cost doesnt make a huge difference most of the time and the times that it does a silver can usually take a units place especially with cc55 for silvers coming at some point not to mention most of if not all the plats are farm events and are easy to cr later getting a few plats even at max cost is great

if you can clear the maps do so even if you cant clear them there cheap maps so not much waste but if you can clear them you have a chance at units like themis belinda and claire who are fantastic to pick up this early

Christ, I can't believe how many attempts it took me to 3-star Flying Pegasus Knights, I've only just done it now. One of the last 3 always got through, or one of them'd drop one of my ranged units in a shot.
I hope I can get some Lolonee's, she's been my main bandit ever since her event, but I didn't manage to mini-cost her back then so I hope I can knock a point or two off now.
Also, did this mission just show off the Pegasus knights but not give you any of them as drops?

as far as i know we only get Isabelle and stella from a gr way down the road so were kinda far off from getting our hands on a Pegasus knight free atleast

Stella seems like a (relatively) niche unit compared to Claire, so I'm not complaining.

Also, is anyone else tempted to duel Esther vs. Esther? Mine will need some more leveling first though...

3-star Flying Pegasus Knights are not trivial if you don't retreat your units on time or you don't position your units carefully, since the knights do fly and hit fast.

Will get my first Lolonee, probably not going to CR her since she's only going to be my lightning rod/hp tank for the harder maps.

Sanosuke just won't drop. 28-29 runs now so here I submit my complaint. I don't need him at all, I rather need a thief to aw Monica. 1 Demon crystal drop and then 8 runs of no DC.

Damn, that's really brutal, I'm sorry to hear about that.
I was actually just thinking that this Gold Rush had a much better drop-rate than the previous one, as I've gotten all the drops pretty quickly so far.

i find rouge thief and even bandit share alot of similarities commonly and i use the words interchangeable it just so happens there all different classes in aegis but even then im sure we all know what we mean when we choose the wrong word from time to time no need to point it out

also i think the game know i only want barb to feed to another unit and thats why i cant get this stupid silver as im on atleast run 20 of the map aswell

This's been the easiest gold rush mission so far. All the others I at least needed to do once or twice before I could 3-star them.
I didn't expect to see Rita here, but I don't mind, as hers was another event I where I was disappointed how things went down, and she's another slightly quirky character that I have a soft spot for.

Not used stamina on anything else but the Gold Rush and the first map is still the only 1 that I have the completion drop from. For drops this has been by far the worst Gold Rush for me. If by some miracle I'm able to get the characters I don't already have I'm just going to give up. The dupes just aren't worth it.

EDIT: Finally completed a second map.

This is getting me mad. Only the Golem map is finished with Barbastroff. While I've 3 starred the other maps I've been consistently farming the first map for the black fairy. After nearly 50 runs, I've had around 10 Dorca and 8 Waltz. Withe exception of 1 skill up my Waltz is still 5/10 and 5 cost, while other than the 2 I saved for CC and Awakening, Dorca won't mincost or max skill herself.

got a nice burst of luck today got abel in like 6 runs and got the samurai with those 2 cleaned up that leaves bernice who i dont really need so i had leftover chr to aw a good dragon rider and never look at abel again

oh look the diamond cool just themis nd zola remain

Well, that's my most recent mission's drop completed, I seem to usually get it at the end of the day, and this dragon knight's probably the Gold I've been most interested in so far, even though I doubt I'll use him much.
Kinda disappointed though, that the 2 Ritas I got had no effect on my base one's Skill Level or cost, but things could be much worse, I remember how badly the last Gold Rush went for me.

You know, I think if I'd gonna have a bad run of luck in one of these, I'd prefer it come later, rather than sooner as it kills the mood of the event early on.
Nothing puts you off a Gold Rush more than terrible drops early on.

Guess Aigis decided to give me a break. Got all the remaining gold drops aside Abel now. I've decided to farm Emilia if I manage to get all the gold units early enough, Now that I finally have her several months after missing her event.

Today.. at long last.. I now have Zola!!!

But strangely enough, her event was the only one that didn't have any story in it.

And gold rush is done! I'll be farming for Plats! Fran, Rita, Emilia, Waltz, Momiji, Belinda, Lolonee in that order.

Fran's map is easy since my Vampire Karma can solo the entire map, so she'll be first so I can mincost and skill up her and Ada. Next is Rita, who just got 9/10 skill from the last run of the map I did. Then Emilia's up for what I expect to be the majority of my remaining time during the event.

If I get finished early, Waltz, whose map has healers and demon crystals will be next. While Momiji then Belinda are after because I have enough silver fairies for a lifetime. My Loonee is mincost and it's too much effort to cc her for skill up, so most likely I won't even farm her map should I have time.

Haha, good luck. How many copies do you plan on getting? Don't hope on more than two. Of a single platinum unit, not each, that is.

my roundup thus far:

map 1: complete + 2 waltz copies, 3 dorca--- 28 attempts
map 2: complete + 2 emilia--- 27 attempts
map 3: incomplete: missing sannosuke, got 1 plat armor-- 12 attempts
map 4: complete +1 lolonee ----14 attempts
map 5: incomplete: missing wine. + 1 lauren, +1 rita ------13 attempts
map 6: incomplete: missing plat armor. + 2 belindas, +5 naynia(lol) -----19 attempts
map 7: incomplete:missing leeanne. +1 blackspirit -------5 attempts

shit i still need in order:
map 7: leeanne for zola.
map 6: plat armor and another belinda copy to try for -2. if i get it im done. if not i try for another copy.

after that it's entirely map 1 farming for more waltz and dc until GR ends.
