This mission was the best. Tanking all my princesses with my men was great, Kojuro, Prince, Gellius, Conrad and Garratt while Robert and Christopher struggled greatly to heal them.

I failed my plat ticket and got a Liddy, oh well into the collection she goes.

The princess map is fun. Drop soldier, drop prince, drop Aisha, skill go. Princesses die.

Took a few tries, but I figured out a winning tactic by using Farne+Mikoto. The princesses die before they can even exit the courtyard after assembling.

I now got a taste of the droprate. Only thing I've gotten is flowers for the completion, but already I've gotten three Shihos. None of them gave the last cost reduce though. :(

I wish they changed it so Samurais and Pirates use themselves as CC material already....it kinda-sorta made sense to use Rogues as a replacement when they first arrived since we couldn't farm them at the time, but now that we've been getting frequent events that feature them for farming that isn't too much of a problem anymore.

Fuck this. First platinum ticket ever. Holding onto the vain hope I'd get my first premium black at last after half a year. No such thing. In fact, the worst case scenario.
Marius. A male plat. A fucking blondie knife-eared twink, that I have zero fucking need or desire for.
Happy fucking new year. Mine begun with despair in the morning and RNG will most likely continue to fuck me all year round.

Maybe it's time to just quit this game.

I would happily trade my Farne for him if I could, he's the last guy I want from the gacha for quite a while.

Marius is in fact one of the best "mages". Typically bishops are preferred over mages themselves and he is the strongest of them. He's one of the few very strong male units. Sooo... I wouldn't call this the worst luck.
I mean, I wasn't exactly happy back in time when I got Gellius, because male units... meh. But he's strong, so I can't really complain. Same goes for Marius, especially because I lack a good mage. I don't know about your setup, though.

It's at least a new unit too. I've gotten a Plat Ticket twice and both times were dupe Plats.

Yeah, I'm not using my plat ticket for another year or so. I know well enough how garbage my plat luck is already.

Did a 5SC roll for the new year and got Bernard, so yeah, not the best start already. I'm about fed up with this spotlight anyway, so w/e.

Today's map, strangely enough, it looks like Lilia and Sherry have the right stats after all. Sherry definitely goes down quicker than Lilia, anyway.

I did find the princesses bullying Kojuro to be amusing though.

Mine gave me Uru lol. Well at least she is new. Looks loli as fuck too, did we have her before?

Nice. Is she worth investing in? I've never actually used fighter... or w/e her class is. I don't really know what they specialize in.

Lilia is far tougher to kill than Sherry so they must have fixed them for us. None of them can stand up to the might of Conrad though, he must have been made for beating princesses.

Something I'm curious about - have bandits always had the "attack up against armour types" bonus, or was it only implemented later?
I didn't notice it until Lolonee's event(I thought it was a unique trait of hers, at first). I'm pretty sure I would have checked the bandits' descriptions before that.

almost certain it was added later like archers and there air bonus or vampire hunters and there undead bonus

We got that in the beginning of August of last year (so a month before Lolonee's event) when they dropped that huge patch of balance changes for units and classes, which yes, included the Archer's vs flying units bonus...or rather it increased the AW one and gave a pre-AW bonus, as the vs flying was exclusive to AW'd Archers before, and the vs up against undead for Vampire Hunters which too was exclusive to AW VHs.

OMG, there's indeed a black spirit in the first map of this gold rush! I was trying to get she since tuesday using all my charisma. At least now I have 5 extra Belindas and a lot of Calliopes.
Now moving to the second map. 2017 looks promising so far :)

Kojuro's face on his art has the perfect matching 'tired of all these goddamn bitches around' expression too.

So you people are actually saying I should bother leveling my Marius, straight after I got Noel to CC50? My go-to top mage was Mehlis so far, with 4/5 skill.
