I will be getting bonded spirits from the stamp card soon. Which unit from each rarity should I use them on first? I was thinking either for black either Olivie or Liana, basically princess or healer. For Platinum Bashira, Adele, Shizuka, or Uzume, so archer, witch, advance guard, or samurai. Finally for gold either Katie or Cloris, basically soldier or witch.

2 Archers, usually Bashira + Spica.
1-2 Soldiers
2-3 healers
1-2 witches
1 wizard
2 heavy armor

That's the very basic units you should have leveled/cced first. After that it's really up to you. Just not Samurai since they're almost never used.

I really wish I could use samurai, the ones I have seem to be very strong for their level, having very high attack and being able to hit everything they are blocking. The main downside to them seems to be their cost, if they were lower, I would think they would see more use. Same with Pirates. Would love to have like 1 of them and an archer.


Also another question. Would it be worthwhile to use a team of only black/platinum if you had the units, or would throwing in some gold/silver in their for early turns more important?

Depends. Blacks and Plats obviously are powerful, but they have higher deployment cost.

So if you have units that can take care of the cost problem, go ahead and make all Black/Plat team. My sig team is a good example since Jerome, Uzume, Aisha combination basically nullifies any concern for cost.

If not, you can balance it out with Silver/Gold units who will hold the line until you have enough cost to whip out the Black/Plat pwnage.

Not anymore.
They used to not be powerful enough for their cost, but now, as we are rocking nearly lastest DMM balance patch, they fully pull their own weight.
You can use samurai instead of heavy infantry with great success, at any maps where you don't explicitly need defensive skill to not be oneshot / burned down due to lack of healing. And as samurai clear their opposition (more than trice) faster than heavies, last reason should not occur all that often.

And DMM goers say pirate are actually used more than archers there, with multiple units that increase their potential and all stuff. So yeah :D

Would Shizuka be a decent samurai to use since her skill allows her to regenerate her health with each attack.

Black Samurai is good , but that have to wait God knows when~

Personally IMO Jerome is the best Soldier in the game , even better than Altair. But I might be biased~

Normaly You need 2 Soldier , but Helena can make up for 2'nd Soldier
She's 14 cost (Limit Value) and reduce other cost by -3
Making some unit cost 0 (Rogue , Token)
Gone to 11 UP (Limit Value) at 2'nd AW
If You ever saw her on Nutaku , broke Your SC. Nuff said~

Not a single time I find UP is a problem , despite Nadia expensive cost~

I has another question. If I have the money to spare, is it worthwhile to buy those 100k units in the trading post? Which units are worth it? From reading online it seams that angels have higher stats than normal so would they be worth it? If I don't have any artillery, word it be worthwhile to pick that one up?

You need 100k AND silver unit specified.
So if you have abundance of that silver and still don't have silver you can get, it makes sense to get Ertel, Khuri and Percis. If you missed both fencer events, you can also get Ricardo.
Silver angel is kinda bad, but if you have no other MR tank, may invest into xer as well.

I already have a Khuri. I also have a fencer, Anemone, although they seem really bad with dealing 50% damage to things they aren't blocking. What is so special about Ertel? Also I already have a MR tank in Olivie.

Melee healer. Very useful. Almost required on some maps, although not until much later on.

Angels have higher stats because they stand there and do nothing unless their skill is active.

As for the 100k units, I wouldn't bother with them. You can pick up copies of them every once in a while during some events for free.

Example being the current event maps

Khuri drops on The Silent Village
Percis drops on The Beseiged Princess
Ricardo and Niel drop on Assault in the Deep Woods
And Ertel drops on Crimson Fiends

You'll also get a copy of them eventually from story map completions when you get to the desert maps.

Is a non evolve character going over the 50% percent affection a glitch because one of my characters currently has 52%.

Some classes (princesses, summoners, avengers, druids, necromancers...) have no class evolution. You can level them directly to the max level of their rarity. Those units can get up to 100 % affection instantly, because there is obviously no class evolution^^

Magic Fencers go up to 60% then 70% of damage on range with further evolutions. But their main draw is ability to deal ranged magic damage from melee slot (on skill), thus supporting your main tank from behind, or covering multiple lanes.

Also, Olivie is not exactly the best magic tank. I mean, 25% MR is nice and all, but barely 1k HP at level 80 might make things go ugly in a lot of situations... At least her Awakening helps her HP a bit)

Yeah you typically need a decent health pool to go with MR. The ideal situation is that your lightning rod can take at least 2 shots in between heals from the magic damaging targets.

man chloe makes an excellent mr tank to bad shes been chained and lost in cut content
