star trial thank god they didnt skip her shes a great unit and there are so many silvers in the event itself its great

Hrm, looking at druid girl's AWA I guess I'll be AWing her, when I can, on the Main for Olivie synergy. Maybe AWing Rowanna one of these days too.
