(Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

I was starting to think it was impossible...

But I finally got my first Gadoras. <.<

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Gold rush was nice and expected, Subjagation is also great and we coulda predicted it if we weren't so jaded.

I know I predicted that if we go back to break weeks it'd happen straight after new years but seeing as how they've ramped up the schedule more I don't expect it anymore.

8 Gadoras from this event wasn't bad pickings, also 181 MC left over for nothing.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Likely wrong, but I'm gonna guess on the Subjugation being

That's the one, is pretty easy thing 3 blockers + 3 aoe = done.

Last month was revived has part of the anniversary campaing with change rewards, is really a no brainer. Th big question are the GR, if the keep opening them only in new year well never gonna get the ones that go deeper into the game story... Then there is also the wild card of the TP why hasn't been rotate in almost two years remain a mistery.

And the Gold Rush returns!
Are they actually trying to catch up with their schedule?
That's it, I have to splurge a bit. I think I'm gonna spend 100 bucks on Aigis and graduate to a dolphin. For once, it starts feeling like they give a fuck.

this happened with the last subjugation i believe and after the real event ended they played the subjigation off as a actual event and ran it out
also do what you will but id wait until the holidays are over and see if they still give a fuck
dont get me wrong i hope it stays like this we are actually moving slightly faster then before but it makes sense to do good things during holidays and get some sales we dont know if this is there motive right now and thiss could all be another trap intentional or not

Still waiting for that updated trading post and black Iris solution.

The gold rush could be nice though.

Hey, I've waited a long time to see if this schedule is going to keep up. It's been going on since Pupuru's event, so three months by now. I was adamantly against giving them a cent until October, since then I've been skeptical.
Now though... I was betting some of my Christmas bonus with myself on whether they do a gold rush or not. They did, so I gotta dish out some dosh now, fair's fair.
That + I'm like 15 SC away from Deluxe stamp card... which means something like 65 SC from that Legend stamp card, which I finally want a taste of.

I may finally spend them on getting those second barracks. It all depends on the premium summon units.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Do anyone know what kind of girl is showing up from the subjugation event? Cuz I remember I was a newbie when Waltz dancer showed up.

None, subjugations don't bring any new unit. The only thing you do is to kill a set amount of enemies to get rewards.
"Dance of Shadows" Waltz event ran a week after the "Spectral march" ended.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

This subjugation was just recently revived on DMM Aigis, based on that experience it seems a team of full CC and 100% affectioned units should be able to 500 it.

There was no units given out during the DMM revival, but according to the wiki the original release gave out Desert warrior Assal (typically at lvl 1).

I just want to remind everyone that this is exactly what happened last year and at approximately the same pace and release schedule as last year. We went from the middle/end of October to the end of the year with constant events and then went back to our skip schedule and eventually things fell to complete and utter shit near the summer.

Last year we had 7 events in a row, a 1 week skip and the end of the year gold rush. The gold rush was the beginning of moving back to the event // skip // event schedule.

This year we are at 7 events in a row counting the gold rush.

If Aigis makes it into 2017 maintaining constant events, then I might consider throwing some money at the game, but the developers have a long history of abuse to fix before I truly consider them worth giving money to.

And in other news, this revival set is complete for me. Got Anya, got a min cost Aria, and got my Echidna to the guaranteed -2CR and 3/5 skill point.

Difference is last year we had a large gap in events, that that spree was meant to correct. At least, this is what Nutaku told us. Meaning that consecutive event spree, then following 1 on 1 off schedule was deliberate, not random.

By "complete and utter shit" I assume you are talking about when we were informed that events were slowing down in preparation for a change that never came. From an objective standpoint that sucked, sure, but they did inform us. I still don't understand why some people got so upset over that when we got proper communication for the first time since Aigis has been released. Maybe I'm underestimating how many masochists out there have been enjoying the Japanese Dev Abandonment Play style of game development.

If Aigis makes it into 2017 maintaining constant events, then I might consider throwing some money at the game, but the developers have a long history of neglect to fix before I truly consider them worth giving money to.

Fixed that for you. Japanese Devs haven't broken our trust, or abused us in any way, while delivering this free game. Nutaku has, but not in a way that I especially care. Though it can be said that Japanese Devs say little and promise next to nothing, so they are far less liable to "break our trust" than Nutaku who tries to be far more proactive in their communication and promotion.

All things considered, our Aigis is in an upswing, but you are correct to be wary of it. I'm happy so long as events are constant, but I'd be far happier with a rotating Trading Post at the very least. Right now my hope for Aigis is a pretty mixed bag given the people that would have cared the most about it are not in charge of it. But hey, events, right?

