Hello, I'm really enjoying the game, however, it seems that I'm stuck and I think it's a bug.

After infesting the Salon, going to the Courtyard, my last option available is "review your objectives", which then sends me to a page where there is only "Double-click this passage to edit it."

Of course, nothing happens.

So... does anything happen at the mall? I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do there. I think I've got most of the other scenes (all family members infested, egg-laying with Claire).

Edit: Never mind. Infest your own neck parasite. Took me a while... lol

You said you're looking for writers.

However, you didn't say you were looking for a writer who has had a fascination with parasitic infestation bordering on desperation for the better part of their lives, and who writes and designs games around that writing as a hobby, has gone through Twine as an engine for year and understands both Harlowe and Sugercube, and is a general musician on the side.

Of course, you also didn't ask for a slightly overconfident narcissist, so maybe I should just keep my mouth shut for now.

PM me, I am serious about asking for help. Since starting this project, I now have more ideas than I started with. I think there's a lot of depth here and I'm going to push this game as far as I can.

Changelog:

Fixed a bunch of stuff in chapter 3.
Fixed audio mute function not muting all sounds.

Changed the pacing for parasite births in chapter 3 by adding multiple-births for Chet when fertility is high enough.

Added the Mall (Chapter 4)
- Chaos level mechanic, as the mall infestation grows the gameplay changes
- Parasite research mechanic, as the mall infestation grows more options become available (not implemented fully yet)
- Parasite den (Salon)
- Infestation/Infection of stores available. Options change based on how you played through the previous chapter.
- Altered storylines continuing based on whether you got dominated by your brain parasite or not.
- More of the plot has been fleshed out.
- Den (Salon) upgrades as you progress through the mall and gain slaves.

Yeah, TFGS has so much content and such a large active userbase that I almost wish I shared the fetish that brings them all together. As simple a change as adding an alternate start can open the doors for an entirely different group of perverts (like me).

I altered the game a little to create a non-tg start and plot. It might have some bugs but I played through and it looks like I got most of the plot changed.

Now that you mentioned it, the plot with how the school busted your infection out because you grew a breast will surely changed drastically if the MC was a female to begin with.

I'll post a walkthrough for chapter 3 soon

Also, updated to 1.41a - I lost track of the changes I made in this version. Fixed some bugs with chapter 3, improved parasite birthing in chapter 4 and rounded out the sub/dom mechanic. Added a functional map at the center of the mall that shows infection status.

BTW, great game so far!! I love the art. The text is the perfect length, where it's well detailed, but not so long that it gets laborious to read. The plot and pacing is really fresh and doesn't get dull. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, I appreciate your compliments!

Updated to 1.42 - lots of changes - fixed some random bugs, added some art, fixed the suit mechanic although it's not finished yet, added Sears infestation (approaching the end of the chapters plot). Also, I got help from UnGlyph on the coding, who has agreed to help for the near-future! They provided code to fold in the non-tg version partially, cleaned up the portrait code, and fixed some bugs.

Your game sucks and words are stupid...

...is what I would say if today was opposite day. Keep up the amazing work, I really like this alternative stuff and it's niche enough that you don't see enough of it. Your writing is really good too, which, believe me, is not a common thing. You'll also only ever get better as you keep writing.
