To be honest i doubt they will. IMO they are in lazy mode and translating events is faster. Remember 1st part of Area 4 was clearly googletranslated :/
Used SR Gacha and 1 last reveal i had and got one of santas, so that's something.

It's a combination of two things: the pace of events is burning me out (and I know I defended the constant events before, but that was on the supposition that we'd get actual content more frequently than this) and the "gotta catch 'em all" drive is completely gone; mainly because of gSR and those medals.

Not sustainable.
Each event is a money pit, and that goes back to the pace burning me out. For the same money, I get more enjoyment out of an MMO (which I have been... got a black friday deal on heavensward and have been playing that.. which has also led to my growing disinterest in PPS)

Yeah pretty much, the event pace is not viable for long term playerbase sustainability. You will keep the whales who buy into the sunk cost fallacy and lose people like say me for example who never spent a dime on the game and have no real attachment to lose.
I give honestly give Pero a few more months before the playerbase starts to dwindle, last event and this one (however we have to take the holiday into account) have been SUPER easy to top 300~, I got top 300 last event without even trying. Like actually not even trying I just used my stamina when I remembered, some days I didn't use it at all.
Pero is fun, the way they are running it will be the downfall of it, constant events generates MASSIVE burnout and new players will feel helpless as no one wants a sub 100k sed player and the high sed player pool is ever shrinking. I'm kicking out 5-7 500k+ SED people weekly and have found myself having to replace them with people who have lower SED simply due to weeks passing and just getting bombarded with new players (who don't play longer then a week tops).

Yeah, I had previously quit before 2.3 due to boredom and guild drama (boredom from being a level 50 -everything- [yes, even all the crafting classes] and having nothing to do but dailies and raids.. the latter of which I wasn't enjoying due to guild drama) so coming back -now- I had a lot to catch up on. Didn't really intend to, but the deal ($14) was too good to pass up.

You'll be happy to know that the 3.0 raid is so much worse than coil. I pretty much ragequit because of it.

Its pretty much the same, it just need alot of training with your raid party. As soon you got comfortable with the boss move set. Game pretty boring when already beat all the end game content

Nordlands last activity was a week ago, so I dunno. Could be out for the holidays too.
That aside I desperately want some non event content for a bit, even the rest of the new area would be fine. Just skip an event and give us the rest of the area.

Oh man, you guys would be so mad at the JP version in that case.
Remember a while back when I said JP got a new Runa card in the single-player campaign? We've pretty much been on nonstop event mode since then. We haven't even been getting the usual 3-4 day breaks between events.
