Yup, still alive! In my spare time, I've been working on the lead-in to the latest combo attack:

There are flaws, but hopefully they won't be very noticeable when one is actually playing through the game and not just watching the animation on continuous loop.;) (her wide-open mouth looks a bit weird without sound effects. . .)

Only real flaw I notice is that her legs shrinked down A LOT.

Otherwise this is looking real sweet so far.

The tentacle creams (or eggs) and it begins to pull out, but she isn't about to let that happen, she forces it back in. Fade out and in to a scene of the room splattered with tentacle juices, JG still using the tentacle as a toy, and the tentacle is looking exhausted or whithered.

Either way though, the game over scene you described sounds like a lot of work for you to draw.

Here's my imagined ending:

She comes home to her hutt, sees her muscular Jungle Man there, runs to him for comfort/hugz, at which point he asks (via picture-speech bubble, like a speech bubble with a chicken leg pictured in it) where the food she was supposed to be getting is (look, we have plot!), she does a "o.o oh crap" face, then we see a side view of the outside of the house as she's abruptly booted out and lands nekkid facefirst with a squish in a large mud puddle, at which point she looks up all muddy (this could be easier to animate since the mud would minus some details) and sees alllll the tentacles waiting for her. (I'm imagining that we see her looking up as she looks towards the camera/screen, then we see what she's looking at from behind her - a forest filled with tentacles hovering around/hanging from trees/looking up like periscopes from the ground).

You could end it there, but have getting that ending unlock the Gallery, which you could say is her getting used and abused by all those tentacles after the ending. You could even add in an updated version of the old "Red Tentacle" winning animation (as in the one when it's actually fucking her) and add a button for egg-laying if you so desired.

By doing it this way, everyone is happy.

That would run contrary to the established fanfic canon.

Are you saying that you haven't read the fanfic? Because it's right there, the first sentence of the second paragraph. "This elegant flower resides in the heart of the jungle on her own, never having come in contact with another human being."

The Egg idea is good. Some don't like the egg laying but some like me enjoy that genre.

I love the stuff, but getting that from winning? I don't know how that would work without some serious spin in the cutscene

But then again, it's not like many people play h-games for the story, eh? ...well.. .. yeah

As soon as jungle girls took a last step to her freedom, a trap was already set for, for a massive group of tentacles aim to ensnare her and hold her up against a tree, holding her arms and legs. From the same tree even more tentacles descend and without warning fill every hole of her, a few moments later she's forced to be the vessel of their eggs.
The screen fades and then comes a message on the screen:
"A few days later..."
She appears exhausted after giving birth to mini-tentacles and then tries to get some breath. All of a sudden more tentacles appear to repeat the same scene, but this time she makes a run for it and hides for a moment and then the screen fades and appears a message:
"To be continued?"

Just a thought :D

*shrug* I thought it would be good for a laugh for her to make it home to safety, but be humorously thrown back to the wolves as it were.

And I have read the fanfiction, but since when was FANFICTION canon? Jungle Girl never had a concrete story - in fact, if you wanted to go by the fanfiction, it ignored the Red Tentacle 100% and never had it. I'm trying to work with the game version instead to some degree.

The reason I made the Egg bit optional is because, as was said, Eggs are not a particularly common like in these games. It's a niche at best. But rather than say "no eggs period", it would be better to have that option within that gallery I suggested. This is a similar idea to what Demon Girl and (though LM didn't make it) Angel Girl gave us, with multiple buttons and selections, but nothing overly complicated for the programmer.

I find the humor in it. Fanfic or not, it would be a funny way to end the game.

Well, I've been lurking around these parts for some time now. I've decided to crawl out of my hole for a single post. Don't expect to see another one for a couple years :p. I must say the art on this Possible Remake looks...well looks fantastic. I know i cant give rep since this is my first post but i would love to do so. Well now since that is out of the way i bid you all farewell for now. *hides back underground*
