I'm 65k SED, been more or less helping all the friends i have with bosses, doing my own, pretty consistently active (every day, several hours), and I simply can't fathom how these people have 10+ million EP.

I have 70k. And i've been diligently grinding away. Granted i'm a free player... but I Can't help but feel there's some kind of gimmick or 'strategy' i'm not seeing.

I have only one of the +% event cards (The common one), although I've done 150 normal gachas and haven't even seen any of the others.

Appreciate any input.
Sorry if it was dozens of pages back, i tried a few pages and didn't see much anything.

The only other one you -would- see from normal gacha is Akie. The other 3 are event gacha only (a Nutaku rep on twitter said that the other cards would be available on the event spinner.. and that event gacha tickets would be EP rewards, but thusfar, neither of this is true).

As for your own EP, don't worry about the people with millions.. they're freaks.. things YOU can do to boost your EP.. well, it HAS been covered in the thread already, but I'll give you a refresher on how it works:

When a boss is defeated, you get EP equal to 1% of the damage you dealt. If you dealt the most damage (MVP) or got the last hit (seduction artist), it's doubled. If you did both, its tripled.

You said you have the N slayer.. did you level her to 100? You only get a slayer's max multiplier if she's max level.

Thanks for the information, and I've been dumping the N Cards I'm gaining currently into her for just that reason. She's at 70 i think.

So i'm better off just sticking to 'dealing as much % damage as i can' to my own bosses, it sounds like... as long as I can actually 'beat' them. Which sometimes yes, sometimes no... as i'm sure as is intended.

You'd be better off hitting bosses you think will die, assuming your friends aren't all spawning 8.7m+ bosses. Only need to use 1 focus on each boss and as long as it dies by anyone you get a prize. If you farm enough prizes off of other people's stuff you can easily raise your Sed and work toward a support prize at the same time.

Support prizes include SR Wild Card (5,3,1), R Wild, N Wild, N Gacha ticket, R Gacha ticket, Gold(1,3,5k), Peronamin Full/Half, Pero Pudding Full/Half

Unless you're close to getting in the top 1k there's not a huge need to farm EP.

But the support prizes are even harder to get aren't they? Top 100 vs top 1000?

I've been doing more or less just that; using a couple weak attacks on everyone's bosses to help out and get credit. I'm currently at rank 2000 EP-wise.

The majority of my friends list are spawning 8.7 million health bosses... which I can't even dent. Don't even think they can.

We're talking about different support prizes. You get a prize for every boss that dies, even ones your friends spawn. All you have to do is use 1 force to hit them.

I saw a person with Nami Wakabayashi, where is this card from? I can see it in cards list with many others that are not listed on gacha card list.

Event Gacha only, you have to check the Event Gacha list.

Well I meant more its a holiday weekend (in the US) and those that have played the DMM version said there's a second phase that would start Monday anyway, which would be a good time to roll out any potential fixes.

Looking at the date of the original announcement though, I wonder if the "compensation" is referring to the lost EP that was restored from when assists weren't giving EP.

We already got the EP for that on the second day of the event.

That's what I mean. The compensation announcement was made on the second day, so I'm wondering if that's what they meant and no further compensation is coming.

Yeah, the second half should start monday with an update. I do hope they do something about the state of the event but they have been pretty quiet on their side so who knows.

Would be nice if they fixed current bugs before introducing new ones:p

A couple questions ...
Do the 2nd half thunder bosses give double EP from normal damage?
And do we have only roughly 5 days to kill 300 OP bosses? o_O!!

I kinda found this info somewhere from JP wiki (google translate) and need confirmation.

Really only 5 days? Bleh wow I wonder what the card is that they have as that prize... I mean I saw the thread on other forums and they say these bosses start at 1 million and just go on up from there. How do they count the kills anyway? Killing blow or participation?

Now I'm wondering if I should put some money in to get the cards from the event gacha. Anyone know if the non-Elite cards will be in the normal gacha later on? I see some cards that I want, but dunno if its a limited time thing.

Confirming.

Counting goes up with participation, not final blow. So yes, 300 1-stam tags works, too, allowing those who don't care about EP rank to just spawn bosses for those who do, tag them and watch the fireworks.

Limited card awards for 300 lightning boss kills are traditionally the best along with SS ranking award ones, their stats go above anything you can get in gatcha. And yes, they are hard to get and require massive time investment even with lots of fat friends. I was deadly serious when I said that it's almost impossible to go full Sparta in second part for us.