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Why am I not surprised to see a Blacksheep post take a negative post and try to clean it up to make it seem like it should be positive. :/

Actually Nutaku never told us anything as far as I am aware. That was our own assumption. One that if memory serves, Orion actually posted and pointed out.

Being informed doesn't mean its not complete and utter shit. When events stop for weeks at a time, it's total trash. Why wouldn't people be upset when progress on the game comes to a grinding halt? Why do you think people get upset and leave when Blizzard lets WoW run on the same patch for a year? Games that are meant to have constant content updates seeing no updates makes for unhappy people, that should be obvious.

Neglect, abuse, same crap, using a politically correct word doesn't change the base message. You get my point. This has happened before. We thought things were looking up, then it went full swing and got worse than we ever imagined.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I had thought the reasonable consumers' choice would be spending money now during events. So they see the cash flowing in now, when they at least pretend to give a fuck or two.
Maybe the DevTea mentality is different? Maybe they try harder when they DON'T see money flowing in. Nutaku Aigis is their option B, after all, so maybe they inject it only with content when they feel they need a little extra cash injection themselves... WHO THE FUCK KNOWS?
And who the fuck cares in the end. I just want my anime tiddies. And, uh, some riveting and mentally stimulating tower defense gameplay, of course.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

Echoing what raz said. Sheep is to be ignored, as always.

It's too early to tell that things will improve again. We had even longer breaks this time around, with only nonstop events in these last two months to show for it. Not to mention the obvious padding the revivals caused.

The only things looking up for us this year are the various content patches (RCs, 4*, probably some other things I'm forgetting), the updated balance patches that somehow put us on par with the DMM version (at the time), and the fact that we're finally getting the missing lolis.

But again, until I see that trading post update and a solution to black Iris, I'm not optimistic.

Oh I see thanks.

And yeah, repeating the echo chamber here but yeah I'm nervous to see if it will be finally constant updates or the return to break events next week.

I agreed with many of your major points.

I don't even suggest supporting Aigis really until we have more concrete evidence that Japanese Dev Team will do better, or a longer track record. Still, it's a free game. I don't have to support it to enjoy it.

Actually Nutaku never told us anything as far as I am aware. That was our own assumption. One that if memory serves, Orion actually posted and pointed out.

You mean this post? That was not Orion.

Their followup to that was (Scroll down to the very bottom, it's the last 2 sentences). Nutaku has told us plenty. Japanese Dev Team communicates only through the news updates.

This sounds like the kind of person who hits something to fix it, and then stands in awe that it doesn't become fixed. Surely if I bash at a problem hard enough it will resolve, and if it doesn't, then it is the fault of something else. I mean, engineers, mechanics and software engineers must all be con men who get paid to solve simple problems that require no skill, expertise or time at all. Why don't you start running Aigis for us Razis? That'll show them Nutakus and Japaenses Devs what's what.

Worse than you ever imagined maybe. You don't seem like a terribly imaginative person. We've been neglected since day one. We are not Dev Teams #1 priority. Their established product is. We are side mistress #6.

Calm down, cope, have some patience, or go to the main thing (in japanese). Or you know, flail pointlessly on the forums while citing feelings instead of facts. It is the internet, after all.

Re: (Nutaku) Milenium War Aigis (English Version)

This cave have some really tall walls!!(hence the echo)

The real prove comes next year if we keep getting back to back events in January then we can start talking about the devs changing their aproach to the game. Leaving the gold rush aside the other big question would be the subjugation, the previous one was launch has a regular event and ran for a month meaning that they didn't add new content until it was over (If memory serves me rigth it also ran simultaniously with another event for its first week) So a repeat could be incoming by next week.

Althought i hope the best outcome i can help but feel that this next year is gonna be full of breaks that bottom line don't benefit anyone...

No, I'm talking about the original 6 week break in 2015. When the devs started providing back to back content. We made the assumption it was the devs catching up after it was realized they had a 6 week break and a 6 week straight content period. I'm not talking about Nutaku announcing a break in 2016.

I would gladly run Aigis. Give me developers who can do the code and I would gladly follow the Japanese schedule. I'm not even sure what your point was with the hitting analogy. The point is, games that demand constant updates, in this case, weekly events, and don't get it, cause people to get upset, lose trust in the ones running it, and stop playing and stop spending. If you want to keep whales interested you need updates.

Yes worse than you can imagine, for all you know they're updating the game to get that last bit of money out of people only to shut it down a few months later. That would be much worse than going back to event, break, event.

I already play DMM Aigis. Ironically my team over there is significantly stronger than over here despite only playing half as long. I am also almost maxed out on platinum armors and have a limitless supply of silvers for awakening. Its pretty nice over there. I haven't been flailing citing feelings, these are facts. You refuse to acknowledge them because for some reason you have a hard on to defend the English game. Why, I'll never know.
