the PPSxDP crosover was done well, as both sides, even if brand new, could get the top rewards if they put in the effort
For this crossover, it's the same problem they had in the PPSxOI one.. 600k in OI is a ridiculous goal. This is also an odd event in DP to make a crossover out of. I suppose it's -easy- in the sense that you don't need to do anything particularly special to participate (as can be the case in other DP events), but yeah, the top prize is kinda out there.
..alright, I figured out how the books work and it's a total pain in the ass..
Stage 1 randomly only drops A pieces, but the bosses drop 1x I pieces
Stage 2 randomly drops A or B, bosses drop 2x H
..
Stage 8 randomly drops A-H, bosses drop 8x B
Stage 9 randomly drops any piece, bosses drop 9x A
This makes A super common and I super rare
edit: it seems a guildmate got an I from Stage 6, so it could be just that higher stages have a higher chance of dropping rarer pieces
..also, are there slayers in this OI event? I don't see any listed in any of the information tabs, but the EP counter has a spot for it, so...
For example, previous crossover event we only got around 6-7 days of having the 2nd area open, and a free player with perfect stamina consumption would end up around the 500kish range depending on their level.
which stage is the most EP efficient?
I think your memory is fuzzy.
Free players, those that were going gung-ho with great stamina consumption, were in the 100k-150k range when the second set opened. No free player got anywhere near 600k unless they got super lucky with boosters. During the PPS crossover, I think I finished somewhere around 370k, and that was WITH a 50% booster for all of the second phase (and I was trying my damnedest for 600k).
Crossover players are not going to be able to farm the specials.
In the PPS crossover, I -barely- beat the 1st special once.. on the third try.. using a ton of gummies, and I couldn't beat the second special at all.
Now, I had an easier time with these two specials, but certainly not in a comfortable enough fashion to farm them.
I might not get all 6 books done. Just now finished the first book, and now the 2nd book wants 40 of each page.
Most regular DP players won't, either (I'm about halfway through 3rd).
This crossover sucks on both ends, which is too bad because the PPSxDP one was done well.
It's also very odd that OI demands 6 books, when the top prize in DP only requires 5.
This crossover was basically a big Fuck You to people trying out other games.![]()
